Earlier this year I wanted to give myself let's say a challange but didn't know where to go or how to accomplish that challenge. So I decided to start looking for a trainer and what I found was a Very Educated "Dedicated to your Needs" kind of one ! I was always able and willing to get up and start working out at home for the convience of it but everything I tried I either got bored or did the excercise dvd wrong and hurt myself. So one day I asked Darren for some training tips, I hadn't talk to Darren since highschool days and was interested by all of his interest in being a personal trainer . I discovered that Darren was exactly what I needed to get the results that I was looking for !! His training skills are "RIGHT ON" especially when it comes to techinque!! Darren has taught me so much !! Everything from proper kettle bell swings to nutrition, Darren was always throwing out little tips that made a HUGE difference! Each week I kept gaining confidence thanks to him and I am doing his classes twice a week now . Darren keeps training FUN !! Always pushing you to that next level. He has made me reach goals that I didn't realize was possible but now I know that I can accomplish anything !! Thanks Darren !!

First, I wouldn't give anyone a 10; but Darren comes closer than any other trainer I know. Is he perfect? No, but he is the best I have had the pleasure to work with!

His strengths and skills as a trainer are spot on! First, Darren is extremely personable and friendly when you meet him. As he assists you in warming-up and stretching, he is already probing into your training history. When training begins, it is all business. He is constantly correcting form, posture, grip, stance, and adjusting weight as you either struggle or thrive. During this, he is constantly teaching, instead of just giving directions! This separates him from the trainers I have seen! Not only is he there to make you stronger, leaner, and more healthy; but he is instilling the knowledge for you to do it correctly and safely. That is something you can take with you even when Darren isn't there! He works hard to constantly correct the bad habits you have probably already learned. That is especially true with me. Next thing you know you have burned through a myriad range of exercises, are dripping with sweat, huffing like a locomotive, and have a big smile on your face after 60 minutes of hard work. The entire time Darren keeps the atmosphere light and fun, but never once stops pushing you.

9 out of 10 you ask? True, I have nothing bad to say, but this is one trainer who keeps working on expanding his knowledge and his skills as a trainer. 10 out of 10, definitely not! He hasn't even hit his peak, and I don't see him hitting it anytime soon. Just like those he trains, he keeps working to improve and I couldn't think of a better mindset for any trainer!

 
10/10 A Cut Above The Rest

I have worked with a wide range of trainers, and it wasn’t until I stepped foot into Results Personal Training, that I was able to find a trainer that is behind you 110%. Darren has been training me for a few months now, and I have hit more goals already with him beside me more than any other trainer I have worked with in the past 3 years. He is consistently challenging me both physically and mentally during every session we have. If there are new research/studies being published involving health and fitness, he is learning about it to make his craft more effective for his clients. This says a lot about his dedication as a trainer.
I consider him to be one of the best, and I am proud to have him beside me as I train for my competition season in 2012.

 
10/10 Teaching to be Healthy

I have just started to to train with Darren and think of the old saying give a man a fish he will eat for a week or teach a man how to fish and he will eat the rest of his life. That is exactly what Darren has done for me when it comes to attaining my fitness goals and maintaining great quality of life through proper technics of lifting and eating. The road I am traveling will leave doctors and chiropractors behind and painfree strong living in front of me. I broke my neck 3 years ago and still have not fully recovered, yesterday was the very first time I could feel the lats in my left side start to fire off which have been weak since the accident and my lower back feels so much better with the exercise Darren showed me to loosen my spine. I drive a truck and throw freight all day long and the technics Im learning will allow me do this which I love the rest of my life I am 46 and getting into the best shape of my life ... pain killers and blood pressure meds and prilosec sounds like recipe for disaster to me how does this sound proper excercise and eat the right foods let your body build and grow the way God intended it to. Thanks Big D for showing and helping put me on the right path. BG!

I just completed the Tour De Kota. It is a six day cycling tour over 420 mile aross the state of South Dakota. It was not easy, with days of bistering heat and gusty winds tormenting your every pedal rotation. I am happy to say that I was able to finish with above average speeds and also had enough strenghth to help weaker riders drafting me for support. I give full credit for my success to Results Fitness and trainer Darren Schlechter. I began training with Darren after an aggrivated knee injury made it impossible to walk without pain. I knew in my heart to could find relief without surgery. Darren and I discussed the issues and he agreed. My body was not balanced in my muscle groups. My core was weak and my nutrition was lacking. We worked on breathing, Stretching and overall strenghth. I am thrilled with the results and feel and look healthier than I ever have. I want to thank Darren for his great help.

