Kettle bell exercises/workouts require a lot of attention to form and technique. Kavon does an excellent job of breaking down the fundamentals of each kettle bell exercise in a way that's easy to understand. I also enjoy attending his weekly kettle bell classes because we learn something new every time and I always get a great workout!

Kavon does a great job and I really enjoy taking his classes. Kavon is also helping my son with form and getting into kettlebells. I highly recommend Kavon and Functional FitnessVA.

 
10/10 Preping for Olympic Trials

I had microfracture surgery on my right femur in March of 2009. I was told i would be unable to run prior to end of aug. This posed huge issues, as I had US Olympic Trials for the sport of Skeleton at the beginning of October.

I was at a total loss for how I could train for the biggest races of my life, without being able to run or sprint.

Enter Kavon Atabaki. Kavon was able to train me how to properly use the kettlebell to increase my explosiveness and train my aerobic and anaerobic systems, all without my feet ever leaving the ground. We started with the most basic of actions and progressed all the way to 60 minute Viking Warrior workouts. I made my trip to Olympic Trials in October and blazed some personal records with my pushes and my total down time! I'd only been able to run for 6 weeks and I was performing at a higher level than ever before. This was all thanks to Kavon and his skills with the kettlebell.

Kavon provides me with great workouts, they really challenge me. He is a stickler for the fundamentals, doing the exercises with proper form and safety. I feel much stronger in my lower body and legs along with added flexibility.
