I came to Lauren because I wanted to get ready for RKC. I had been doing kettlebells, but to be honest wasn't sure how I would get strong enough to be comfortable with the 24kg bell all weekend. Lauren wrote me a protocol and I went to work. I noticed over a short period of time, the 24kg bell felt light. After following her program for a few months my strength gains exploded, the 24kg felt extremely light and I felt extremely strong. So long story short, I passed RKC and enjoyed my weekend. Looking for a great trainer, who produces results, look up Lauren.

I reached out to Lauren while training for my RKC. I was following a great program but I felt like I needed a different approach to boost my confidence. I sent Lauren my current program and with the looks of it she believed that I was on the right path and well prepared. That’s when the question came up: would you still like my help? And I immediately said yes. Lauren sent my two programs first, and I started to PR right of the bat. I was Pressing, Swinging, Snatching, Squatting, Cleaning and doing Get ups with weights and never thought possible. A few weeks later she sent me two more programs and my progress shot through the roof. I gained more mobility, strength, endurance, and hypertrophy was just an ad on. I passed the RKC and it was not easy but with Laurens program and motivation, it prepared me well. I believe Lauren is a phenomenal instructor and ahead of her time. Her approach to kettlebell training is one of a kind and reaps results faster than any program that I’ve ever tried. She knows her stuff and is one of the top instructors in my book. Thank you Lauren for making me stronger and more confident.

I was fortunate enough to work with Lauren at the CK-FMS in October of 2010. Lauren is a very creative fitness professional; I don't mean creative as in standing on a stability ball with one leg, doing a windmill with a 24kg bell while balancing a cat on her her head. That's not creative and it's definitely not fitness, it's just a circus trick. I mean creative as in terms of thinking outside the box and being able to take the science she has learned with formal education and apply it to everyday life. Not many people can make the crossover from sounding smart, and actually being smart...she can.
I recommend Lauren because she is a top rate instructor that will identify with exactly what you need and use the best possible means to get you there, all the while eliminating the non-sense that doesn't work. You're in safe hands with her!

I was fortunate to be able to train with Lauren in both private and group class sessions and I am excited about what I learned. She is very knowledgeable, supportive, efficient and inspiring. I worked hard, had fun, and will be working on the drills she prescribed for me for some time. I have bought Laurens DVD and I cannot say enough good things about it. She is inspiring, sharing her stories and life with everyone. She instructs very professionally but in a way that is relateable.
I do the workout everyday and sometimes twice. My two daughters, 19 and 20 also do the workout and have seen fast results. It means alot when you can see the results of your hard work and committment.
Lauren has responded, personally, to my questions via email and helped me with a couple of hurdles. I live in Canada and never imagined that I would be able to receive this kind of support. I have always wished to be able to join Laurens classes.
Kettlebells have changed my life. Thank you Lauren.

After searching for a fun and motivating workout I finally found Lauren. I am a snowboarder and Lauren's workout has totally prepared me for the season. She looks amazing which is a motivating factor but also her workouts are constantly changing, never boring and always killer. I have a heart condition known as Long QT syndrome and, as a result, have a defibrillator connected to my heart. I am still very physically active and working out on a regular basis means a great deal to my mental as well as physical well being. My adult son told me about his Kettlebell workouts.
Upon inquiring, I was told again and again of Lauren Brooks being one of the finest physical trainers in Southern California. Lauren happens to reside in my home town of San Diego.
Today was my first Kettlebell lesson (private) with Lauren. It was truly a joyful experience. Lauren was made aware of my condition and proceeded to provide me with an extraordinary workout that was both physically invigorating and emotional and mentally inspiring.

Lauren is an awesome trainer! She keeps you motivated and switches it up, so you are never bored AND on top of that you don't even feel like you are working out. Lauen is not only a kick-ass kettlebell instructor she is also a great nutritionist. I worked with her online to help me shed weight I had put on since turning 30. This is not an easy task, My goal is 35 lbs and 6 years later, I had not been successful in achieving that goal. Her nutrition program taught me how to eat, and she helped me shed 10 lbs and rid me of my diet coke habit. Showing up to the RKC cert in Sept 2006, I was leaner than I had ever been and had good healthy eating habits.
Unfortunately, this year, I gained back the 10lbs, as I had stopped following the program, However, Lauren being the awesome person that she is, wants all her clients to succeed. She would not let me give up on myself and she helped me figure out what needed to be changed to get back on track. I am now dropping weight.
Whatever your goals are, you owe it to yourself to train with Lauren. Next to deciding to train with kettlebells, investing in her nutrition work was the best investment I have made for myself!

I have been doing kettlebell workouts with Lauren for over a year now. As an avid runner, I have always worked out, but training with Lauren has made a tremendous difference in my overall fitness.
