When I first purchased the 16kg(35lb) I could not snatch it. However, after doing snatches with 12kg(26lb) on a regular basis, I was able to the snatch 16kg (35lb) for 7 reps on each arm last week. As a result, I predict that I will be snatching the 16kg(35lb) for 10-15 reps or more for each arm within a few weeks or less!!!

I've been working up to the 16kg for some time now. The reason for my slow progression was due to the size of the handle on the regular 16kg dragon door bell. I am so grateful for the new addition as it will allow me to progress at a much faster pace...can't wait for the 20kg! Thanks again Dragon Door!

I love Dragon Door Kettlebells!!! The coating is fantastic and I have never had an issue with chipping or rust. I would reccomend these to anyone looking for a quality kettlebell.

I love this kettlebell! As one relatively new to the sport, I find it to be a perfect weight for swinging with one or two hands. and the handle is perfect in size and feel. Having started with this one, I've since added 4 other Dragon Door kettlebells to the stable, and the quality of each is excellent. If you're shopping for strength and fitness, look no further...your search is over.

The product is as advertised and was easy to order. Two warnings to those who order: first - they recommend starting weights for men and women. Ignore these suggestions and start using the weight with which you are comfortable (test some of the exercises with free weights before you order to get a feel for the proper weight). Second, make sure you order the correct product. I mistakenly ordered two of the same kettlebell instead of one of two different weights. When I realized my mistake (about 12 hours later) the Company (or fulfillment center) refused to change the order even though the product had not shipped yet. The reason given was that they could not go out to the warehouse to find my order (but it magically found its way onto the correct truck and to my house). It is costly to ship these back.

I have been working with Kettlebells for a few years now and recently started doing the Viking Conditioning workout by Kenneth Jay and this kettlebell has been a great relief to me as the regular kettlebell was eating my hand from the number of snatches that I was doing. When you sink your hand in this one with the thinner handle it just glides over your hand with no contact.
Please note I had not troubles with the regular kettlebells until I started the high rep higher speed drills. With the Viking conditioning I was just rubbing on the edge of my hand and well do 15 x 15's for 24 cycles and you have a mess if your hand is rubbing. This one is perfect, will start the 36 x 36's soon

I love the E Coat on this kettlebell! I had some that were coated with something else and they are too slippery. This is my fifth kettlebell from Dragon Door and I love them! Really good quality :)

I looked into purchasing a few kettlebells to have at home to train with when I'm not working with my personal trainer. I have small hands so sometimes my grip is an issue. This is perfect because it accommodates my needs but I don't have to sacrifice in weight.

Started with trips to a local sports/fitness rquipent store, then Target.
Nothing at all looked convincing.
My first kettlebells were bought yers ago locally and are made with epoxy coating.
That's just plain wrong. How could someone come up with such an idea? It hardly makes any sense from a ruggedness/longevity of the product prospective.
But that's what was available at the time.
This time I put in more effort into my research.
And I would like to thank the person who wrote a very thorough review of the best kettlebells out there.
I decided to go with simply the best.
