Your expertise and kettlebell workout routine has changed my life. I know you don’t know me very well..so I want you to know I really listen to what you say in class and try to give it my best. You may notice I move at a slower pace and use lighter bells however I really focus on every movement and wrap my mind around each move. I am slowly moving my weight up and seem to be getting stronger in my running. These small accomplishments mean a lot to me. I couldn’t run and I couldn’t breathe through a whole class when I first started. I’ve lost weight and feel so much better about my body in general. My mood has improved and I love being outdoors. What started out as 2-3 classes has become 4 classes a week and I hate when I have to miss a class! I appreciate what you said on Friday about preparing every workout to avoid injury. I can tell…my knee is so much stronger now, I don’t even wear my knee brace anymore. My core feels stronger and because of that my chronic back issues are much better as well.
Sometimes people don’t know that they are making such a huge difference in another’s life. Just thought it was time to let you know…you have made a huge difference in mine!

I have been working out with Michelle x 4 years. I met her as a group instructor at a local athletic club. Once she made the decision to launch Kettlebell Kamp, I knew she would become one of the most sought after trainers in San Diego. Unlike most Trainers who tend to stand around and watch their clients work out Michelle, on the other hand works out with us side by side. She ensures that we demonstrate the proper Kettlebell technique to minimize injuries. By following Michelle’s directions, videos, and demonstrations on technique and form, I am injury free. Michelle, not only is an experienced, skilled trainer, she is personable, approachable, and charismatic. These attributes cannot be taught or learned you either have it or you don't and Michelle has it all. I wish everyone could experience her class; it would be a life-changing event like it was for me. I look forward to working out with her for many more years.

I have been attending Michelle's Kettlebell Kamp classes for 3 years now, and I can't imagine what I would do without her. Michelle's always-challenging, varied, creative, and fun classes have shown me that I am capable of much more than I ever thought. There is no complacency in Michelle's classes. We are always being challenged to grow and push our limits in a safe, effective way, and Michelle definitely shows us how to do that through her own example. She is such a wealth of knowledge, which she shares with us through her weekly blogs. In my time in Michelle's classes, I have improved not only my fitness, but also my nutrition, overall health, and confidence. We are lucky to have her!

Michelle provides a highly challenging, organized work out. Since joining her a few years ago, I have left the traditional gym type exercise programs. She spends a lot of time structuring each class to ensure you're getting a full body work out. I feel I am in much better shape now than when I was participating in the conventional programs. We are very fortunate to have such a cutting edge trainer in our community

We are very lucky to have Michelle Carlborg in our community and accessible for daily kettlebell and related training. Michelle is so well informed, so professional, and so charismatic that she is the calibre of instructor who could have her name on a chain of studios, put out her own set of DVD's on late night cable TV, or be a trainer to Hollywood stars or professional athletes. Instead, and fortunately for us, she lives with her family in our community and does not want or need to "go national" or "go Hollywood." I have been hooked on working out for about 35 years now. The past three years with Michelle have been the most satifying, most enjoyable, and most productive of those 35 years. I have not been in such good shape since I ran Cross Country and played Rugby in college. In many ways, I am in BETTER shape than I was then. The variety of workouts devised by Michelle is amazing, and yet it all fits together and one workout builds on the others she plans for the week. And the cumulative workouts for a month build on the other months she plans for the year. Every workout keeps our muscles guessing, every workout is genuinely enjoyable, and miraculously each workout is somehow expertly pre-planned to take us to the brink of exhaustion,
rarely past that point, and never short of it.
Since first meeting and training with Michelle I have completely changed my diet and workout regimen. I have lost over 10% of my body weight while at the same time adding lean muscle mass. I have completed numerous half marathons, full marathons, and triathlons - all within the past three years (age 49). While Michelle's training regimen is not focused on any specific endurance events, her intense short interval strength/cardio/plyometric routine has given me the fitness base, strength, and injury avoidance to strongly complete in such events.
The turnover of Michelle's clients is very low. Just ask anyone who has been on the waiting list for the past 12 months!
Michelle's joy of exercise, learning and excelling is contagious. It was amazing to see her enthusiasm for kettlebell after she discovered them herself (and before virtually anyone else in San Diego was utilizing them).

Michelle puts her heart and soul into her Kettlebell Kamp business. She is organized & prepared with ever changing & challenging workouts. I am always amazed at how Michelle is able to coach us individually with a group our size. You feel like you are working out with a personal trainer! Michelle coaches us to use proper form so we don't get injured while pushing us to our personal best. There is not a second of wasted time & idle chatter. Michelle is constantly educating herself and us on the latest techniques and equipment. In less than 1 year, my body has changed dramatically and I feel so much better & stronger emotionally as well. I feel so fortunate to have been referred to Michelle and able to workout with this incredible group.

Michelle Carlborg's Kettlebell Class has changed my life. She takes the time to work on every class either pairing us with challenging partners, working out different muscle groups, increasing our core strength, increasing our stamina and cardio through her detailed workouts. She has a way of expecting us to do our best "pushing the limits within us" which makes her an incredible exercise life coach. She gives us weekly kettlebell updates on the workout style and she does side research on how sleep and nutrition greatly affect our performance. She has created a challenging, fair priced workout and you walk away feeling accomplished and because of this I feel great inside and out.
