By Cindy Dunn / Virginia Beach, USA

Jason - I have to express a sincere thanks for your leadership and integrity at
the RKC Vienna 2012. ...
4 years ago I underwent bypass surgery and was given = by the grace of God = another chance on life....As a result every day has much more meaning and every opportunity , and every challenge a more profound effect . After 3 days in Vienna, I am changed for the better, having not only attending The RKC , but having the pleasure to train under Jason Marshall . Jason has my utmost respect and admiration. His coaching skills, and correctives were excellent ! He has an incredible passion for teaching and pays attention to all the
details- Jason's patience and the confidence that he displayed in me
put me at ease , even though at times i felt like a total knucklehead!!! !!
It was an honor and a pleasure to be a part of "Team Marshall" at the RKC Vienna .
An experience I will never forget

10/10 Great Guy

By Laura Dill / Broken Arrow, US

I felt very special to be placed on Jason's team. I actually met him at my HKC but was not on his team :(, I learned so much at my RKC and he had amazing ways to look at different correctives and took the fear out of my weekend at RKC. Thanks to everyone that was a part of team Marshall we all went home with a brain full and NEW FRIENDS......Laura Dill RKC

10/10 The Best of the Best

By Chris Roche / Brownsburg, United States

Jason was my team leader during the RKC Level 1 training in St. Paul April 29 - May 1, 2011. As anyone who has attended the training, it's tough - a lot of information to process, a great deal of physical and mental training, few breaks offered and a pretty high level of effort and stress is involved. Jason was great at helping us to stay focused and as relaxed as possible. He and his team of assistants were constantly in contact and communication with us - it started at the Thursday evening meet and greet and didn't end until the final "farewell's" on Sunday evening.

For better or worse, I did not pass my strength test nor my snatch test. As a result, Jason offered to help me, via online coaching, to get up to speed and pass my test. Through his continued support and training suggestions, I was able to pass both tests and become part of the RKC community of instructors.

I've been a trainer and coach for over 18 years and have seen every kind of coach there is and I can tell you that Jason is one of the best - focused, caring, knowledgeable, encouraging, and driven. Oh, and he's one STRONG dude as well!

10/10 Strength is a skill and Jason has it!

By Dave Redden / Williamsville, VT., USA

Jason's no frills approach to moving big weights with easy form includes a clear understanding that limited mobility hinders strength moves. He has the simple tools to change movement patterns even in stubborn old athletes. He gave me the drills to free my thoracic mobility in ways that a Physical Therapist and myself a trained coach simply failed. My strength gains were immediate and continue to improve. There is good and simple technique behind the truth that Jason is pound for pound probably the strongest man I have met in 45 years. I will remain grateful.

10/10 Where do I start?

By Mark Wechter / Turnersville, NJ, USA

I can't say enough about Jason's instruction. Jason was my team leader at the RKC in May. As a teacher and coach of twenty years, I was in awe of his command on the expectations of the RKC. He applied tough love while teaching us every "little" detail. He took the time to correct my mobility issues that forged me ahead to be able to pass the RKC. Thanks Jason!
Mark Wechter, RKC

10/10 "When are we going to get started?"

By Elliott Stanton / Lubbock, TX

Being Jason's next door neighbor, I have had a chance to get to know him over the last 7 years. Yes, I have known Jason for 7 years. Unfortunately, I have only been training with him for 7 months. My work as a landscaper is very demanding and I always wanted to work out, but just felt too tired at the end of the day. After succumbing to several physical conditions, borderline high blood pressure, a hernia, acid reflux, etc. My doctor advised me to lose 50 lbs this year. Upon hearing about all my problems I thought I had, Jason's only response was, "When are we going to get started?" Luckily for me, that was the next Tuesday and I haven't looked back. I have lost 55 lbs in 7 months, gained core strength that I never thought I could, have increased stamina and flexibility, and have had a ton of fun. Yes, the work outs are tough, but it never seems like work, just the next challenge! If you are ready to change your life, give Jason a call!

10/10 We are Marshall!

