This program has it all...superb goal setting and lifestyle principles, sound nutritional advice and meal plans, and great workouts that will help you reach new levels of fitness fast! Using the Revolution Fat Loss Program, I have lost 7 pounds in 30 days, trimmed half inch from my chest, 1 inch from my waist, and 1 inch from my hips. I am a pear shaped female and have always struggled to trim inches from my lower body. This program has helped me to do that quickly. It is not often that you purchase a book that is easy to understand and allows you to take control immediately. I began the program 48 hours after receiving it. I do not have to constantly go back to reread sections. It is clear and to the point.

I purchased this for my wife since she likes to have a specific guide for her workouts (I also gave her Sarah Laurie's Iron Core DVD set). I think this is a great book, especially for someone getting started and learning how to form their own routines and put together a simple, yet balanced and effective diet. The examples are informative and simple and the workouts become progressively more challenging over the 12 weeks. This is a perfect book for anyone interested in learning how to use KB training to get leaner and improve conditioning.

 
4/10 Not the best source of excerises for use of a 8 kg (18 pound) kettlebell or less

The portion of the book that deals with nutrition and lifestyle is excellent. However, a major problem lies in the fact that it does not give anyone a clue as to how to choose the best kettlebell(s)for his/her fitness level.

I believe a lot of females who buy this book will be disappointed. Females who buy the book for fat loss kettlebell exercises will be disappointed. All exercises are shown with a 12kg kettlebell and all routines have a portion devoted to using TWO 12kg kettlebells - you cannot do these particular exercises with anything less than TWO 12kg kettlebells.

Most women starting out will not be able to handle a 12kg kettlebell safely, yet alone two of them!

I would highly recommend From Russia With Tough Love for any woman looking to get into the best shape of her life - it does not focus on 12kg kettlebells and does not focus on two kettlebell exercises.

I used kettlebells for a while, but had to stop during my recent pregnancy. This book has good food charts, if you are unaware of what types of foods to eat while trying to lose weight. I knew the workouts before reading this book, but found the common mistakes very helpfull. It seemed to be written more to help self-esteem, which was not what I was looking for. I think this book would be great for beginners and anyone who is not sure how to lose weight.

Franz and Yoana Snideman's REVOLUTION program is terrific. Its clearly outlined steps are easy to follow. I've just begun the program and am really enjoying it. In spite of the fact I only have one kettlebell, I didn't miss out on any of the exercises because they do offer alternate exercises that can be done with only one kettlebell, if necessary. I contacted the authors with several questions I'd had and they both responded quickly and answered my questions in detail. They were very willing to provide me with alternate exercises with one kettlebell as well as additional nutrition advice. The nutrition and lifestyle portions of the book are great. I'd highly recommend this book to anyone.

This is an excellent book on exercise and diet. The diet part of the book has really helped me in setting my goals. It has helped me to better understand the what to eat and what not to eat in my workout program.

The Snideman's have done a super job providing both an introductory as well as advance Kettlebell fitness program. The combination of excellent and easy to understand directions, coupled with visual aids provide a program that is easy and straight forward to follow.

Having progressed through many other forms of exercise, both my wife and I find that kettlebells provide a unique combination of both weight training and aerobic exercise.

Per review of the textbook I was disappointed with content nothing really new. Lots of info had complied from other products. KB text might be running their full cycle as far as new information. There are only so many ways one can present the subject of KB's and nutrition.

I just recieved the book yesterday and I must say that I am impressed. I have several kettlebell instructional DVD's and books, but this book shows you how to get motivated. They focus on your mind, body and spirit. The curcuit was a little different than say Iron Core or AOS. What I thought was the best part was the different levels of progression. This is lacking on other great products. I feel this 12 week program will prepare me for the longer and tougher curcuits of the other two Dvd's.

For someone who has done and taught the basics of Kettlebells I was not as impressed as I had hoped I would be with the book. Most of the exercises were a review of things I already knew. However I really liked all the corrections and things to look out for. That portion of the book was the most helpful. The food part of the book was interesting but not my main focus. I had hoped for more exercises. However the book was written well and the layout was great. I recommend this book for beginners.

Franz and Yoana's exercise and nutrition plan are easy to follow. I would highly recommend this book to the average kettlebell enthusiast looking to shed bodyfat as well as personal trainers guiding clients through fat loss. An excellent resource!!
