Jamal has trained me for over 4 years now, and has allowed me to achieve the body I've always wanted, this being very important to me, working in Fashion and TV. Other trainers I had in the past never quite understood my body, or how i like to train. Jamal on the other hand always manages to push me without the usual aggression of other male PT's and constantly changes routines. I can honestly say that even after 4yrs Jamal teaches me a new exercise every week, which goes a long way to keeping me motivated. Once Jamal got back from his LA training in Kettlebells this again added another new dimension to my routine. Helping me get ready for a shirtless photoshoot i had to do for Closer magazine's calendar (very scary!!) Well done mate on being a fantastic trainer and a thoroughly good guy. Keep up the great work.

When I turned up 40 last year I decided that it was time to go back to the Gym and have back at least some shape as I was looking square. Due to my professional experience and personal expectations, certification and college education are not enough for me to make a qualified personal trainer a "Top ***** 1:1 Fitness Instructor". I have met in past experiences certified personal trainers with a degree in exercise science that had a great knowledge base but could not convey that knowledge to their clients making them very ineffective trainers. I have been observed Jamal in my local gym long enough to encourage me to set up a consultation session with him. Nowadays I can personally recommend Jamal since has the qualities from experts in the fitness industry. Before I start my training he asked me to keep a diary of the things I was eating in one week in order to quickly see results. Jamal posses excellent people skills and be able to communicate effectively also is a great motivators and understand the process of change. What I really like about him
is that act and look professional at all times and I am able to work with him even if I am a very difficult and particular customer and so far has been able to help me achieve the results I was expecting. I look more tone and bigger I cannot believe my self when I look at the mirror although I still have a bit of belly but he reassured me that with time he will goes too. I really enjoy that hour a week at the gym because Jamal has in-depth knowledge of exercise technique, exercise theory and human physiology. Every session is never the same we use almost everything in the gym and no longer ago introduced me to the kettlebell exercises. He suggested reducing the use of caffeine which I was abuse and also to use more broccolis in my diet and introduce me to "quinoa" since I am a carbohydrate lover! Jamal let me believe that is also responsible and dependable, loyal and have a high level of integrity and is concern for the health and well-being for each and every client that he works with.

I have been training with Jamal for some 18 month now. That is also the longest time that I have been a member of any gym, and I have been a member of quiet a few in my life.
So in some ways, having Jamal as my personal trainer, has definitely changed my life for the better. His motivation keeps me on track to archive my goals.

My fitness has increased to my highest level that it has ever been so far. My body has changed from a unshaped one to something that I now can live with and see what it will be like once I get to my potential. I will definitely stay training with Jamal, and recommend him to anyone who looks to have a life changing experience that is a fitter and healthier self.

I realised that before Jamal, all the time that I had been spending at the gym was ill spent. I used to have to see an osteopath quite often because of bad posture but this is almost a thing of the past now. Everyone comments that I look taller, slimmer and stacked now!
I see Jamal first thing on a morning twice a week and they are the best days of the week. My range has increased, my strength has increased and so have my energy levels. He pushes me to the absolute limit and sometimes I am so exhilirated that I float home. The sense of achievment when I walk out of the session is immense.
After a particularly heavy session I always tell him that his ears will be burning over the next couple of days. The bells are the best - complete work out. And best of all, he makes me laugh - that counts for at least 1 point out of the 10 I gave him. Jamal is fabulous.

Jamal's in-depth knowledge of the human body and strategies for growth are outstanding. He knows exactly what exercises and techiques suit my body and how to achieve growth. He knows my limit and pushes me beyond what I believe i can achieve. He is a brilliant motivator! His keeps himself updated on the latest, most cutting edge techniques in modern day personal fitness. I highly recommend Jamal to anyone wanting to make massive steps in their physical development.

When I first went to Jamal I had no upper body strength, my stamina was poor and although I was 'running fit' I was not actually fit. Six months later and I am further along than I thought I could be. His approach certainly works best for me. I don't need shouting at - I need someone to tell me what to do, how to improve and to make me develop. Jamal does all of this and more but in a very calm and professional manner. He introduced me to kettle bells which I love - especially the swing. They certainly improve your stamina! He is also very good on giving advice on nutrition - i'm just about getting to like cottage cheese. Good guy, friendly, goes out of his way to help. One of the best.

What can I say... Jamal has turned me from enjoying sitting in front of the TV drinking a cuppa to going down to the Gym and swinging an entirely different type of Kettle above my head!
Jamal is an excellent motivator and realizes that the PT Sergeant is not the approach for everyone.
Since starting with Jamal I've dropped about 4 Inches off my waste and Im now enjoying exercise rather then dreading it!
I would recommend Jamal to anyone hoping to loose weight/get fitter.
He has also made me a convert to Broccoli (who'd have thought!).

If it wasn't for Jamal I would still be a couch potato eating malteasers every Wednesday evening instead of getting fit. I used to find the gym boring but that has changed since training with Jamal. He is a great motivator - he pushes you and varies the exercises so that you are constantly challenged. Jamal never ceases to amaze me with his knowledge of muscle groups! He also advises on nutrition, I am now a true believer in broccoli! He is innovative in his training, I had never heard of Kettlebells before meeting Jamal. I have come to dread those words "I'll get the bells..." I know then I am going to have 20mins of punishment, it's a fantastic way to get fit!! I would highly recommend Jamal to everyone!

After training 9 years and with several personal trainers I thought I knew it all. After meeting Jamal I realised how little I really knew.
Jamal is OUTSTANDING, he keeps me motivated and I really look forward to workingout now. My workouts are now FUN and effective.
With Jamal I've made the biggest gains by far and I'm not one to say this lightly (one arm pull ups anyone??). His knowledge is not limited to training, he knows his supplements (he stopped me taking most of them and I STILL made life time personal records) and his nutritional advice was a real eye opener. Even stress management and the list just goes on, I'm sure he could give me financial advice too ;)
WARNING: once you train with him you will never want to train without him again.

Jamal is by far the best personal trainer I have had the pleasure to work with in the fifteen years that I have been training. At round 40 when I felt that I had peaked and all training was downhill from then, his sheer enthusiasm was enough to motivate even a life long exo-phobic, with his endless knowledge of up to the minute techniques, nutrition, you wish you could prise it from his brain and make you own data base with it, he had me reaching for, and achieving a higher level of fitness that I had previously realized even existed. Not to mention feeling much more energetic now than I ever did at 21.
Jamal and his KB workouts are the main reason I still enjoy a punishing yet rewarding working out at my ripe old age, he is the main reason I could still spar with my sixteen year old son @ Tai Kwon Do(who is a black belt and very fast). Without feeling totally outclassed and fatigued I know Jamal is more than capable of achieving similar results with anybody of any age or size and comes highly recommended from me
