My husband was introduced to kettlebells a few years ago and achieved wonderful results. Not only did it help him reach weight loss goals, but it also gave him better balance, flexibility, and energy. After him singing it's praises to me I decided to give it a try. I have been taking classes with Wendy for about 7 months now and I love her class. It is fun and never boring. Wendy is always coming up with new ideas to keep us motivated. Her positive attitude helps keep me on track and her love of kettlebells is contagious. She is a great instructor who is very aware of the individual needs of her students and is able to adapt each workout to fit those needs. I enjoy taking her class and feel fortunate to have her as an instructor.

Having taught Pilates for the past 10 years, I was concerned that Kettlebells might be dangerous if proper attention wasn't paid to form through movement. Wendy is super-conscious of safety and form, and always has her eye on her students and cues your form throughout the class. She has a wonderful way of encouraging you to challenge yourself while always putting safety first. Her classes are varied and creative and the atmosphere non competitive and relaxed. She is a great teacher and all around fun person to work with!!!

Wendy really knows her stuff! She plans great workouts and keeps the class moving! Classes are always challenging and she mixes things up so you never have the same class twice! Highly recommended!

I did not know Wendy prior to contacting her and found her name on the Dragon Door website as one of several RKC/HKC instructors in my area. I chose Wendy based on the great reviews she had received. I wanted a certified KB instructor to look at my technique and rid me of what I suspected was some (which turned out to be many) sloppy KB habits. I am not much for group excercise classes and using any type of weights, but Wendy has changed my view of both. I look forward to going to her classes. She is patient, enthusiastic and encouraging. All her classe are different and it is never boring. She has great energy and is so much fun to work out with.

I'm French and I took Wendy's class for 3 weeks.
I'm used to go to the gym and practise fitness (body pump) in France and I discovered a new way of working out and building my body with the kettlebells.
Wendy is a GREAT instructor cos she cares about everyone and gives special and good advice to everybody. She's very patient and shows the exercices and checks if you're doing good or not. And, moreover, she's a great encourager and she makes the class very fun.

After trying every exercise program around and never staying with it for more than 2 months, I found kettlebells with Wendy. She is an excellent instructor, very patient and she makes her class fun. Fun is important to me because it will never get boring then. I've been with her now for almost 8 months and I've gained muscle along with losing 35 lbs. I couldn't have done this with out Wendy's classes. I'm 56 years old and I am back to playing softball twice a week and I'm back to pitching too. My record is 11-1. I owe all of this to Wendy who got me back into playing shape. I've been doing the classes with my wife and it's changed both of our lives (she's made my wife even sexier looking than before). There are typically people at many different skill levels working at the same time, but Wendy manages to give everyone appropriate workouts. Under Wendy's guidance, I have been able to progress through many of the basics, and I'm amazed at the increase in my strength and confidence level. And the best part is, we have fun!

I have recently entrusted my precious 11 year old daughter (she is a nationally ranked synchronized swimmer) to Wendy' tutelage and she loves her!!

Wendy has been my trainer for nearly two months and a real source of inspiration! I see her three times a week and she is ALWAYS in a good mood, bursting with energy, full of pep. Her workouts are awesome; it's very empowering to feel yourself gain in strength and confidence. She is also very patient and thorough, explaining the moves until you get it 100%. I never thought that I could enjoy any form of exercise this much! Now, I look forward to every workout...

I train with Wendy and all I can say is that she is "FABULOUS!" I actually look forward to every one of my classes and in over 2 months have not missed one day. She makes it fun, she works out with you...if you do not understand a particular workout she will go through it a hundred times until you grasp it and she NEVER looses patience with her clients! Wendy was my partner at the San Diego RKC in August of 2009. Her enthusiasm and encouragement went a long way to finishing a grueling weekend featuring two days of 100+ degree heat. She was right there grinding out the 100s of swings, snatches, presses and squats with unmatched determination.
