10/10 Excellent Companion to Convict Conditioning 1 & 2

By Michael Krivka, RKC Team Leader / Gaithersburg, MD, United States

This is an amazing book! If you are a fan of Convict Conditioning (1 & 2) you need to get this training log. If you are preparing for the Progressive Calisthenics Certification then it's a must-have!!! The spiral bound format is a huge improvement over the regular binding and it makes it that much more functional for use in the gym. Great design, amazing pictures and additional content! Once again - Great job Dragon Door!

10/10 Calling this a Log Book is Selling it Short.

By Jon Engum / Brainerd, MN, USA

I thought what is the big deal about a logbook! Seriously mistaken. It is a work of art and with tips on each page that would be a great book all by itself. Get it. It goes way beyond a log book....the logging part of this book is just a bonus. You must have this!

10/10 MUCH more than a log book...

By Sean Greeley / Orlando, FL, USA

I've had a lot of training journals over the years. And quite frankly, if you had told me a training journal required anything more than blank sheet of paper and a pen I'd have told you to stop wasting your time and get your workout done already. BUT... I was naive. After spending a few weeks with the Convict Conditioning journal I've learned that a good journal not only allows you to track your progress, but inspires you each day to engage your program on all levels- physically, emotionally, and spiritually. From the pictures and great design, the words of inspiration and coaching tips from Paul Wade, to goal tracking, progression notes, and more... this is something any serious athlete committed to their development will find enormous benefit in investing in. Who knew that you could get all that (and then some) for a measly $30? Thanks Paul Wade and Dragon Door for producing another OUTSTANDING resource.

9/10 simplest, most effective training log I have seen

By Paul Singer / Cadillac, MI, USA

This is not only a great companion to CC, but it keeps you excited and motivated. Each page has a very effective way to track your workouts, and each page has another bodyweight training tip and photo. Just last night I made it to the page explaining how to do bodyweight hypertensions; something I have not seen anywhere else.

This really is a "must have" in my opinion. I have wasted time and energy making my own notebooks, spreadsheets, you name it, but the simple layout here combined with the daily tips and photos makes this truly the simplest, most effective tool I have personally used. It stays open on my kitchen table and each day I chart another day of progress.

10/10 On My Second log book and ready to order my Third

By Laurel Blackburn / Tallahassee, FL-Florida, US

Over the years I have used, bought and made my own workout logs. I didn't really like them because they didn't have all the features I was looking for. I was hesitant to order this because I am not doing Convict Conditioning. I downloaded the e-book and loved the format and layout but had no desire to download and print the log sheets. I decided to order the hard copy.

This workout log has everything I was looking for. I love that it has plenty of room to input and log workouts, sets and reps. My favorite part is the bottom of each page has room to keep notes and a section for extras. Although it has some CC workouts and progressions, don't let that deter you if you are not doing the CC program.

I am on my 2nd log book and it's almost full. I can go back and see any PRs I had as well as workouts I was not able to complete. Having this info in this format has really helped me progress.

It is also small and easy to fit into my gym bag.

Another added bonus is that there are really cool pictures on each page with tips and motivation.

Since I am on this page, I might as well go a head and place my order for my 3rd one.

10/10 Excellent latest addition to the CC Program!

By Joshua Hatcher / Holyoke, MA, USA

The above reviews say it all- consider this Convict Conditioning Vol. 3- a terrific book to keep you on track and beyond. Thank you again for this incredible series!

10/10 Glad I waited for the hard copy!

By Brian Thompson / New York City,NY, USA

When Dragon Door first announced the pdf download-able version, I was immediately tempted to order it. However, I decided to wait a few more weeks unti the hard copy version was released. I'm so glad I waited! The hard copy has a spiral binding which makes all the difference in the world. Paper is glossy (another plus) and there are motivational tips throughout the log book which are extremely helpful! Another quality product from Dragon Door. A+!

10/10 Above and beyond!

By Noel Price / Chicagoland, IL, U.S.A

Not JUST a log book. TONS of great and actually useful info. I really like to over complicate programming and data entries at times. And honestly, All one has to do is fill in the blanks... Well that and DO THE WORK. Great product.

10/10 The Ultimate Bodyweight Conditioning

By William Hayden / Winter Park, FL, USA

I have started to incorporate bodyweight training into my strength building when I am not going to the gym. At the age of 68, after 30 years in the gym the 'Convict Conditioning Log' is going to be a welcome new training challenge.

8/10 A unique training log

By Carter D / Cambridge, Canada

This log book is one of a kind in the world. It is the only published body weight exclusive training log I have personally seen. It is well structured and provides everything for a log book in a primarily body weight oriented routine. The book is best integrated with the other books in the convict conditioning series however has enough information to act as a stand alone unit. It is a must have for anyone who is a fan of the convict conditioning series or is entering into calisthenics.

10/10 WHEN YOUR SLACK GET SOME MOTIVATION

By kenneth peers / Hereford, u k

A great way to keep track of your training progress and a great read to help keep you motivated

10/10 Great help!

By Remco van Lokve / Eindhoven, Netherlands

Replacing my battered notebook with this glossy, high class log! Great small tips for big results and no bull log.

3/10 E-Book pdf boxes hard to find

By Jake S / San Diego, United States

It looks like a great log but in the e format it's very frustrating to use. The PDF fill in boxes are very hard to find and get to work properly I got the log to make life a little easier but I was not so lucky looking at the out line of where the boxes should be I'll have to click all around the box a couple of times before it can find it.

10/10 A must have to log your progressions

By Stephen Ventimiglia / Jamaica, NY, United States

A great log book that follows the Convict Conditioning series to help you achieve your personal best. I know that when I write down my results it motivates me to complete the next step. This log is worth the buy.

9/10 Good Layout - I modified it a bit

By Gary Crowley / Encinitas, California, United States

This training log is a great size, and generally I like the layout.
However, I fit one week's worth of workouts per page, tripling the life of the log, with my current level of workouts.
Under the first column labeled, "No." I note the level of each exercise I'm at (S1, S2, S3, etc.), then use the rest of the columns as recommended. Under each days workout I put a redline.
The next time I workout I use the same page, the same way.
The log is a bit pricey, but it's a good size and it's a very convenient layout that I can quickly reference my last workout for each exercise.
I'll buy it again when I fill this one up.
I have a picture of how I use the book, but there is no way to attach it to this review at the moment.
Best,
Gary Crowley

10/10 Fantastic logbook to keep records of your training

By Dave Zuijderwijk / Utrecht, Utrecht, The Netherlands

By keeping this log in the first place, I have come to enjoy my training much, much more!

It helps me in the first place to look back and write me my trainingsplan for the next day(-s) or week(-s) ahead.

It's really motivating to keep track of the gains you have made and also the sidenotes related to how you felt that day, what went very well and what went not so well.

I use these logs to keep track of my training at home. This involves bodyweight, kettlebells and powerlifting.

I have not found another logbook so simple and effici?nt as this one.

Thank you so much Coach wade and DragonDoor for designing and providing me with this amazing log.

Stay healthy and strong always!

With most kind regards, Dave Zuijderwijk, Utrecht, The Netherlands

7/10 Why recreate the wheel?

By Aaron Hascher / Southaven, Mississippi, USA

Sure you could design your own log on the computer or ledger book, but why. This log book is already formatted, but gives you enough ability to fill it in as you want.
