I've only been training with Paul for a short time now but he has helped me to do more than I thought I could ever accomplish. He is an excellent teacher and his instructions and cues are really easy to follow and also understand why you are doing the movement. I have absolutely fallen in love with this form of training and would recommend Paul and Trident to anyone in the area!

I should have written this review a long time ago. I started training with Paul at Trident Russian Kettlebell Training about a year and a half ago having never lifted a weight. Since then, Paul has showed me that limitations are purely mental and has pushed and encouraged me to be the strongest I can be. Under Paul's instruction, guidance, and direction I went on to earn my RKC Certification and am thankful and appreciative for all he has taught me and continues to teach me.

Paul has a wealth of knowledge and a clear passion for strength and fitness that transcends through every class he teaches. A notable aspect of Paul's teaching is the faith that he has in his students. Each class, he will make sure that each student is pushing themselves to their limits and is giving 100%. Paul believes everyone is capable of more than they think, which makes him a great instructor. I highly recommend Paul and Trident Russian Kettlebell Training to any and all kettlebell enthusiasts :)

i should have done this years ago ! the four and a half months that i have been training have made me feel the best that i have felt since high school , and that was 40 yrs ago ! i feel great not just physically but mentally to. I actually look forward to each class. Both Paul and Carolyn make every work out fun and challenging. Each one is different, never boring, routine or EASY ! They teach each exercise the correct way and have never been anything but positive and encouraging time after time. They and the other instructors always take the time to work with you even in the middle of a workout, if you need it. the atmosphere in each class is always fun and yet focused. Paul and Carolyn bring a special kind of energy and attitude to kettlebell training that will help you get to your goals and enjoy doing it.

It was my pleasure to work with Paul at the Philly, 2011, RKC. He was great, able to encourage when needed but equally able to offer a firm hand or any other kind of guidance needed, often providing just the tip a trainee needed to make an instant improvement in their performance. Paul's experience and expertise showed in everything he did - anyone who has the chance to work with him should jump at the chance. Thank you, Paul.

This past weekend I had the pleasure to work with Paul as a fellow Assistant at the Philly 2011 RKC instructor Certification. Paul is clearly very knowledgeable in both Martial Arts and the Russian Kettlebell. Additionally, his instructional capabilities are excellent. He was readily able to identify and resolve many of the technical challenges that the RKC candidates were facing.

If you are looking for and RKC, Paul is a great choice!

Paul has been one of my kettlebell instructors over the last few months and i have to say this is by far the greatest workout I have done in my life. I have seen dramatic change in my strength, endurance, and mental focus thanks to Paul's training and instruction. His classes are intense and no one leaves thinking it was easy. We are pushed to our limits and shown that we have reached new limits when we least expect it. Pual stresses form over weight meaning that he would rather someone use a lighter weight and the proper form than try to push themselves using a heavier weight and sacrafice form. His imagination in the exercises and routines that we do seems limitless, we have done complexes, circuits, muscle conditioning, and more. He always comes to class with a new focal point and something for us to add to our plate.I have found that these classes are pushing me in ways I would have never been able to on my own. As well as giving me new drive to hit my goals. Paul is always there to answer questions or give advice on how to help someone's form or how to focus on a specific muscle or area. he has helped me learn to use muscles in different ways and perform even simple exercises using different muscles for a completely different workout, I have to say I am very glad to have met Paul and be a part of his class, I hope to find that my limits are even further than I thought and have no doubt Paul will be there to show me that.

I have had the pleasure to train with Paul over the past few months, and must say that it's without a doubt the best weight training instruction I have ever recieved. Paul takes the time to understand each student and their abilities, while providing near individual instruction to everyone in his class. Every class is challenging, yet achieveable, and build not only your strength but also your confidence to help get you to the next level. I look forward to continuing to train with Paul, and improving my technique as well as my overall fitness.

I have been training with Paul for the past 3 months and the results are amazing! I train in mixed martial arts as well but when I incorporated kettle bell training my body changed drastically and very quickly. In the first month I lost 3.5 inches total, 2% body fat, and there was a major decrease on my scale, finally!!! This is after one month! So many people have told me that my body is smaller and tone. I love this workout, it is energetic, motivating, challenging and the cardio is key. It is a total body workout! I absolutely love it. Paul always stays with me, never lets me give up and keeps on pushing me. He makes me work hard every time and helps me push forward to that next level. I am going to be 45 years old and I look better now than I did when I was 35!!!

Paul's Kettlebell classes are challenging, fun and give you great results. Although I'm only able to attend 4 to 5 classes a month due to my schedule, in only six months my strength and physique have greatly improved. Paul is able to create classes that are challenging enough for advanced students and easy to learn for new students at the same time. Try it once and you'll be hooked!!

This has been a great complement to my martial arts training. I'm stronger, leaner and my endurance has increased. My BJJ game has gotten much better just from adding Paul's Kettlebell training. I travel almost an hour to attend his classes because I have not found anyone else who can get me these results! I have trained with Paul for approximately 6 months now. What a incredible way to complete and complement my martial arts training. I have been in the martial arts for over 23 years and this is the best way I have found to add to it. Great for functional strength and high endurance, both of what you need for MMA, BJJ and Muay Thai. I would highly recommend Paul's training to all of my students, friends and family.

It's been approx 6 months since I began training Kettlebells with Paul and the proof is in the pudding. My physique has drastically improved, my strength has increased and my determination to keep going gets stronger.
Since I began the training in June, I have lost 2% body fat, lost approximately 9 inches all around and lost about 8 lbs. The weight loss doesn't seem like much but losing fat and adding muscle is the intention. That is exactly what I have done.
I enjoy the training so much that I have decided to pursue the HKC Certification and possibly the RKC certification.
Thanks Paul for all your hard work and dedication. We are all reaping the benefits.

Paul is a role model for RKC training and the potential benefits that one can get from his training. He puts a lot of thought and consideration into designing each class to make sure that we are constantly being challenged and pushed to our limits. I am a former collegiate athlete and this is the best weight lifting program I have done. It is dynamic and efficient, the movements are hitting and working the the entire body. This is a great cross-training for MMA because the moves are explosive, and golf as well because you will be increasing your grip strength along with your core and legs. Ive done kettle bells in the past but when paul hafner brought his kettle bell class to tong dragon i jumped into it right away. Hes always pushing us hard and introducing something new to us just when you think you get him figured out he will change the game. After beeing with him for a little over a month at 3 times a week i have steped my game up more then i could ever imagine. My wind power and speed have never felt better and its hard to imagine training for a fight without this class now.

For someone who has tried everything from weight lifting to martial arts, Paul has introduced a whole new experience with Kettlebell training. He is knowledgeable and is dynamic in his teaching methods. Also his enthusiasm is contagious and makes you want to come back. I attended a Kettlebell seminar held by Paul Hafner, which was informative and fun. I learned a great deal in the seminar, including the basics of swings and catches and proper form. I left the seminar being excited to put it to use.
