9/10 Great kettlebell instructor in Parker, CO
By Jenn S.

For me, Andy has been a great kettlebell instructor. At first, I was a bit skeptical that a person of my size (5' 5", 118 lbs) could even attempt to workout with something like a kettlebell. The first time I picked one up, again, skeptical. But after a few classes and some instruction from Andy, I began to get the hang of it. There are two people in his co-ed class that hadn't taken any of his classes before (me being one of them) and he's taken the time to make sure we have proper form so we can get the most out of our workouts.
10/10 Parker, Colorado Kettlebell Instructor

Andy does a wonderful job with kettle bell instruction. I had never worked with kettle bells prior to attending Andy's classes, but his approach was great. We began with basic exercises and grew into more complex workouts. At the end of the first week we completed a timed "300" test; at the end of four weeks we repeated the test - our entire group improved our times by over 30%! I feel dramatic improvement in my strength and love the workouts! The enviornment Andy creates and the knowledge he imparts is top notch. Anyone considering Andy as a KB instructor should absolutely do it. I wish I had more time to participate.

Andy came down to Castle Rock with several kettlebells in tow - including a 70 pounder! I had been watching and reading ETK, but wanted feedback on my form. Andy supplied that in an amazingly positive manner. I felt so solid on my form by the end, that when he encouraged me to push press the 70 lb KB, I popped it right up (ok, it was a BIG push). He knows his stuff, and gives it to you without holding back anything. After my lesson was over, he took his own time to show me a few Taekwondo moves - he cares about what he teaches and the enthusiasm is infectious!
Andy has a caring and empowering approach to teaching - something I didn't expect based on my previous experiences in big gyms (which is why I never lasted long in them). Six months later, and I'm still doing kettlebells - injury free - which definitely tells me that what I learned was correct in every sense of the word - Thanks Andy! (too bad there's no 11 on the rating scale)
10/10 Patient and very skilled KB instructor

....cannon balls with handles is how I explained them to my husband. It felt like an impossible concept. However, after spending time in Andy's KB class, I've decided that there is absolutely NO better way to work out. Andy is very patient and will take time to make sure you get the correct techniques down. He is a gentle, positive coach. He is amazingly knowledgeable on health and the body's responses to different types of exercise and diet. Andy makes our classes challenging and fun. With KBs my strength has improved dramatically. In my book there has never been a more efficient way to exercise. I definately would recommend coming to one (or more) of his classes!!
10/10 Motivating Instructor!

I knew nothing about Kettlebells a year ago....and last weekend I competed in a local Long-cycle Snatch and Clean & Jerk Kettlebell competition and took first place in the women's 12kg. I couldn't have done this with out Andy's instruction and motivation.
I started working out with Andy in early last year and was introduced to kettlebells through his Boot Camp classes and then last summer I took my first kettlebell class. I was hooked and have even purchased my own Red Russian 12kg kettlebell.
Andy is a great instructor and ALWAYS takes the time with his students to teach correct form. He challenges you in a very quiet and effective way to do more and try harder. For the competition I was seriously thinking of competing using the 8kg, Andy said I should compete in the 12kg and I did.
In the past year I have significantly increased my strength and fitness level and really enjoy the effectiveness and results of working out with Kettlebells.

My wife introduced me to kettlebells but I was reluctant to do them because I hurt my lower back. Andy gave me a few lessons and showed me how to do the movements correctly and no more back pain.
I started out slow because I was afraid of injury but within a couple weeks I gained more confidence and have now progressed quickly.
I look forward to working with Andy again and learning more from him. He is a great instructor and knows his stuff.

Thank you Andy for introducing me to kettlebells!! I use to be scared of them, but now I've really started to love working with them. When I first heard of them I always wondered how in the world can I get a full body workout using a cannon ball with a handle? Now I know that not only can you get full body workout but plenty of cardio too. Thanks again Andy!! I love it!

Before Andy's class I had worked out sporadically. I would be into it for awhile then lose interest as it became boring repeating the same things and not seeing much change in strength or endurance. As I start my 3rd year of Andy's bootcamp and kettlebell classes, I can't imagine not having it in my life. Not only does he keep it interesting by having every day different, he pushes me in ways I never would have thought possible before. When we first started kettlebells I thought the 8kg bell was where I would stay forever. The bigger ones seemed so ominous and so... BIG. But with proper technique and Andy's encouragement I have left that 8 behind and keep moving onward and upward. I didn't think it was possible but he did, and he pushed me to challenge myself. He is very good at motivating and getting more out of you than you think you can do. Not only that, but he is always so well informed, I know the information I get from him is the most current and truthful in the industry. He doesn't pepper his classes with tired, old exercise cliches' about lactic acid or squats being bad for you. This man knows his stuff. If you have an opportunity to take a class from him-DO IT!
10/10 Thanks, Andy!

I wasn't exactly sure what to expect when I signed up for Andy's kettlebell class, but no regrets! He (and his son) took the time to really explain the proper way to utilize the kettlebells so they would be effective and safe. They really are an amazing workout, and between Andy's boot camp and the kettlebell class, I've become so much stronger and healthier.
Thanks for the time you devote to our fitness, Andy. You're great!

But in a good way. He always encourages you to do more and more and more and more. But, he is patient and I need all the encouragement I can get. I have not known a more enthusiastic and positive motivator than Andy.
Andy makes the training fun and interesting. I now have a couple of kettlebells in the living room to play with while watching TV.
