I started training with Trent a few years back and started see improvement in my body immediately. His classes are fun and interactive. He keeps challenging us with different classes everyday. This encourages you to keep coming back as you know it will not be the same thing as yesterday. Not repetitive and boring. I approached Trent about training when I was pregnant. He incorporated and integrated me well in the class without making me feel conscious or worried. Gave great advise about the does and fonts during pregnancy. I trained till I was 8 months and felt so good during my pregnancy. He has an awesome personal touch which makes everyone feel included no matter your level. He is undoubtedly the best. By far the most qualified with the most expert technic.

I have been training with Trent for 2 months now. Every class is different and challenging. You never get bored. Trent makes Kettlebell training addictive. Well worth the time spent training (and in traffic)

When I started Kettlebells at the end of January 2009 I could not even lift a 16kg kettlebell. Not quite 4 months later I am able to do 5 snatches on each side with a 16kg kettlebell and this is all due to the excellent instruction and encouragement from THE 'kettlebell man' - Trent!

He is now teaching me to do a pullup and so my goal is to do 3 by the time Steve gets here in August. I can't do it YET but I will!!

One of the amazing aspects of Trent's teaching ability is his knack of being able to modify the class to incorporate all levels of competence: Whether a participant is a top athlete or an absolute beginner, whether they are injured or super-strong, Trent structures the class in such a way so that each individual feels not only included, but challenged!

Well done Trent! And thank-you... we have much to learn from you!

Trent Murgatroyd is a great instructor who is always encouraging which gives you the confidence in yourself to do more. One thing I love about Trent is that when I'm telling him - 'I can't lift a heavier weight' - he always says 'you can't YET'!

In the few weeks I have been going to Trent's classes I have noticed a significant improvement not only in my fitness and strength but more importantly my back is no longer aching when I wake up and my knees no longer trouble me when I do a bit of jogging!

To start something new like this at the age of 63 and feel fantastic after a 2 hour class is to me worth more than money can buy!!

Thanks Trent for the inspiration and never ending encouragement.

Trent is a great instructor.I have been doing kettle bells on and off for a year. it is the best full body work out i have ever done. i have seen greater results faster than traditional gym. Trent is great at pushing you that little bit harder to make the work out even more fulfilling

I've been attending morning classes with Trent for nearly 18 months and love the workouts. "Only Trent can get me out of bed at 5am ;-)". No training session is the same and there is always a lot of variety. Workouts are fun and sociable. Trent's dedication and commitment are inspirational and shine through in every training session. Kettle Weight training, with Trent, is a great overall body workout and I highly recommend his classes.

Having had such great instruction from Girevik Trent Murgatroyd and having been able to pass "basic KB training" onto my one daughter, Lauren, who is 17, she has now STOLEN my 12kg kettlebell!!
She confesses to now be "hooked on kettlebells" and cannot go a day without a KB session! The upside? After less than a month there is a noticeable improvement in what were already lovely legs . . . . they now have noticeable definition!!

So, like her father, she is already an outspoken advocate of kettlebells! She had this to say last week, "Dad, when I see an unfit person I just want to walk up to them and tell them about kettlebells"!

Also, studying for matric, kettlebells allows her to get a FULL body workout in just 20 minutes!!

Girevik Trent Murgatroyd, your exemplary kettlebell instruction has positively affected the look of a 17 year old girl's legs!! ;-)

10/10 Maintaining 100% Fitness . . . . with a broken leg!!

The training I received under Girevik Trent Murgatroyd allowed me to continue training from home a mere FOUR weeks after breaking my leg in two places!
A few important things to note here:
1. The instruction I received from Girevik Trent Murgatroyd allowed me, although in a leg cast, to practice the good form and technique needed to continue training!
2. Kettlebells is a TRULY AMAZING exercise which, even though suffering a broken leg, I was able to do 80% of kettlebell exercises!
3. Upping the kettlebell weight, which was to warm up with 16 (used to be 12), then move to 24, and then finish with 32, has allowed me to build strength and get a full workout in a shorter exercise period.

