10/10 Practical Teacher!

Kristine was present at a couple of recent workshops I attended in preparation for the HKC certification in Seattle (Kettlebility). I was privileged at the HKC cert. to have her as my group instructor. She is very knowledgeable, and makes use of a variety of tools to help us learn. I liked how she'd take out a flip video-cam to record what we were doing on occasion, so we could actually see it and make the needed corrections. She, along with all of the other instructors, would not give up on us until we were able to correctly understand what we were doing and perform the movements correctly, and was friendly and respectful as well. Thank you, Kristine! With only a couple chances to work with you so far, I appreciate who you are, your care, and your skilled approach to teaching!

Kristine Gill has been training me twice a week for 5 months. I'm a first-timer to kettlebells!
As a massage therapist I greatly appreciate her emphasis on form, posture, safety, and orientation toward your goals. She invests a lot into her educatio... I see her comparing pointers with other trainers many times I see her, and she travels regularly to advanced courses for functional movement, Z-health, and the like. Multiple times she has brought to me some new technique or approach she has learned relevant to what I'm dealing with.
I'm very happy with continued results in my goals: upper body strength and size improvements (which many of my friends & partner & others have complimented), and lower body stability / joint health (put to the test by dramatically increased resilience against accidents, trips, and falls).
And very importantly - she's a pleasure to work with. Great smile and attitude, and I feel that she cares about her work and my progress.

I recently took my Level 1 cert in San Jose.
I was lucky enough to have Krisitne as one of the assistant instructors.
She had so many different ways to explain trouble areas that I had. I am not sure what it is like with a person who has never swung a kettlebell before but I am sure she would be awesome at that as well because it is a principle based system. She was able to easily spot my faults and give me instructions on how to fix. If she noticed that I was not picking up on the instruction she quickly gave me another one. Sometimes it took 4-5 but it always seemed like she had many in her pocket to give out if the others were not working. She was also very easy going and humble with a good attitude and easy to be around.
I would definetely recommend Kristine if you are in the Seattle area for Kettlebell training.
I hope to one day be lucky enough to have the opportunity to train with her again.
Go see her and you will know what I am talking about

10/10 Great resource for KB Instruction and Z-Health

As a fellow RKC, I have had the opportunity to teach 4 two day workshops as an co-instructor with Kristine. Although we were teaching the same material in each workshop, I found that I learned something new from Kristine each time we taught. She has a deep bag of teaching tools to call upon in dealing with the many different issues we see. Kristine is one of the most selfless and generous people that I know and it shows in her teaching. She uses every spare minute, before/after class and during breaks, to work with students on KB technique or help them work on corrective exercises with Z-health techniques. Although she is not CK-FMS certified, her knowledge as an FMS practitioner is top knotch. With her knowledge of Z-health and Muscle Activation Techniques, Kristine is an Kettlebell Instructor that can motivate and mobilize those in need of rehabilitation while advancing their level of conditioning. Most of all, she brings a smile to your face every time you see her. She is an outstanding instructor and a great human being.
10/10 Life Changing!

I have been training with Kristine for 6 months now. Up until then I hadn't worked out regularly since college. To say I was out of shape was an understatement. To take the step to get into shape was terrifying, but Kristine was encouraging from our first meeting. She kept telling me how strong I was, which I never had believed before. I had tried to workout on my own, but realized I needed a more personalized approach in order to stick with it. Through Kristine I have met a great group of women to work out with, and everyone is very supportive of each other (and Kristine is their favorite instructor, too!). It just makes it all so much more fun. Kristine has an all embracing personality that draws people to her, and our workouts are never boring. We're always doing something different to help activate the right muscles to do a specific move, and she has eyes like a hawk to make sure our form is correct. Got to keep remembering to bend my knees! :) And did I mention how much fun we have? Lots of laughing happens between each exercise.
I highly recommend training with Kristine.

Kristine is second to none!!
After meeting Kristine, it took me less than a nanosecond to decide not only to join her kettlebell class but to hire her as my personal trainer to help strengthen my core and increase mobility to improve my golf game. After three short months I'm already seeing results on the course! Now, if only I could convince her to be my caddy.
Seriously, Kristine's passion and dedication to her clients' success permeates every facet of her preparation and instruction. She has an uncanny ability to zero in on areas of weakness interfering with performance and mobility, and then discerns proper corrective measure so potential is attained. Her gracious and encouraging teaching style dissolves any feelings of ineptness!
Exercise fun? Vigourous kettlebell workouts fun? Absolutely with Kristine's winsome personality and humor! Sometimes it's hard to decide if it's kettlebells I look forward to each week, or watching her in action. At times, I laugh so much I feel like I'm getting a two-for-one deal; core strengthening along with internal jogging.
You want to get fit & trim? You want a skilled, fun, dedicated instructor? Look no further! Kristine is the one you want to seek out!