By Matt Barrack / Waterloo SC

Jason was my team leader during the RKC. He made it one of the best and most refreshing expierences of my life! He never let me slide one bit, even when I thought I was doing everything right he would point out a subltle little move that I wasn't doing which made a big improvement. I have had an issue with all my phyisical activity where I favor my left side even though I'm right handed. Over the course of the weekend talking to him about it and putting more focus into the foundation moves has all but elimanated it. I still have lots of work to do but I have him to thank for helping me on my journey to extraordinary strength!

10/10 The Awesome Beastmaster of Awsomeness

By Paul Seaver / Rochester, MN

How can you rate a guy a 9 when he's a 10? Well let me tell ya this fella from Texas is great man with a big heart. He truly cares for his clients and his comrades. Another really cool thing about Jason is that he is as strong on the outside as he is on the inside. That says a lot about a man. His passion for people and their health and performance is second to none. This you can feel after spending a short amount of time with him. His witty humor and lust for life transcended into his training, he is a blast to be around and will motivate you to be a better person. I can honestly say my life has improved by having Jason spend some time directing me in my fitness goals, which now thanks to him, are shattered and set higher yet again! If I could be at like 5/8ths Jason Marshall Strength that would be awesomeness. Thanks Jason. Go Team Marshall!

10/10 Outstanding RKC instructor and RKC Team Leader

By Linda Mertens / Owner Fusion FItness LLC

I had the pleasure of assisting on Jason's Team at the April 2011 RKC in St. Paul MN. Jason is nothing but a true professional and a role model in the RKC community. His leadership and teaching skills are outstanding. He made an effort to work with each candidate individually over the weekend on kettlebell skills. His dedication to his team was above and beyond the call of duty. It was a complete honor to work with him and learn from him as well. If you have an opportunity to train with Jason take it. You will be amazed how much you improve your kettlebell skills

10/10 Where do I begin?

By Sheena Lance-Nold / Omaha, NE

Jason was my Team Leader at RKC in April. I prepared with RKCs Mark and Nikki Snow, so I felt pretty confident in my skills. Jason confirmed my confidence, but also gave me some tips to help improve my skills. This experience, with Jason's guidance, has changed my life in so many ways. He is so passionate about RKC, and that passion reflects in everything he does. Every skill had to be performed to standards during our practice, or he would correct us and make sure we knew what to do to improve. I felt fully confident during our skill testing, because he had told us what we needed to work on throughout the whole weekend. I would highly recommend Jason Marshall to anyone interested in learning more about kettlebell, or preparing for RKC!

10/10 True Instructor

By Kurt Hartmann / Pro Fitness Training - Eden Prairie

It was truly an honor to work with Jason at the RKC certification. He is a great Team Leader! His knowledge and passion are a rare and much needed combination among trainers. His ability to instruct and promote quality movement is extremely impressive. Not to mention his strength is almost unmatched. Thanks for everything Jason, hope our paths cross again soon.

10/10 He is Great

By Jonathan and Kati Jasinski / Leander, TX

When my wife and I moved to Lubbock we never thought that we would find such a well-known instructor. He did a great job in tailoring the work outs to our abilities and needs. He was very knowledgeable and answered our questions thoroughly. If he didn't have the answer right then he researched it and gave us what he found. The work outs always pushed us just enough and for long enough. We have never felt better. Thank you Jason, you did a great job.

10/10 Can't Say Enough!

By Daniel Cunningham / Lubbock, TX USA

I can't say enough about Jason Marshall and Lone Star Kettlebell. Not too long ago, I was in the poorest shape of my life. I really don't know how it got that bad, but one morning I woke up, looked in the mirror, and I hardly recognized the guy looking back at me. Like many others I have struggled with my weight at various times in my life. Fad diets never lasted, and it began to feel like I was hopelessly sinking in quicksand. At 335lbs+ and 35 percent body fat, I was obese and a borderline diabetic.

It was time for a change. While on a road trip with my friend, who was in the same boat, he looked at me and confided desperately, "I'm sick of being fat". I realized then and there that I too "was sick of being fat." That was the day I decided to turn it around, and this time I was gonna do it the right way. I have often been asked "How did you do it?" or "What's the trick". Eating right and exercising, it's that simple.

Following Jason's program at Lone Star Kettlebell has allowed my body to do things I never thought were possible. And the journey's not even close to being over. Each week new goals are met, and the results are remarkable. Jason's positive attitude is infectious and drives you to consistently reach new heights. I really feel like his attention to detail, and one on one instruction sets him apart. The functional movement exercises, paired with Kettlebell workouts are as solid training you could ever discover. That training, paired with the diet that he has recommended, has improved not only my strength, endurance, and attitude, but has lead to a remarkable physical change in my body.

