10/10 Life Changing

By Leah Wahlberg / Hudson, usa

I started Kettlebells with Joe in 2009 after having my first baby. I had put on 50 lbs and was desperate for something to help me back into my jeans. I had never really worked out before, but I knew I had to give it a shot.

Joe was patient and encouraging. He never made me feel judged or pressured. Soon I was going to Joe's kettlebell class 2 and then 3 times a week and now kettlebells are a way of life for me.

I have since had another baby and Joe was very supportive as I continued kettlebells during my second pregnancy. He provided me with alternative workouts and exercises when I needed them and also monitored my heat and hydration levels. With his support I trained with kettlebells up to a week before I delivered. This time afterwards it took me a third of the time to loose those 50 lbs. of baby weight. I was amazed!

Since then I have been inspired to get my RKC certification too. Joe trained me through this process. He challenged me and pushed me to be stronger than I ever thought I could.

Joe has been an instructor, a trainer and an inspiration to me. He believed in me when I didn't believe in myself and my life has been changed forever!

10/10 Great Strength/Cardio Workout

By Heather Thoe / Hudson, USA

I started kettlebell classes with Joe a year and a half ago after hearing about it through friends. I was a little intimidated going to the first class, but that changed quickly. Joe is a great teacher – he starts with the basics and builds, focusing on proper technique with each exercise. His motivation and encouragement gives you the confidence to want to push yourself to the next level. Joe helped me to realize how strong I actually am! It amazes me how much kettlebells has changed not only my physical abilities, but also my mindset on what I am capable of. I have tried many different cardio and weight training classes in the past, but nothing else has incorporated the two so effectively. Joe designs every workout to be different and he is always searching for new exercises to make it fun! His passion for fitness and an overall healthy lifestyle along with genuine care for others is evident in classes. It’s why he has such a committed group of students; no one wants to miss a class!

10/10 Addicted to Kettlebells!

By Candice Collins / Hudson, USA

I am a kettlebell convert and this new passion is entirely due to Joe, he is an amazing instructor! Joe is a very patient teacher and his focus on safety and technique has such a positive affect on me, my husband and two teenage boys. We have all learned a lot from Joe about body and mind. He also throws in little bits of information about nutrition and has weight loss contests in the winter to keep us motivated! I still run but really don't need to as Joe always gives us a great full body workout. Class is never boring either, always different and always challenging. My two boys play sports and they have gotten so much stronger and improved their performance a lot because of Joe and his kettlebell class. So glad we were introduced to Joe and kettlebells, life is so much better!

10/10 Great Pregnancy Workout

By Meghan Smith / Hudson, WI

I started kettlebells when I was 5 weeks pregnant. Joe encouraged me to check with my Doctor to make sure it was ok to continue with kettlebells throughout my pregnancy. I have found countless benefits from doing kettlebells through the 9 month duration. I felt that it helped combat the unavoidable tiredness during the 1st trimester and I was able to avoid backaches and other pains that often come along with pregnancy during the 2nd and 3rd trimesters because my core was strengthened.
Joe definitely gave me the confidence and motivation needed to continue exercising through the nine months. I always felt safe as I was never expected to go beyond what my body was able to do. He consistently offered alternative exercises if a particular lift wasn't working for me. I also really appreciate how he ultimately focuses on safety first. All of us who take his classes know that we should focus on doing the lift the correct way instead of the "fast way." I recommend taking Joe's class to everyone...it truly doesn't matter your current fitness level, age, body type etc...It's not intimidating. He is a very motivating instructor!

10/10 All About Results

By Rachel Cherry / Hudson, WI USA

I have tried working out in the classes at regular gyms and I just couldn't seem to keep myself motivated to keep going. I have been attending Joe's Kettlebell Classes Monday, Thursday and Saturday for almost a month now and I am only hungry for more. Every day we learn something new and he always keeps it exciting. I feel like the class is more effective because of Joe's knowledge and his ability to teach the right technique. Joe is a really great guy and he makes you feel like your personal fitness goals are important. He shows you how to adjust different exercises in order to work the areas you want to. My goal was to lose 20 lbs and I have already lost 10 lbs combining Kettlebells with running a few days a week. I have more energy, flexibility and my body already feels stronger and more fit. I am all about results and I am definitely getting the results I was looking for because of Joe's Kettlebells Classes.

10/10 Doing it the Wright Way - Proper Technique

By Ingrid Blair / Hudson, WI USA

I value Joe's focus on correct form when teaching kettle bells. He is consistent in telling his students to learn proper technique and then move on to increasing weight/reps. I've been working with him for nine months and have experienced an impressive change in core strength, flexibility and energy level. I look forward to the workouts as Joe plans a great combination of several week "series" for us to build strength and stamina while bringing variety to the other sessions so that it always stays interesting. I have cancelled my very convenient sessions with my personal trainer at the gym located at my work and have replaced them with Joe's kettle bell classes.

