When I first purchased the 16kg(35lb) I could not snatch it. However, after doing snatches with 12kg(26lb) on a regular basis, I was able to the snatch 16kg (35lb) for 7 reps on each arm last week. As a result, I predict that I will be snatching the 16kg(35lb) for 10-15 reps or more for each arm within a few weeks or less!!!
The product is as advertised and was easy to order. Two warnings to those who order: first - they recommend starting weights for men and women. Ignore these suggestions and start using the weight with which you are comfortable (test some of the exercises with free weights before you order to get a feel for the proper weight). Second, make sure you order the correct product. I mistakenly ordered two of the same kettlebell instead of one of two different weights. When I realized my mistake (about 12 hours later) the Company (or fulfillment center) refused to change the order even though the product had not shipped yet. The reason given was that they could not go out to the warehouse to find my order (but it magically found its way onto the correct truck and to my house). It is costly to ship these back.
I have been working with Kettlebells for a few years now and recently started doing the Viking Conditioning workout by Kenneth Jay and this kettlebell has been a great relief to me as the regular kettlebell was eating my hand from the number of snatches that I was doing. When you sink your hand in this one with the thinner handle it just glides over your hand with no contact. Please note I had not troubles with the regular kettlebells until I started the high rep higher speed drills. With the Viking conditioning I was just rubbing on the edge of my hand and well do 15 x 15's for 24 cycles and you have a mess if your hand is rubbing. This one is perfect, will start the 36 x 36's soon