This has allowed me to maintain almost 100% of my previous fitness level . . . . WITH A BROKEN LEG!

I've only been attending Trent's kettlebell classes for about 3 weeks, but i have already noticed a change in my strength and fitness. What i find most enjoyable about Trent's classes is that you never repeat a workout. Every class is well thought out with new excercises to push your body to places it has never been before. It makes training unpredictable and fun - unlike various other fitness instructors/programmes. Thanks Trent, i look forward to many many more classes.

Trent has a deep-seated passion for the art of kettlebell training and it is evident in his dedicated teaching methods. His classes are well structured, varied and conform to all the laws and principles of trainging. He is constantly aware of each student and monitoring their form and energy level, even though he himself is also a participant in each and every class.
I am a practicing fitness specialist and I have achieved great results, both with my clients and personally, since I started integrating kettlebell training into my training regime.

Trent is an excellent Kettlebell instructor and a great motivator. He is meticulous about form, technique, and safety. He has a wealth of knowledge in Kettlebell fitness and training and never lets you down. His commitment to his students is impressive, to say the least, taking the greatest of care with newbies and old timers alike.
So, if you want to improve your level of fitness, mobility and flexibility, take one of Trent's Kettlebell classes!

I would highly recommend Trent and his class to anyone who is serious about their health and fitness.

Having taken part in many sports and different types of exercises, Kettlebells must rate as one of the best forms of exercise out there!
BUT, more than that, training with Trent is an amazing experience. Every class is different, interesting and hard-core.
I am in better shape today (age 47) than I was when I was 25, thanks to Trent and his Kettlebell classes. My legs have never looked so defined!
If you are looking to up your strength and power without bulking, look no further! Kettlebells is an UNBELIEVABLE exercise, and Trent is a very committed, talented, and yet humble instructor.

PS: Only ONE problem . . . . once you start, you won't be able to stop! After three months of training with Trent in the studio I've just bought a set of Kettlebells for my home so that I can get my KB-fix in between normal classes and on weekends!!

After some hectic treatment on my spine I was instructed to get my weakened back muscles strong......QUICK!!!

A friend(Megan), told me about Trent.After a week of classes I already felt an amazing approvement in my strength and even improvement in my mountain biking and not even to mention my indurance.

I've only been with Trent for a couple of weeks but I can surely say that his classes are worth the pain,sweat and effort.....KEEP IT UP TRENT!!!

Trent is an amazing instructor. He is always patient, ready to assist and with constant words of encouragement. His workouts are well structured and everyday is a challenge both physically and mentally. He pushes you beyond your barriers and encourage you to challenge yourself on a daily basis. I now look forward to my training in the mornings and after 5 months I can really see the improvement in strength and endurance. Trent allows me to explore the physical and mental aspects of fitness training, which assists me to shatter both the mental and physical barriers in which I limit myself. Attending a Saturday morning Kettlebell class is a highlight of the weekend. Trent is incredibly encouraging and helpful and his strength an inspiration to us all. The results people are having are clearly evident. Trent recently said, "there's no such thing as trying, you either CAN or you CAN'T." He makes you want to try harder; he has a passionate interest in everyone in the class.
The class is fun, with lots of new exercises and ideas but mostly challenging and rewarding.

Pound for pound, Kettlebell classes have to rate as the one of most effective ways to improving strength, stamina and overall health. But as with all excersise regimes, it's what you put in.
Trent is a perfect example of dedication and determination. His humble yet demanding approach ensures that his team of die-hards are constantly challenged, and more often than not, push themselves beyond what they believed posible.
Yet to see him have an "off day" - would be nice though!
Missing a session of Trent's classes is not an option - it's too addictive.

Emphasis is upon correct technique, adaptation, intensity, variety and upon achieving outstanding results! An encouraging instructor who leads by example, Trent is undoubtedly a true representative of the Russian Kettlebell ethos.