10/10 Consistent excellence

By Jeff Kemp / Glenwood City, WI

I've known Joe about 4 years now and been his kettlebell student for about 6 months. His knowledge and enthusiasm for physical fitness know no bounds. What initially sold me on kettlebells were 2 things: the physical changes I witnessed in Joe after 1 year of kettlebell training, and the fact that this guy (who regularly ran marathons and ultra-marathons) was getting better workouts from training with kettlebells 3-4 hours a week than he was when he was training for 65 mile races and running 20-plus miles several times a week. His classes are challenging, always interesting, and his expertise extends to each and every student, no matter their fitness level. The class atmosphere is very friendly and positive; this is something that starts at the top, with Joe. And trust me, if your fitness level is low, it won't be for very long.

10/10 Very knowledgeable and makes the workouts fun

By Bill Martin / Hudson, WI, USA

I am Joe's martial arts teacher and his kettlebell student. I have been impressed with Joe's dedication since the first day he walked on the dojo floor. Not only does he practice constantly, he makes it a point to understand history, philosophy, and the "why" of the martial arts. When he said he wanted to get certified in kettlebell training there was no doubt in my mind that he would bring those same qualities to his own training and, ultimately, to teaching. Joe makes it a point to understand the goals of his students and to tailor a program to their needs. He recognizes the difference between the 22 year old martial artist who is training for full contact events and the 60 year old who is focusing on maintaining strength and flexibility. He varies the workouts and makes them fun. He adjusts the workout to the class in terms of each person's capabilities for weight choice and exertion levels. His classes are growing in popularity and that is a testament to the instructor.

10/10 Great Instructor for a great workout

By Corey Knighton / Afton, Mn

I have been lifting and running for years. I began training with Kettlebells under the guidance of Joe Wright and have been amazed with the results! I go to each class excited about what we are doing and leave totally exhausted but refreshed. Joe varies the classes and pushes us to do the best we can. I would encourage anyone who wants a fantastic workout experience to take a Kettlebell class from Joe.

10/10 Great Kettlbells Instructor

By Ryan Doyle / Hudson, WI

Anyone can join a Kettlebells class, but the level of success that you achieve and the enjoyment you get from the class depends on the quality of the instructor. Students who have Joe for an instructor will most certainly be successful in losing weight and gaining strength. He has an amazing ability to keep the training fun, while motivating you to push yourself. After training with Joe for six months, I have seen drastic improvements in my strength, flexibility, posture, and overall health. I find that I have more energy than ever before. If you are thinking about joining a Kettlebells class, there is no better instructor than Joe.

10/10 Great Strength

By Jon Wahlberg / Hudson, WI USA

With Joe's help and continous encouragement I have found great strength that was lying dormant inside of me. I have been training with Joe since Nov. 08 and the progress that I have made sometimes shocks me. I have found that kettlebell training has made all of lifes day to day tasks easier. The core strength and flexability I have achieved are phenomenal. The best thing about Joe's workouts is that you never know what to expect from week to week. If you are afraid of getting stuck in a rut, you don't have to worry about that with Joe. He keeps it challenging and interesting. I started kettlebells after hearing about it from my mom and now my wife has also joined the class. Kettlebell training helped my wife peel off the baby weight after giving birth to our son in February. Kettlebells has become a big part of our lives and we now train 3x per week with Joe and feel like we are cheating on ourselves if we miss a class. If you are looking for a great instructor who really cares about your gains, look no further.

10/10 My Dad. The Kettlebell Instructor.

By Michael Wright / Hudson, WI

Joe is my dad. He and I started Karate about three years ago and I started Jiu-Jitstu six months ago. When I started I was relatively weak and being a thirteen year-old boy that was very difficult for me. His classes are all unique and effective. Now I've been doing Kettlebells for about five months and have noticed an extreme increase in strength, endurance, flexibility, as well as my self-confidence. I took second in a Jiu-Jitstu tournament which never would have happened without my dads Kettlebell instruction. You will very much enjoy working with him.

10/10 GREAT INSTRUCTOR

By Cheri Anderson / Hudson, Wi

Joe is an awesome kettlebell instructor! His enthusiasm for kettle bells is contagious. His classes are great because they are always different and a great workout. He watches us like a hawk, making sure we are using the correct form and I appreciate this. Being a 50 + women, core strenght and flexibility are very important to me and kettle bells are a most effective form of exercise for this and amazingly aerobic. Joe has a wonderful attitude and is an excellent motivator. I highly recommend working with Joe.

10/10 Knowledgable, Caring, and Excellent

By Jake Varner, RKC / New Richmond, WI

I am a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu fighter who suffered from a lack of conditioning. I lost the open division championship at a tournament in the summer of 2008 because I got tired. After losing because of my conditioning, I hooked up with Joe to make sure this doesn't happen again.

With Joe's guidance, I improved my conditioning, endurance, and strength. Everyone I rolled with asked what I was doing differently because they couldn't keep up with me or hold me down. The next tournament I entered I placed third out of eight in a tough division. With two of my three matches going the full distance of five minutes. In these matches, I did not tire out like I did several months before. I lost one match because my opponent had better technique than me, not better conditioning.

For anyone in the Hudson, Wisconsin area looking to improve their workouts, athletic performance, and/or physique, Joe is the guy to see.
