I have been training for a few years now, I've listen to a lot of advice and trialed different workout programs from other trainers. For at least a couple of months I've had Grant in my ear telling me about KBs! What the hell i gave it a go... By far it's been the most effective training I've ever done! Its improved my physique, increased my strength and is very beneficial towards my sport. Grant strives to challenge you without fail and mixes up the exercises so you push 110% every time!

Suffering, and satisfaction. Thats what I got out of my 8 week kettle bell course with Grant. Nothing worth doing is ever easy, and this is definitely the case here, but with Grant's technical knowledge and positive training techniques, he made it a great experience. Pressing the 48kg was really something special! Fully recommend!

I can thoroughly recomend Grant as a Kettle Bell instructor to anyone who is interested in being passed skill and exceptional knowledge in a discipline. I have played sport at a high level and spent many many hours in the gym, and nothing I have done in all my years gives you this type of overall complete workout, and teaches you about both your body and mental toughness the way he does.

Grant is a fantastic A trainer who brings out the best in you right from the start till the finish. He Pushed me a 110% all the time and brought out the best in me. The results iv seen in the past 8 weeks have been far greater then the results and progress iv made in my past 2years of training! He has opened my eyes, converted me and I'm loving it! I have been training with Grant for four years now and I have been very lucky over this time to have Grant share his fitness passions with me and help me reach my goals. Grant is an excellent instructor and has taught me a lot about kickboxing training, diet, weight training and kettle bells. Grant has always pushed me to my limits and has been patient, encouraging and supportive along the way. He is meticulous on technique and sees that you perform to your best ability in every training session. Grant has supported me though a wrist injury and surgery, and I am now back at the gym swinging, pressing and snatching heavier bells than I thought possible! Throughout my recovery Grant has been very patient, always checking in with how I am feeling and quickly and efficiently modifying exercises I wasn't comfortable with. As a result my fitness and strength has improved dramatically, and my body composition has changed to reflect this. Grant is an outstanding trainer and I would recommend him to anyone looking to reach their strength and fitness goals while having a lot of fun along the way.

After a torn lower back Grant spent a few months with me to recondition my lower back and work towards doing Kettle bell training 6 times a week.

Initially I peaked at the 16kg bell but within another 3 weeks I moved up to the 24kg bell. Since the new year my strength and endurance have gone through the roof and I'm constantly improving, I look forward to gaining more lean muscle and working towards the beast.

Grant knows exactly what he's doing and knows exactly the type of training that will work. Pure genius.

Judging by the other reviews, you can see Grant is an amazing trainer. I have been training with Grant for 12 months, my strength has gone through the roof. I've had 2 knee reconstructions and problems with my back but Grant has modified my training to suit. He is very knowledgeable and patient when teaching new exercises. He mixes up training sessions to keep you motivated and knows when to push you to your limit. I am now pressing the 'Beast' and clean and pressing more than my body weight. Thanks for all your help Grant, and goodluck.

I was only with Grant for a few months but he definitely pushed me to my limit, which in my case was what I needed to achieve my goal for fitness. He wouldn't let me give up either. His training with the Kettle Bells helped me strengthen my back and ab muscles which helped me with my posture and my long time lower back pains from work. I saw an awesome change in my body shape and fitness and I thank him so much for that.

So if you need someone who you are willing to let them push you in order to get the results you want, Grant is your man. He knows what he is doing and I could trust him with all the training he was doing no matter how hard it was.

I've been training with Grant for more than three years now. He's the most knowledgeable trainer I've come across. He knows his bits and pieces. Before I started with him I was basically a couch potato who weighed about 90 kilos with 30% body fat.
After my first session with Grant, I knew it was going to be an astonishing trip with him.
After shedding the blood sweat and tears by training with kettle bells, it obviously felt good going beyond my limits and knowing that I had the abilities to do what I thought I couldn't do.
I am now 75 Kilos with 9% body fat and when I take that shirt off at the beach...it feels damn good. Not only he made me look good, be fit and feel well, he also taught me lots about training hard and what exercises work towards different goals as well as training correctly with the Kettle Bells.
As I said, Grant is one of the best trainers I've ever come across...and will always be the best with the amount of knowledge he has.

For the past year I have been kettlebell training under the impeccable guidance of Grant Hayes.
His professionalism and effortless patience he shows me at Kettlebell training proves that he wants me to excel and give 100% in every technique that I do.

I play a few sports and at times I get injured yet Grant manages to find a trick or two up his sleeve that will still allow me to train. He approaches each session with a "Never Say Die" attitude. If there is a will there's a way.

His experience and knowledge of the kettlebell is well sought after in the gym. He has started a craze that everyone is trying to get their hands on, quite literally.
He explains and demonstrates each technique eloquently, and this is so important to any client who wants improve and move onto the next level.

The passion he has for Kettlebell training is so infectious that you can't help but be passionate about it yourself, sometimes without realizing.
Understanding that not everyone will be on the same level of training, he can adapt training sessions that will suit people from all walks of life and still get the very best out of you.

Having had a shoulder injury that prevented me from weight training for several months, I lost motivation and consequently stopped going to the gym, with the inevitable weight gain.

