This book is a fantastic resource. I initially purchased the Kindle version from Amazon while evaluating whether to purchase an IsoMax training device and then later purchased the paperback to make it easier to flip back and forth between the sections.
Part I ("The Science") convinced me that adding isometric training to my strength training routine would be a worthwhile pursuit. Part II ("The Technology") convinced me that I would enjoy adding the IsoMax to my training arsenal. The remainder of the book equipped me with the information I need both to make the most IsoMax training device and to be able to practice serious isometric training without it. That last bit is worth repeating: even if you never purchase an IsoChain or IsoMax, there are a lot of great isometric exercises and programs that can be accomplished without them. I'm very happy with this purchase.
I originally had it years ago, but lost it when I walked headlong into my own stupidity. Thanks for showing me the opportunity to purchase another copy.
Great price!! I completely forgot it is still out there. Now that I've retired and am slowing down. I believe it will be a great read.
This is an amazing book. I am amazed by the power of the isometrics and have seen great transformation in my body in just a month. Happy to have found this information and I highly recommend it
Excellent book, with some crazy rings based exercises; I just wish there was some kind of program for progression.
While this is a good book for a beginner, both the bodyweight and kettlebell exercises can be learned in greater detail in other Dragon Door books (Convict Conditioning covers the exact same six calisthenics movements and Pavel covers the same kettlebell exercises). I probably would have found better value if I was a first time reader solely focused on fight conditioning.