I have worked out with Darren for almost 1 year. Darren is an innovative and energetic trainer who is focused on helping you reach your goals. Darrens workouts are challenging and effective. As a law enforcement officer, I have been able to increase my strength and stamina, which is important in my line of work. Darren has also assisted me with my diet. He has taught me how to eat on the run. By preparing meals and knowing what to eat, I have been able to keep a consistent weight. I would highly recommend Darren to anyone and everyone!

I've been training with Darren for about 10 months and couldn't be happier. Rather than bore you with metrics, I'll tell you instead I have a lot of bad habits and a few nagging injuries. Darren's helping me work through all of them, and I'M GETTING BIGGER TOO, GUYS! I'd recommend him to just about anyone.

Darren became my trainer one year ago. I participated in many sports growing up, but at 38 years of age I am stronger and more fit. Results don't come easy, and there have been many times that I did't think I was capable of one more rep or one more minute of work had it not been for Darren's encouragement. One year ago I began to train with Darren. I participated in many sports growing up but I have never been stronger than I am now. He is committed to safe technique and challenges me with every workout. Results don't come easy, and there has been more than a time or two that I didn't think I could do that last rep or go for one more minute had it not been for Darren's encouragement. I have been training with Darrin for 9 month and my results have been much more than I expected. I started training with the goal to loose the difficult 10 pounds that I have bounced around with all my life. My results have been more than weight lost it has been lost inches, incredible increase in strength, and most importantly a healthy life style change. I never thought I could lift everyday things with such easy as I can now. Trying to balance all of life demands is such a challenge. Darrin keeps me focused on my goals, motivated to do the work in and out of the gym and gets me through a complete workout in under an hour. Darrin is a "Trainer". He listens to you, creates a plan specific to your goals, and builds upon the achievement of the goals. When areas of the body are lacking, or weak, he targets the area, wakes it up and improves your overall body muscle function. The sharing of his knowledge of proper body movement, nutrition, and correct form/technique has resulted in me strengthen a lower back that was the culprit of pain, learning to eat the right foods at the proper time, and training for a year and half without any injuries. Life changing stuff! I love the use of kettlebells in our sessions. It is amazing to me that one small adjustment in a swing, deadlift, goblet squat or snatch can change the movement to a total body explosion. The kettelbells can be challenging but so rewarding! Training with Darrin has been the most efficient, effective way of exercise I have ever done to improve overall strength and endurance. Why? Because everything he has you doing in the gym builds upon itself and is done correctly, backed by the knowledge of how and why, with no time wasted.

I started seeing Darren about 3 months ago, fresh out of physical therapy from my second shoulder surgery. Since starting with Darren, I have seen major improvement in my flexibility, active range of motion and strength. Darren has taught me safe ways to rehab my shoulder and still get a good workout in. With my injury, my needs are different than most clients. Under Darren's instruction, I can safely rehab my shoulder and still push myself. I'd recommend Darren as a trainer to anyone.

Darren has been training me for a short time. I have never stuck to a program for very long, but this one is somehow different. Darren is constantly helping me with my form so I can get the maximum results that I am looking for. He has taught me so much more in our sessions than just about exercise. He takes a look at all facets and then helps me improve on them (from eating to exercise he has it covered). Darren also educates you in the process, he encourages you with the why and motivates you with the how. He truly is amazing and I actually for the first time enjoy going to exercise. I have recommended him to many people because I am confident that he has what it takes to make it happen no matter your stage in life.

Darren is truly awesome. I started training with him about 2 months ago and can't imagine how I lived 25 years without his constant encouragement. Darren is dedicated to his client's success and genuinely cares about working through any barriers that may stand in their way.
Before training with Darren I had no idea what to do at a gym. I was so intimidated by all the barbells, machines, burly men and grunting that I just walked past them and went on over to the cardio machines. Darren completely changed that. Darren is emphatic about technique and makes me repeat until done correctly. Although I may whine and cry about this during the process, I know in the end that he is making me better, and I appreciate it. I can honestly say that I hope he never decides to switch professions, because I don't want to train with anyone else.

Darren has been my trainer for about a month and a half now. He has been amazing at knowing where to start me/judge my ability and has really challenged me. He makes sure I am always using the correct technique so I can gain the maximum results. Although I only work with Darren one day a week for an hour I can definitely tell my body is getting stronger!

I have worked with Darren for a while now, and had the opportunity to watch him grow as a trainer and athlete. Not only does he have kettlebell and mobility knowledge, but he knows how and when to implement each technique to get the best out of his clients. It's a joy to see him start with a new person and watch them make progress in a realatively short period of time. Darren is definately a cut above the rest in the personal training field.
