I was assigned to Team Read, sub-Team Tim at the Melbourne HKC.
Tim successfully managed to spread his attention across the four of us, correcting technique, answering questions and clarifying any sticky points.
It's through that added layer of assistance on top of a great program with top instructors that makes the HKC so beneficial to participants, and added to what was a successful day for me.

Tim is an exceptional instructor who always keeps lessons flowing consistently and smoothly. His class plans are well organised, and include a large variety of different drills which keeps things refreshing. His demonstration and breakdown of technique provides a safe, practical and enjoyable way of gaining competence.

For me the most noteworthy part of Tim's instruction is that I never get the impression that the class is run by rote. While there is a general plan, during drills he is _constantly_ monitoring participants and providing a massive amount of feedback on both a group and an individual level. When correcting technique he maintains an extremely positive demeanour and his input is always constructive.

A kettlebell class with Tim is a lot more of an interactive experience than simply running through a set list of exercises. Is it this engaging style of teaching that alleviates the usual tedium of exercise, and in turn keeps me motivated.

Having done both introductory and intermediate courses of kettlebells with no prior experience training within the System, i can definitely say i have benefited from KB and from the instruction received from Tim. There is no questioning Tim's enthusiasm for both the system and in ensuring every student gets the most out of what it can offer, with careful attention paid to safety and technique, and a genuine feeling of support and encouragement for learning and progressing. I make no hesitation in highly recommend Tim as a HKC instructor for both an introduction to the system and for more advanced techniques and programs of training.

I have attended one preparation workshop and the first ever HKC course in Brisbane. Tim assisted in both. Tim's warm and personable manner makes one feel welcome immediately. Teamed up with in depth knowledge of kettlebell training Tim is the kind of instructor anyone will benefit from.
I have also assisted alongside of him in another course and found him to be an excellent and caring teacher. I look forward to working with him in the future and feel privileged to be part of the same kettlebell community.

I can honestly say when I first saw kettlebells and how they are used, I did not like them nor did I have any desire to use them.

After Tim explained to me the use of the kettlebell, and why we use them I was a little less sceptical and thought of giving it a go. I thought, why knock something without trying it first?

"The Harden up for summer course" came along at KMTA, being instructed by Tim and Jamie Bowtell. Once again I wasn't sure if I wanted to do an excessive workout with kettlebells. After speaking to Tim about it and what my goals were, he assured me that what I was looking for can be achieved by doing the "The Harden up for summer course" at KMTA HQ. I have now been training in KB for 4 weeks, and a few times a week before my regular Krav Maga classes.

I have seen good results! I started KB on a 12kg, and now I am using the 16kg bells. Personally my favourite techniques are goblet squat and dead lifts. I have even managed to successfully and safely do deadlifts with a 24kg KB!

I will continue KB's, with my love/hate relationship for them. But if I continue seeing good results why not keep going?

Tim is a friendly, professional and easy going instructor. I would recommend anyone in the Brisbane district to get in touch for some KB classes or a course.

I have never done any work out program before but I'm very impressed with how far I've come during this six week kettle bell course (I am currently in my fourth week). In the first week I was struggling with just the 8kg kettle bell but now I've become stronger through Tim's careful instruction and guidance. From the very first day of kettle bell training right through til now he has been consistent with his instruction. Technique is very important and Tim NEVER slackens in teaching us the right techniques. For example when we do get ups we MUST do the whole thing properly even if it's without the weight.

Tim is very patient. Where an average person would get angry when a student cannot seem to get a technique right Tim speaks calmly and will help us until our technique is perfect. It's great that he can instruct and remind us of things without being bossy too. Thank you Tim for training us!

Tim has welcomed all newcomers to his Krav Maga studio with honest positivity and an openness and strength of character that is somewhat infectious! Having a chronic injury, my KB training with Tim has highlighted corrective measures that I can now move forward with to improve my fitness and too my quality of life. He is a fun, rewarding instructor who pays attention to each individuals needs and isn't afraid to push us to our personal limits. Tim has opened us up to the world of KBs and we love it!

Having never done any weights training before, I was apprehensive about starting KB. I'm 4 weeks into Tim's Harden Up for Summer course and find it extremely effective, challenging, and most of all fun.

Tim is a true professional. His step-by-step method of training - warm-up, grease the groove, earn the routine - works like a charm. He is a teacher who is able to understand a student's individual needs and is available for consultation before, after or during a class.