I highly recommended this program, to anyone who's ready to dig out of the quicksand and achieve a body and overall health they've always desired.

Thank's Jason!

10/10 nice warm up

By mc, begin2dig.com / uk

Jason was invited to lead the warm up for the last day of the recent RKC II cert - it was a great warm up. What was immediately apparent is how comfortable Jason is in front of a large class, how well he knows and flows with his material. He's also a gentleman. They grow 'em good down in texas.

If you're looking for a trainer to introduce you to kettlebells, no matter your fitness level, Jason is your man. WHile he is a really strong guy, he's a thoughtful gentle guy who will make the path smooth and happy for you.

10/10 GREAT Instructor

By Haley Estes / Claude, Tx

I have worked with Jason in preparation for the HKC course he was hosting. Thanks to his help, I was prepared and felt like I was able to successfully complete the course. Without his help and advice, I'm not sure I would have been able to. During the HKC, Jason was very professional and extremely helpful. He definitely knows his stuff! I will be working with him in preparation for the RKC.

10/10 Very Impressive

By Chris Morgan / Lubbock Texas

Jason's manner of teaching demonstrates his knowledge of the subject. He is calm, confident, and is impressive in his ability to demonstrate his strength and mobility. I thoroughly enjoyed the recent HKC class that he hosted in Lubbock, TX. I look forward to working with him in the future.

10/10 True Professional

By Penelope Ramirez / San Antonio, Texas.

I had the privilege of attending the Lubbock Lonestar kettlebell HKC with Jason as an instructor and I feel so lucky to have learned from this man. His professionalism and sincerity were of the highest level. It is obvious that Jason truly loves everything kettlebells represent and he transmits this to his students immediately. The depth of his knowledge and his commitment to his passion(kettlebells!) make him a wonderful choice for the beginner or the experienced athlete. He is everything that the RKC name stands for!

10/10 Awesome Instructor

By Scott McCoy / Dallas, TX

I attended the the first Texas HKC that Jason hosted at Lonestar Kettlebells in Lubbock, TX on January 23, 2010. The instruction and advice he gave me definitely contributed to my passing and becoming an HKC Instructor. I highly recommend Jason to anyone that wants to learn the Kettlebell. He's an accomplished athlete and a skilled instructor.

10/10 Awesome Instructor

By Traci Furgeson / Shallowater, TX USA

I have been working out with Jason for over a year now, and I am in the best shape I have ever been in. Thanks to Jason, I have built muscle and lost body fat. I never knew how to work out when I walked into a gym, it was very overwhelming, but I have learned so many great things from being a member of LoneStar Kettlebell! Jason is so motivating that you actually look forward to being at every workout with him. I haven't ever had that opinion until now. I am being able to reach my fitness goals with his help. I highly recommend joining LoneStar Kettlebell!

10/10 A Great Workout Every Time

By Elvin Caminade / Lubbock, Tx

I always look forward going to my kettlebell class with Jason. It is very different from what one would expect from a physical workout. He gives different workouts every week and that makes a lot of fun. Never boring, always anticipating. He pushes you to your limits without being aggressive. He goes out to teach you to achieve better performance every time. He is very patient and enjoyable to be with. Thanks Jason.

10/10 Tactical training

By Matt Armbruster, Lubbock Police SWAT Team / Lubbock,Tx

I first met Jason in June 2009 with one main goal: To train and prepare for an upcoming SWAT tryout for my department. Before becoming a police officer, I swam competively in high school and college which took a toll on my shoulders. I'm 6'4, 190lbs, and when I started at Lonestar Kettlebell, I wasn't very flexible (I was only able to touch my ankles standing flat foot). Jason was able to prepare me for the tryouts with his extensive knowledge in trainging and Kettlebells.

When I started at Lonestar Kettlebell, I ran my 1.5 mile in 11:30, 300 meter sprint in 1:00 and I could only do 45 pushups and 40 situps in a minute. Needless to say my work was cut out for me when I read the qualifications for passing the physical exam for the SWAT team.