I've been doing KB with Kristine for a few months and I love it. It's challenging and fun. Kristines teaching style is the best because she is all about form and technique. She keeps it safe but kicks your butt! An incredible workout that I am addicted to. It's amazing to watch her demonstrate exercises because she is so skillful and strong, and you can tell she believes 110% in what she is teaching. That keeps the motivation going for me!

Kristine's enthusiam is contagious. This is my first kettlebell class and I am hooked. Kristine is patient and dedicated to teaching proper form and building confidence in her students. She is a perfect role model for her sport. Her grace and muscle tone gives a beginner like me hope for positive results in my future. I have discovered muscles I didn't know I had and I feel stronger than I have in years. Thank you Kristine for introducng me to a fun way to work with weights that will keep me motivated and growing stronger. Kettlebells will be a permanent part of my workouts and Kristine is an inspiration.

Kristine is a fantastic teacher. She spends time with each student, focusing on form, and never stops perfecting any students efforts until they get it completely. Her enthusiasm for both the sport and teaching are contagious. I have greatly enjoyed her class and it has increased my interest in kettlebells as a permanent part of my workout.
10/10 Terrific Instructor

Kristine has a wonderful gift for teaching, a great delivery of instructions which is hard to find. All while making you work hard, stay tight, use good form and push yourself. The workouts are always exciting, fun, ever changing. I always find out what good of shape I am not in after a class. I leave more motivated then when I arrived to class.
Kristine and Andrea work very well together, run there classes and have lots of fun doing it. If you want to get in better shape, tighten up form, have some fun and meet some great people, you owe it to yourself to checkout Kettlebility.
10/10 Fun HARD Workouts - love it!!!

Kristine was teaching the class I went to watch to see if Kettlebells would be something I'd be interested in trying. I was sold right from the start! Her excitement and enthusiasm for what she is doing is so strong that it draws you in! I could hardly wait to take my start up session so I could start taking classes! And Kristine was more than willing to get me started the very next day.
I like the way Kristine breaks down the different exercises. She has a way of breaking them down to help you better execute them. I've been struggling with the Clean lately and after she watched what I was doing she was able to point out a couple adjustments I needed me to make. Finally I think I'm getting the hang of it! Thank you Kristine! She also has a way of getting you to do more than you think can which makes you feel good about yourself.
I love Kristine's neverending energy! I always look forward to her classes - she gives a kick-a** workout, all with a great smile, and you have fun doing it! I always leave pumped and more energized!
10/10 Extremely effective instruction!
By Lt. Roger Sargent

Kristine Gill is an expert with Russian Kettlebells and is equally as skillful as an instructor. If you are looking for an instructor who pays attention to you for the entire session and balances safe technique with vigorous exercise Kristine will deliver.
Kristine walks her talk. She is very skillful in her use of kettlebells. She seeks to improve constantly and I have seen her demonstrate tremendous body control while doing extremely difficult routines using thirty five pound and heavier bells.
I have found that when she is teaching she is not self absorbed in her enthusiasm for personally using kettlebells. Instead when teaching she invests all of her effort in leading me to success.
Kristine's teaching technique is highly effective. She demonstrates the exercise and then breaks it down into the basic parts. Each time I start to exercise she watches very carefully for proper technique. If she sees a problem she immediately stops the exercise and describes the adjustment needed. Then she continues to watch to see the effect. Most of the time her first observation and explanation corrects the problem. But if I'm not getting it she makes quick assessments of the results and she uses a different approach to make her explanation clear. When I correctly make these adjustments I immediately feel the results.
Kristine Gill's teaching style is both technical and understandable. I have been able to avoid injury because she makes immediate and effective corrections to flaws in my technique. She is very patient and demonstrates throughout her instruction that she understands the process her students are going through to perfect each exercise. Her instruction has helped me gain core strength and endurance quickly without injury and has been a truly satisfying experience.