His keen focus on technique and safety is reassuring. He does an excellent job communicating the finer points of technique that is so important to appreciate the training. I have a great deal of trust in his ability to design an appropriate program to provide the most effective and efficient training regimen possible.

I would definitely recommend Tim as a HKB instructor.

I am 4 weeks into an intensive introductory kettlebell course with Tim (Harden up for Summer). As well as wanting to get fit again, I was hoping to rehab and regain strength and movement following a number of old injuries including a full knee reconstruction and a broken neck. I have found the course to be excellent so far, with functional gains in strength, stability and range of movement. Tim's focus on safety, technique and breaking things into small, incremental steps means that I am able to get the best out of my body - while still being challenged. I am seeing results that years of rehab and physio have not been able to produce. I intend to continue working with Tim and seeing just how far a rebuilt body can go!! I have no hesitation in recommending Tim's courses to anyone interested in getting fit and pushing their body to new heights. Thanks Tim!

Given the nature of kettlebells, it is essential to recieve quality instruction with a focus on correct technique and safety. Tim provides all of these essentials in a challenging environment without compromise. I am currently going through a 6 week kettlebell program with Tim and have been studying martial arts under his tuition for 1.5 years. I have experienced Tim inspiring, challenging and relating to students at all levels. Tim has a stingent focus on safety and I have never felt at risk of injury when following Tim's instruction whilst still feeling challenged through the exercises. Tim is friendly and competent and challenging. What more could you ask for?
I look forward to getting my first set of Kettlebells soon so that I can continue at home, and develop my technique and range of exercises through further tuition.

Tim Uljarevic was the first person to Introduce me to kettlebells & the HKC/RKC System & hosted many workshops at his venue & gym KMTA inviting Andrew Read RKCII/CK-FMS to do alot of workshops & Coarses.Tim also assisted as a HKC at Queenslands first ever HKC Certification in Brisbane Australia along side Shaun Cairns,Andrew Read,Shannon Scullin. As a current HKC with Dragon Door I am working with Tim as a KB Instructor & we are half way through our Intensive Coarse called Harden up for Summer kettlebell program & students are seeing results & enjoying it. Ive known Tim for almost 4 years now training directly under him in Krav Maga which he is a Expert Level 1 & he is Brisbane's best KM Instructor without a doubt in fact the best in the state of Queensland, He sits up there with the top KM Instructors in the Country & he was trained by the best we are very lucky to have him in Brisbane very good KM & KB Instructor...

Having done kettlebell training for the first time with Tim, I have found Tim to be a very professional instructor. Tim teaches us the importance of technique which i find extremely valuable when dealing with ANY sort of workout! Following Tims instructions and guidance in this training has helped me with my latin dancing and the acrobatic work we do to lift the girls. I highly recommend Tim to anyone who wants to do kettlebell training, you wont be disappointed. And his attitude to everything is always of high standards, that reducing weight and getting technique is far more important then ego and pure strength, and to rest when we need too! I always leave every class satisfied with the workout and feeling great, and more importantly.. uninjured!!!

I find Tim to be a professional instructor, This is the first time i have ever done kettlebells, and from the word go Tim has made sure that my technique is perfect, we are always shown the task at hand and he gives us step by step instructions also showing us alternate techniques should we become fatigued and more importantly tells us to rest if we need to rest, and always encouraging us to use lighter kettlebells if it helps perfect technique. I always leave my class extremely satisfied with the workout Tim has provided for the day!

I highly recommend Tim to anyone wanting to do Kettlebell training, you will not be disappointed whatsoever. I intend on continuing to do my kettlebell training with Tim!

As a student of Tim's Krav Maga class I first found out about Kettlebell training through his KMTA website. Since I had already been trained by Tim before, I was confident that any system he endorsed must be worthwhile. After training Kettlebells with Tim I am very impressed with the results I've achieved so far. Doing long periods of swings seemed like a lofty goal but Tim has helped me to reach this goal in a timely and safe manner. Tim has an excellent grasp of all aspects of kettlebell training and his classes provide a powerful workout without any of the downsides I had suffered from isolation weight exercises in the past. Tim's routines will push you to your limits and beyond, no matter what level you are at! The training area is well equipped with a variety of kettlebell weights and plenty of space. I will be purchasing a set of kettlebells of my own to continue working on my training at home. I would have no reservations about recommending Tim as a trainer to anyone who wants to improve their strength and fitness and isn't afraid of putting in the hard work to get there.