I trained for 5 months with Jason at Lonestar Kettlebell, and my results were my personal best. Not only did I pass the SWAT tryouts, I also completed the TTPOA Basic SWAT school and my physical test results were: 9:40 1.5 mile run, :41 second 300m sprint. I was able to do 72 pushups without stopping and complete 60 situps in one minute. My flexiblity also greatly increased to where I can touch my palms to the ground after a light warm-up. My shoulders are stronger than ever and I am confident that Jason's training is what got them there.

There is no doubt in my mind that if I was never introduced to Jason, I wouldn't be in half the physical condition that I am in today. Jason and kettlebells have completely changed my outlook on training and conditioning. I look forward to continue my training at Lonestar Kettlebell and can't wait to see where it takes me!

10/10 Impressive

By Joey Williams RKC, UCPD Special Response Unit / Pacifica, CA

I recently had the opportunity to work with Jason at a closed session HKC for Law Enforcement. Jason was very soft spoken but when he chose to share he provided a wealth of knowledgeable insight. When he demonstrated techniques it was clear that Jason has a complete grasp of what he is teaching. My only negative comment is that I wish he lived closer so I could train with him. If you are a police officer and you live near Jason do yourself a favor and visit him so you can see for yourself exactly what I'm talking about. At the risk of sounding cliche "He is that damm good!"

10/10 Quiet Power

By Philippe Til, Action Fitness Inc. / Los Angeles, CA

Jason and I assisted Pavel at a recent HKC training in New Mexico.
I was impressed with Jason's strength, flexibility and tremendous control of the kettlebells while performing a bottom's up, stacked 2 16kg KB press! Jason also knows what he's talking about. A great coach knows how to relay great instruction and Jason taught me a couple of drills that he learned from the masters, and passed them on perfectly!

I look forward to more opportunities to work with such a tremendous coach!

10/10 Jason Marshall is simply THE BEST.

By David Spriggs / Austin, TX USA

I have had the privilege of training with some of the best trainers and strength coaches in the nation throughout my football career at the Division 1 level. And to simply put it, Jason is in a league of his own. When I first met Jason I was a broken former offensive lineman that was told to never lift another weight! I was coming off four herniated discs in my low back that required multiple injections, surgery, and physical therapy. The doctors told me I was done and I shouldn't ever workout again. I looked everywhere to find something different, something that still would allow me to work out and stay in shape. I did everything from just stretching to Crossfit, but I was in pain and still frustrated. When I did my first swing I could tell this was going to work.

After training with Jason, the numbers I was putting up were simply unbelievable in my eyes. I had never seen such a drastic gain in strength and physical appearance ever. I had lost over 40 pounds and shattered my lifting records. At my first TSC in 2008, I weighed in at 305lbs, dead lift @ 365lbs, ZERO pull ups, and 77 snatches w/ 53lb kettlebell. A year later, weight is 265lbs; dead lift over 500lbs, 4 pull ups, and 116 snatches. The craziest part of it all is that when I had to stop playing football I could only power clean 195lbs. I was never good at it and never had the hip explosion to pull very much weight. I had never attempted to do a power clean in over 2 years and last month I pulled 285lbs on the clean!! Jason took my back injury and threw it in the trash. I have been without pain ever since. I'm leaner, stronger, and faster than I ever was playing football. And for any young athlete out there looking to go far in his/her career you need to look up your local RKC instructor and get with them ASAP.

Jason is the best trainer I have ever had the honor of training with. He is constantly critiquing everything you do to make you meet your goals. Jason is not your average Joe fitness trainer, he is a life changer.

10/10 Sifu is AWESOME!!!

By Robby Velardez / Lubbock, Texas USA

Working out with Jason is always an adventure. Jason is like the mad scientist of workouts. Day in and day out, he always has something in store for you. I'm 38 years old and I enjoy working out more today than I ever have. Jason has an endless amount of motivation both mentally and physically and for me that is exactly what I need. I have always had a passion for lifting weights and thought I knew the basics around the gym. After I met Jason, I began to realize I had zero knowledge on what it takes to workout. Jason takes the time to train you and puts every bit of 100% into his workouts. From flipping tires, throwing medicine balls, ring rows and planks, just to name a few, he will always test your ability. After you warm up, then he'll introduce you to the Kettlebells ~ GOOD LUCK!!! I have been training with Jason for 9 months now and every week I wake up sore. Jason has convinced me that as long as I continue to work out at Lone Star Kettlebell, being sore is going to be just a way of life for me. Thanks Sifu, you're awesome!

