I recently saw Prentiss Rhodes for help improving my RKC skills as well as help correcting some basic movement patterns. His thorough knowledge of fitness and training, combined with his impressive educational background is the definition of practical science. Not only was he able to locate and assess my weaknesses, but he prescribed and guided me through a correction regimen which immediately transformed the movements with which I struggle. He is an adept listener, a clear and concise instructor, and a thorough practitioner: a true professional. My time with Mr. Rhodes was not only well spent, it was an absolute pleasure.

I've had the good fortune of working with Team Leader Prentiss Rhodes several times. His teaching style has a true calming effect and allows one to focus and absorb as much valuable information as possible. Every time I train with Prentiss, I come away better from the experience. A better student, instructor and person.

Attended the Chicago RKC, and needed work on my getup before I became an RKC. I scheduled a meeting with Prentiss to have him review my getup since as a Team Leader, he had the power to pass me on the spot.
Instead of just saying "ok let's see it", he worked with me for over an hour and we made a ton of progress. I learned some great cues and imagery to fix the things which caused me to fail. At the end of the session, I had learned a lot, but more importantly, executed the getup so much better than I ever had. Passed the test.
Prentiss isn't a rah rah guy, and you can tell he is always thinking. You'll always learn something when you work with Prentiss.

Before I came to Prentiss, I felt something was missing from my regular workout at the gym. I had been researching on the Internet about kettlebell training and read about Prentiss. This was the best decision I made to begin his classes. Each class session never fails to amaze me. Even in a group of people, it feels like the workout was custom made for me. Under his guidance and motivation, I have lost 15 pounds and gained muscle definition throughout my whole body. I was fortunate to find this elite instructor in the Chicago area!

INSPIRED...That is how I feel when I am around Prentiss. Not to just be the best for myself, but to also be the best for him. I see daily how he puts his mind, body and soul into his teachings & I want to work just as hard for him as he does for his students. He spends time outside of the studio studying, mastering his craft and learning more about the human body, kettlebells, fitness and nutrition. As a former collegiate athlete, he has helped me train my way to better basketball shape, conditioning and balance. I am now a better basketball player, but most importantly, a better all around athlete with a great awareness of my own body. I appreciate his hard work, knowledge and zen. He is THE best & I am SO fortunate to be one of his students!

I ran collegiate track and I workout everyday; somedays with kettlebells and I thoughy this workshop was very impressive. It was tough and very beneficial. I enjoyed this class but it was very exhausting

I've had previous trainers in the past in big gyms, little gyms, and have struggled with my weight since my first pregnancy. I've never felt as comfortable and at ease as I have with Prentiss. When I first saw the kettlebells I thought he was crazy, but he took the time to teach me how to use them properly and efficiently.
He's never made me feel like "the fat girl" in room. He pushes me enough to keep me coming back and keeps the workouts fun and interesting. I always walk out of a workout session feeling fantastic and confident.
I truly trust that he listens to what I want from my postpartum body and is helping me to get there. I'll never expect to look like a supermodel, but every workout makes me stronger and more flexible than before. Now all other workouts pale in comparison!

Prentiss is the calm inner and outer voice that motivates me to try and do things I never thought possible. I was a high level executive whose main exercise was picking up the phone. He took me from sedentary to moving fast and efficiently.
Every workout is unique so I never get bored. And his chiropractic knowledge has been so beneficial in overcoming some of my physical barriers. Don't be fooled by his gentle demeanor. He can cram more into five minutes than most do in an hour.
Prentiss knows how to get the best out of his students, and encourage them to work efficiently and to the best of their abilities. I now realize it is not about competition, it is the journey to becoming one's best. And there is no one I trust more than Prentiss with whom to take this lifetime trip.

I am telling you if you are looking to get lean, ripped and functionally stronger than ever before call Prentiss! I am a submission wrestling competitor and soon to be MMA competitor and I have been working with Prentiss for about four years on strength & conditioning on top of Mixed Martial Arts training. Because of Prentiss's workout programs even if my opponent is more skilled than I am I can make it up with strength & endurance and keep a pace the other guy cant. He is without doubt the best trainer I have had. What separates him from other trainers is that fact that he always finds a way to trick your body and does not waste a single minute! Prentiss is extremely patient and makes the kettlebell workouts a blast. With my favorite music in the background, the circuits go by so quickly that I feel like I am in a trance! Another reason I picked Prentiss is that fact that he is so affordable. I am getting the biggest bang for the buck since the sessions are less expensive but way more productive.

I have been a gym rat my whole life and have had lots of trainers in the past. None have even come close to Prentiss. After I turned 40 and had 2 kids in 18 months with a 60 pound weight gain each time, a friend recommended I train with Prentiss. He is a very smart, focused, serious kettle bell expert. His well thought out sessions with the bells allowed me to gain strength at the same time I was getting an incredible cardio workout.

I have been training with Prentiss for almost a year. I have achieved unbelievable results from training with Prentiss and the kettle bells. He is a patient, extremely knowledgeable, and motivating instructor. The kettle bell training is by far the most efficient total body workout I have experienced. Not only has my overall strength increased but my endurance in other activities and range of motion have improved as well.

I have worked with and trained with Prentiss for about 2 years. He introduced me to RKC training. As a personal trainer myself I realized the benefits of RKC training right away. Personally, I am seeing results in my overall muscular endurance and upper-body strength (which was stagnant). Prentiss is a true teacher, tough but patient and I have learned alot from each of our training sessions. I have committed to take the RKC challenge in June as a result.
