1/10 I GUESS I DIDNT FIT GRANTS "PROFILE"

Hi there
I've recently had a baby and I spoke to Grant a few months ago about getting fit and loosing the rest of my baby weight. After many emails and some phone conversations, he promised to write up my schedual and then .. Nothing!
I tried to follow up with him to see if he may have forgotten about me, he assured me that he was finalising my schedual and then .. Nothing!!
I then emailed his asking that if he was too busy for me to please let me know so I could look elsewhere but he apologised and told me to get ready we'd start our training on Monday but then .. NOTHING!!!!!
Very disappointed. If you don't have time for us just let us know, your not the only trainer out there!! If I don't meet your criteria let me know, I guess if you did train just anyone you would get the results that Grant claims he can give you!!
Sorry Grant but you just came across rude, and unfortunately you have given me nothing to score you with.

I have only been with Grant for just over 6 months, and I have lost a heap of weight, but more importantly toned, changed shape, and regained fitness. I have a mixed history of solo sports (ballet, swimming, skiing, riding) and some injuries along the way.

He helps me set goals, without being too prescriptive, but is always encouraging and appreciates your effort. He is really knowledgeable about nutrition, and this helped me a lot with working in good meals around being on the road for work, and generally avoiding all the regular diet pitfalls. Grant also emphasises consistency, which is the best form of discipline, and sits well with my own views.

I love his focus on PCC with movement and flexibility. As an older woman this is key to being able to attempt the more challenging strength work. This is where my passions lie - I hate doing a move in bad form, weakly or without fluidity. I have miles to go, and know that I can rely on Grant to keep me on form, spot a really good move and praise it and help me get there.

The strength work has been a revelation; those more familiar with kettle bell training wouldn't be surprised. But I am amazed at the integration achieved, and strength benefits produced with using these babies! Grant has the skills and knowledge to ensure you do it right, and push yourself to new heights (and weights)

Most importantly he keeps things fun, and I keep wanting to come back for more. I am intrigued at what he has to offer, and have no doubt he will keep developing and learning as a trainer, and I intend to benefit from more of that expertise!

 
9/10 From Fat and Flabby, to Fit and Healthy with Grant

I have been training with Grant for approximately 2.5 years and I can honestly say that I have never looked back! To begin with, Grant helped me identify my short term and long term goals, and he immediately put me on a clean and healthy eating plan.

The initial results amazed me! Within a few short months all of my ‘fat’ clothes were too big and I was finally feeling comfortable in my own skin again…but it doesn’t stop there! As I continue to train, my body is transforming into something that I never expected. Not only have I managed to bring my body fat percentage down to below 20%, but my strength is beginning to impress me and others included, my energy levels are skyrocketing, and my general wellbeing and mindset have dramatically improved. To date, I have dropped a few kilos, but more importantly, I have lost quite a few centimetres from all areas of my body, and I can proudly say that I have reached a PR (48kgs kettlebell squat).

Grant possesses a wealth of knowledge in terms of training and nutrition, and he encourages his clients to view training as a lifestyle change rather than a quick fix for fat loss. Grant has become my mentor; he teaches me about correct technique and form, longevity and of course nutrition. I recommend Grant to those who want to change, and are serious about improving their lifestyle.

 
9/10 No More Pain

I have been training with Grant at Cardio Haters for close to 2 years now. When I first walked in I was in a bad way with back pain. I had four main areas that caused my pain. These were facet joints, sacroiliac joint, internal disc disruption and hip. I was told I would need to have diagnostic blocks of my facet joints and spine. Depending on the results I would need radiofrequency neurotomy. (Radiofrequency neurotomy is injections into the joints and spine) I spoke to my doctor and told him that I wanted to try strength training for 6 months to see if this would help my pain. That was 2 years ago now and thanks to Grant I am pain free. No needles or operations, just a lot of sweat, weights, mobility exercises and advice.

Without Grant I would not be the healthier, stronger person I am today. I have been training at Cardio Haters for roughly a year now and I am so happy with how far I've come. I cant believe how much my overall strength and fitness has improved. I have progressed from a 8kg kettle bell squat to a 40kg which I never imagined would be possible for me to do. Grant has been fantastic giving me advice, keeping me motivated and helping me work towards my goals.

Since training with Grant my mind and body have re-connected, I feel more confident I am happier, stronger both mentally and physically and I fit into clothes I used to wear when I was 10kg lighter - which tells me ive toned up. Overall I feel like a better, fresher person after training. He doesnt judge me, he simply brings out the best in me

I have been training with Grant for just over 3 months. I have noticed a big difference in my core strength, Grants training has helped me over come lower back pain and sciatica. I haven't had a bad back for over 6 weeks now and I can take on activities which I would normally knock back because of my back. I feel fitter and stronger and even a bit younger.
I would and have recommend this type of training to anyone, Grant is a true Proffesional.