Once my wedding date was set I had to get back exercising quick! I knew I needed a personal trainer and having been Grant's client a few years before, achieving fantastic results (size 16 to 10 in 4 months) he was the only person I trusted to get me into shape safely and in a timely manner.

I'd never seen kettlebells before and was sceptical about how my shoulder would cope. The techniques with kettlebells are subtle, but wow what a workout you get when you're doing it properly! My shoulder is now back to normal, and I've dropped 10kg.

Grant's anatomy and physiology knowledge mean he can skilfully create programmes that don't aggravate but strengthen muscles. He has the ability to explain what biomechanics are occurring with each movement in easy to understand language, so you perform the task more effectively.

As well as a great motivator, he's relentless with his task setting and he takes your goals seriously. His own drive to be the best at what he does and desire to enhance his skills means I trust what he tells me.

I recommend Grant in any capacity as a personal trainer, particularly if you want an effective work out with a difference. The kettlebell is so much more than a cannonball with a handle in the right hands!

I have been training with Grant for about 6 month while I lived in NZ.
I`ve done a lot of different fitness trainings in the past but nothing was so varied and interesting as the training with grant. He combines the kettlebell with other equippment and develops crazy and very hard exercises. But the exercises are not just hard they are unbelievable effective!!!
In six month I lost about half of my bodyfat and also gained a few kg muscle mass. I also improved my cardiovescular system because of the training with kettlebell.
And grant does not just get you results, he also explains you every detail about the exercise and how your body works, he is full of knowlage and motivation and so will you be.

Grant is not just one of the best trainers I've ever met but he also bacame a good friend of mine.

I have been training and working with Grant for about 3 years now.
He is a great trainer who gets results with his clients and I have myself benefitted from both his training and knowledge. With equal emphasis on training hard and aquiring the correct technique.
I have been particularly impressed with the results from kettle bell training and as a fellow trainer have been 'converted'! I have trained and been pushed in a lot of sports but these are real gutbusters!

I started training with Grant after a 3 year lay off from kettlebells. Although I had all the basic movements already Grant patiently coached me to lose my GS style movements and go completely hardcore RKC. His approach and patience with clients is fantastic. He knows exactly how to set a training task just tanatalisingly difficult enough to make you push yourself to achieve a new personal best.

All I can say is if you want results, Grant is your man. If you train with Grant, expect to be moving onto heavier kettlebells within weeks. Not months, not years, but weeks.

His attention to detail and technique is second to none.He will get you lifting kettlebells correctly and results will quickly follow.

Where to start!...
As an aspiring personal trainer and a collegue of Grants for the last 3 yrs I have grown a great respect for him as a trainer and as a person. I've seen his clients obtain amazing results and am not afraid of calling him one of the best trainers within our facilities. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone who is serious about achieving their goals and seeing results. I am currently doing an 8 week kettle bell challenge with Grant that has given me an abundance of knowledge in a very short space of time. As a dance teacher I have never been a huge fan of weights but have become very passionate about kettle bells through training with Grant. Mr. Hayes really knows his stuff and has an amazing ability to coach/explain the important details pertinant to kettle bell training without boring me to tears. In the first four weeks of my kettle bell program with Grant my body fat dropped from 22% to 17%. Ive completed in long distance cycling events, half iron-man triathlons, I teach group fitness classes and am a personal trainer myself, and nothing and no one has got me into such strong lean condition as he has.

His attention to detail with kettle bell training is what I believe makes the difference between an average trainer, and a trainer who gets the absolute best out of you every time. Training with him on bells has changed my whole mentality on weight training, on what it really means to be strong and functional.

Grants passion for this training is evident in his approach which is both patient and relentless. He expects the best from you and does not take anything less. His close attention to detail ensures that all his clients move with precision and accuracy. It is this constant practice and chase for flawless technique that keeps everybody motivated.

I am a work colleague and am currently being trained by Grant in his 8 week course of Kettle Bell training.
I have a torn supraspinatus tendon in my left shoulder and just when i thought my training days were over, he had modified my training so well that I am now snatching swinging cleaning and almost pressing. Amazing!!
Grant has also been instrumental in my quest to becoming a personal trainer and has shared his vast knowledge with me. He is our finest trainer and I have seen impressive results through his clients!
I highly recommend Grant and look forward to gaining more knowledge and skills from him.

I've been training with Grant for over 3 years now, and during this time he introduced me to kettlebell training.

We spent time getting the right technique and as I grew stronger and more confident, he introduced different exercises and heavier bells.

Grant is always making sure I do it right and always gets the best out of me. After 12 weeks I'm now snatching and pressing heavier bells than some of the guys! I'm female, 5'1" and weigh 52kgs so that's impressive!

I was really surprised at the great results we got with kettlebell training and over such a short amount of time.

Grant is a superb trainer and we always have fun training. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional, results driven, personal trainer.

Grant is an amazing instructor, I worked with him for around 10 weeks before I got married and he helped me fit into my wedding dress. He is very knowledgeable about the Kettle Bell. I have many back injuries and he helped me train while managing my injury. He was very flexible with timings and travelled to meet me. I would definitely recommend him as a trainer.