I have been going to class once a week with Kristine for about a month and a 1/2 and I love it! It is such a great workout, getting your heart rate up while getting stronger. I run a lot but don't do a lot of strength training. This is just wait I was looking for.
Kristine gives great explanations for the moves and demonstrates the proper form for doing them. She keeps an eye on how we are doing and makes "corrections" to our form as needed. The class is challenging and fun.
I highly recommend Kristine as an instructor!
10/10 PHENOMENAL Instructor!
By Amy H., Physical Therapist

Kristine is a fantastic instructor. She carefully corrects form and positioning and at the same time can keep the class moving so heart rate stays up and work out intense - just what I'm looking for. She varies classes to keep them interesting and fun and is open to suggestions about what we want to do. As a physical therapist, I am very aware of the importance of good form to prevent injury and Kristine keeps an eye on everyone to ensure good form. She presents excellent demonstration in her form when teaching us. Kristine's enthusiasm permeates the class - you know something challenging is coming when she rubs her hands together and gets a big grin on her face! I love this class and highly recommend working with Kristine!
10/10 Excellent Instructor, Excellent Sport
By Amy

I was this close to giving Kristine a 9/10 because of her habit of lacing kettlebell workouts with the exercise move I fear the most: the dreaded burpee. But I know she does it out of love. And as an excellent instructor she has earned her 10/10 :)
Kristine and Andrea often teach classes together, and they really compliment each other. Kristine is really enthusiastic and pushes you to do one more press or one more swing. She won't let you 'wimp out' and use a lighter bell if she knows you're capable of safely using a heavier one. This has really accelerated my improved fitness. The money I spend to take her class is well worth it: I end up with a more intense workout and there is someone monitoring my form. This is essential in a sport that requires one to whip heavy metal balls around. I've seen Kristine work with both beginner and advanced kettlebellers and she knows how to train a wide range of skill levels.
I look forward to my kettlebell class days. And who knows, as my skills improve perhaps someday I'll even learn to love the burpee...
10/10 THE TOTAL PACKAGE...!

Kristine has been my dear friend and training partner for the last 10+ years... We spent hours at the gym pushing weight in the typical gym ways. After being exposed to kettlebells, both Kristine and I transformed our workouts and had amazing results: she got a heck of a lot stronger, and I lost a bunch of weight (and got stronger too) and we weren't spending hours at the gym any longer - 30 minutes and we're out for a latte!
Since Kristine and I received our RKC certifications and started teaching classes together it has been great fun -- her attention to the details of correct form, her enthusiastic approach, fabulous sense of humor, and positive attitude makes instructing with her a dream.
With her background in sports and fitness, and as an active duty firefighter, she brings a well rounded approach based in real life functional movements -- you won't find a better teacher and a more supportive mentor around!!!

Today was my first Kettlebell class. Knowing nothing about the exercise I was a bit hesitant. Kristine was very knowledgeable in helping with correct form and function. She made the experience enjoyable, entertaining and the learning aspect very smooth. She also showed enthusiasm and vigilance to all aspects of the course. I would defiantly recommend her for novice and advanced classes! I look forward to working with her again.

I had the chance to work with Kristine for the first time and it was a good experience. She was very firm when it came to the proper technique for our safety. I loved how motivating she was and encouraging to keep us going! It was a hard class but she was positive the entire time!!

I had no idea what a "KettleBell" was until a co-worker stated she was going to sign up for a class that was being taught by Kristine.
Kristine took the time to help an "older" (read: lazy & out of shape) person feel comfortable. Her encouragement and ability to help those of us a little more challenged is wonderful! She has an inate ability to watch over all of the students while giving a quick demonstration or working out right along-side the students. She truly enjoys what she teaches and helping people learn. How can you not enjoy a taking a class taught by Kristine? She has a gift, and I have benefited from it. Thank you!!

I'd been working out for a few months with a kettlebell my buddy had given me, I'd read Enter The Kettlebell and studied the DVD. Still, in just a few weeks in a class with Kristine, she'd helped me make more gains than in the months I'd been going it alone. She's energetic and attentive; even during a group class she is paying close attention to my form. She's great at making small changes in my movements that make a big difference. If you get a chance to work with her, take it!

For the past month I have had the opportunity to participate in a weekly kettlebell class instructed by Kristine Gill. Her enthusiasm and dedication to teaching proper technique and form make it easy to learn foreign movements such as the turkish get-up, swing, slingshot, and halo. Kristine is a highly motivating instructor; and while her classes are very challenging, they are tons of fun!

My husband and I have just started with Kettlebells and had the great opportunity to train several months ago with Jeff O'Connor in Oklahoma. We were on a business trip last week in Seattle and decided to check in with a trainer to see if we were still using accurate form. We met Kristine Gill in a Seattle park where she reviewed our form and offered us new tips and ideas. Best thing we could have done! Kristine was professional and lots of fun, she did a great job getting us back on the right track with our form and also introduced us to a couple of new moves. Kristine rocks!!!