10/10 Very nice!

By Scott McCarthy / Lubbock, TX USA

My experience at Lonestar Kettlebell has been excellent. I am very thankful to have someone like Jason to motivate and guide me to a healtier lifestyle. Prior to joing kettlebell classes, I was going to one of the local gyms 3 or 4 times a week. I was only maintaining my fitness and not taking it to a higher level. Kettlebell workouts have allowed my to get out of the rut and get the results that I've been looking for. Jason makes working out both fun & effective. Thank you Jason!!!

10/10 Hooray!!!

By Anthony Furgeson / Shallowater, TX USA

I do not know where to start with the amount of thanks and gratitude I have for Jason Marshall. Before joining Lone Star Kettlebell I was on a path of destruction. I was overweight, out of shape, and very unhealthy with high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Over the past 8 months, my strength has doubled along with my stamina, I have lost over 30 pounds and many inches, and my blood pressure and cholesterol is now under control. I feel great and now I actually look forward to work out!!!
Jason has the ability to make people want to do better, and live better. The environment that Jason creates at the gym is contagious!!! His attitude, knowledge, teaching ability, and inspiration is second to none.

For anyone out there contemplating about whether or not to join Lone Star Kettlebell, just do it already!!! It was no doubt one of the best decisions of my life.

Thanks Jason

10/10 The Best Instructor and Results

By Laura Probasco / Shallowater TX USA

I am 51 years old and always lived an active lifestyle. I played tennis, walked and enjoy riding my bicycle. I worked out at the gym with a trainers instruction about 3 times per week. I still struggled with controlling my weight, maintaining strength, and joint and muscle pain. Plus my desk job got the best of me.
My husband has lower back problems and has tried many things in his attempt to avoid back surgery such as chiropractors, all types of exercises from a physical therapist and trainers. My sister-in-law is a physical therapist and suggested that he try Kettle bells. We found Jason about a year ago and the rest is history. My husband no longer suffers with back pain. He is able to do his physical job. He walks 18 holes of golf 2-3 times a week.
When I started with Jason 10 months ago I weighed 143 lbs. my waist measured 33" and I did not have the strength to do one push up on my knees. My balance and agility were not good. With Jason's great Kettle bells instruction and education about diet I now weigh 126 lbs. my waist measures 28". I went from wearing a size 10 to size 6. I can do 15 push ups on my toes. I feel great and I am pain free. I have never gotten these results from other exercise programs I have tried in the past. Jason is very thorough, patient and motivating. He is always working to improve his level of Kettle bells training for our benefit. I truly believe I have added years to my life and have a good 20 years of living an active lifestyle because of Jason's Kettle bells classes. Gotta work on that bucket list.
Thanks Jason and keep up the good work.

10/10 Model RKC

By Dustin D Rippetoe RKC II, NSCA-CPT / Guthrie, Oklahoma

I have had the pleasure/ honor to work with Jason on three separate occasions. Each time he has inspired me to be a better trainer and athlete. I have absolute zero doubts about his ability to teach and motivate and would encourage any who have the chance to work with him to do so.

10/10 Living Proof

By Jason Wood RKC / Denver, CO

I got the chance to meet Jason at the OCT 07 RKC, I knew from his calm demeanor and hard work ethic he was the real deal. One year later Jason and I served on the same team at the Oct 08 RKC this time assisting Team Morris. Jason showed me what efficiency is all about. He does not speak on of context or when it is not needed. He gives the right advice at the right time than shuts up. More instructors need to follow his lead and let the kettlebell do the talking. Oh yeah a bulldog bent press is his warm up. I have nothing but respect for him and cannot wait to see where his training will lead him. Jwood RKC

10/10 Former Asthmatic Couch Potato - Now Asthma Free And Crackin' Walnuts

By Kenny Wright / Lubbock, TX USA

A few short months ago, I was a 46 year old out of shape asthmatic couch potato on a collision course with obesity related problems. Since joining Lonestar Kettlebell, I've lost 20 pounds and more importantly gained stamina that I had not seen for 20 years. My asthma is well controlled now and I am able to keep up with the big boys without coughing up a lung. ( My inhalers have collected dust for 2 months ). On the golf course, I have added 25 to 30 yards onto my drives. Jason has pushed me to what I felt were my physical limits and showed me how much further I was capable of going. His encouragement and enthusiasm has transformed me physically but more importantly mentally, and I now feel like my personal fitness goals are obtainable.

10/10 Gain Strength At Any Age

By Bill Oates / Lubbock, Texas

Having been involved in weights, running, and martial arts for many years, I found that keeping up the pace of former years was getting difficult as I turned 65. I found Jason's kettlebells classes online about 5 months ago.I replaced the free weights with kettlebells and these workouts helped me tremendously. Jason is an excellent and motivating instructor and with his guidance, I have greatly improved my strength and conditioning. Thanks, Jason.

10/10 Awsome Experience!!!

By Jennifer Phillips / Lubbock, Texas USA

Jason is a very motivating instructor! He has taught me a lot about Kettle Bells and about my inner strength that I didn't think I had. He teaches in a way that everyone can understand and he makes it fun. I look forward to going to class every Monday Wednesday and Friday!!! Great Job Jason, Keep up the good work!

10/10 Awesome Instructor

By David Stegman / Lubbock, TX USA

Up until about 7 months ago my experience with Kettlebells was nothing more than seeing them
used in various workouts online. At that time, I worked out on my own at my house basing my routines
around bodyweight and dumb bell exercises. I have been training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for almost 13
years and I wanted to implement something to help my overall strength and endurance without
joining a regular gym and waiting on equipment that I knew was not "sport specific" for my athletic goals.
The old "back and biceps, chest and triceps" routine doesn't do much for overall athletic performance
in a demanding sport.

I compete in Jiu-Jitsu on the National and International levels, at the highest degree of technicality; the
Black Belt division. It's extremely important to not only have the technical aspect of my game in
the right place, it's now just as important to have the physical part operating at the highest level as well.

I truly felt I wasn't getting where I needed with my backyard workouts plus motivation was always hard
to find and keep. I had thought about ordering some Kettlebells and training on my own, but then I
heard there was a brand new gym in town with a legit Russian Kettlebell Instructor teaching classes.
So, I thought I would give it a shot and see if it would be something I could easily work into my Jiu-Jitsu
schedule and more importantly assist in the areas I needed help with; better overall strength and conditioning.
At 35 years old I have to take extra care of my body and by training with Kettlebells I feel I have made
big improvements in keeping my body in top physical shape.

After 7 months, I can honestly say that training with Jason Marshall at Lonestar Kettlebells
has been the BEST decision I have made in my athletic career. The type of training that Jason has put
together for me and my teammates has been invaluable. He really understands what our sport needs in
the way of strength and muscle conditioning. Never boring and always motivating, Jason has brought
my game to new levels that I thought would take much longer to achieve. I'm stronger, leaner, faster and
very well-conditioned and it's all due to my training at Lonestar Kettlebells. No doubt about it. I can feel
my improvements every time I'm in the gym or on the mat at the Jiu-Jitsu school. I know for sure I'll be
training with Kettlebells and Jason Marshall for a long time to come.

10/10 Patient and Thorough

By Rick Olson / Amarillo, TX USA

Jason did a wonderful job instructing and coaching my wife and me on the basic kettlebell exercises. We were able to quickly integrate kettlebells into our exercise programs thanks to Jason's exceptional teaching.
In addition, he went out of his way to deliver a pair of kettlebells and even spent some time instructing on the swing. His customer focus is superb! You will be glad you spent time being trained by Jason.

10/10 Motivating, Challenging and Fun

By Amber Bolen / Lubbock, TX USA

Jason is a great instructor. For someone who does not enjoy working out, I have loved learning kettle bells from Jason. I have definately seen a change in myself and I have him to thank. He is extremely knowledgable about kettle bells and how to teach each excercise. He makes working out fun but challenging and is always there for individual instruction.

10/10 Great Insructor

By Kevin Hays / Lubbock, TX USA

Jason does very well at instructing many different levels of individuals. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced athlete, he works well with both. He is very knowledgeable and personable.
