Suzanne Marsteller, Virginia Beach, VA, Law Enforcement

Athletic Achievements College soccer, law enforcement response team

Well worth the time and effort. Although the instruction was phenomenal, the energy and excitement from the students was awesome and really mirrored the passion the staff exuded. Loved it.

Dafna Hayman, Newton, MA, Personal Trainer

Athletic Achievements ACE CPT, ACE group fitness, FMS II, RKC I, Israeli Air Force

This was a great introduction to bodyweight training. I feel it gave me the right tools to start programming calisthenics into my own workouts as well as my clients. The energy in the room was amazing. Such an awesome sense of togetherness and support. Participants encouraged each other to push harder and were truly happy to witness one another’s success. The instructors made everybody feel comfortable and excited to be there. So many great minds in one room and all were generous with their knowledge. A fantastic experience.

Al and Danny set the atmosphere at the start of the day and maintained that great energy throughout. Their knowledge, experience and willingness to share made everybody feel good about stepping out of their comfort zone. They created a safe place to try, fail, and succeed. The assisting instructors were fantastic. They were extremely helpful, friendly and experienced.  There were no “big egos” in the room. Just big personalities with a lot of knowledge and love for their trade. A real pleasure.

I felt the SCC was a high quality certification. As intended, it was an entry level certification and I would have liked to delve deeper into each segment. It made me want to work toward my PCC.

Mathieu Sawatzky, Winnipeg, Canada, Fitness Instructor and Server

Athletic Achievements 2 Triathlon Provincial Titles, 3 Cross Country Provincial Titles, 3 Track Provincial Titles, IFL MFC Certified (pending), CanFit Pro Certified (pending)

It was hands down the most informative fitness course I have ever taken. The Kavadlo brothers as well as the rest of the instructors were amazingly friendly, intelligent, and willing to break it down as far as each person needed. Even the rest of the participants were awesome and helped create a very friendly, open and fun atmosphere.

Al and Danny were amazingly intelligent, friendly and down to earth. Hands down the best teachers I’ve ever encountered in the fitness industry.  Angelo Gala was quiet but when he talked it was always important. He was patient and super friendly as well.

Adrian Harrington, Ireland

The SCC was an amazing introduction to bodyweight training and the methods involved in training and coaching others. The exercises covered were all explained in extremely accurate progressions and regressions that made the course fun and so informative.

All the instructors have such a wealth of knowledge and wisdom. Their positive mindsets really encouraging you to try and improve yourself as well as your clients reach their fitness potential.

Clear. Amazing procedures and methods. Top class course. Nothing offers the same amount of knowledge and experience provided by the SCC group.

Lee Montgomery, Newark, NJ, Performance Coach

Athletic Achievements NASM-CPT, NASM-PES, USAW-SPC, MovNat-MCT, CrossFit CF-L1

The SCC is a remarkable opportunity to learn alongside other, like-minded enthusiasts. As a result, the energy and camaraderie easily made this one of the top two certification courses I’ve ever attended in the 15 years of working in this industry.

Matt Schifferle, Littleton, CO, Personal Trainer

Athletic Achievements 5th degree black belt Taekwon-Do, PCC, Founder of the Red Delta Project

The SCC teaches you a depth of understanding you simply cannot gain from a video or printed word. It launches your practice further in one day than you would accomplish on your own in one year.

All instructors were very clear and direct in their instruction. There were no boring lectures or complex jargon to sift through.

Like the PCC, the SCC was the most helpful and applicable source of information regarding using and teaching calisthenics. The PCC and SCC are the best calisthenics certification hands down.

Jay Armstrong, Houston, TX, Senior RKC

Athletic Achievements 7th Degree Black Belt TKD, Senior RKC, Master Z-Health Trainer, FMS

This is a terrific, fun, and motivating introduction to the world of calisthenics and bodyweight training. Danny and Al Kavadlo know this material like the back of their hands and will help inspire all in attendance.

The SCC provides a high level of hands on training but is well tailored to the strength and fitness levels of the attendees. Both the novice and the advanced practitioner will find a wealth of exceptional take-aways.

One of the biggest problems created by today’s modern society is the adverse adaptive changes caused by all the time spent seated in cars and at computer workstations. Many of the exercises covered in this workshop are just the “drug” we need to cure our society from this epidemic.

Cesar Gutierrez, Clifton, NJ, Firefighter

Athletic Achievements U.S. Army Retired

The SCC was awesome. Each instructor was able to provide me with a tip, cure or adjustment that made the movements better and more effective.

I like the emphasis on quality over quantity that was present throughout the entire SCC. The scope of the material was ideal for a one-day cert and provided a lot to work up to, if you follow the progressions in the manual.

Thomas Spadoni, Hope, RI, Carpentry Teacher

Athletic Achievements 1/2 iron distance triathlon finisher, Sub 4 hour marathon finisher, Various obstacle course races

I loved it! Didn’t want it to end.

The certification was top notch. From the very beginning when Danny spoke and gave an overview of the day. He was correct in saying we walk in as strangers, walk out as friends.  This is the first cert. of this type for me, as I am not in the “business of personal training”, hell I hate the gym, but Love Calisthenics, and loved the SCC. If you where on the fence with the PCC, commit to the SCC. You won’t be disappointed.

Jill Cheong, New York, NY, Finance

Athletic Achievements aspiring trainer

Amazing! I had a PR for Cossack squat! Couldn’t do it for a long time.

As a finance professional aka “zombie behind desk”, I wish I can turn back time and be more exposed to bodyweight training, to the importance of fundamentals, squats, push up, pull up! Instead of mindless workouts in the past years that the quality of the workout is defined by how much sweat and not by strength, mobility, flexibility, all encompassing in one word - CALISTHENICS!  Spread the word to the masses!

Henry Nolden, Fairfax, VA, Teacher, Grad Student

Athletic Achievements Orange belt in Tang Soo Do, Minor in Criminal Justice, Certified as a security officer by G4S, Self-taught in basic calisthenics proficiency.

I had a fantastic time meeting everyone from RKC and PCC, and getting to learn from their experience.  Their patience, knowledge and enthusiasm was invaluable.

I’m entirely self-taught, so simply having the opportunity to get real-time feedback and critiques was priceless.

Robert Rakowski, League City, TX, Chiropractor

Athletic Achievements Black Belt Taekwondo, HKC kettle bell certification

This is incredibly valuable for every type and level of athlete. Everyone can get better and stronger by honoring those progressions.

Every instructor was knowledgeable, friendly, fit and strong. They all earn a 5 star rating.

This is as good of a 1 day course as I have ever taken.

Kendall Smith, Kalona, IA, House Mover

Athletic Achievements High School and College football. Led the team in tackles.

One of the most amazing training experiences I have been apart of. There was a lot of knowledge packed in, but it was fun and easy to follow.

The quality of training and knowledge of the instructors were amazing. Everyone was clear and easy to understand.

It is the best I have used or tried. It was easy to follow but very knowledgeable.

Andre Padin, Margate, FL

SCC is a perfect introduction for accomplishing your basic calisthenics needs. All the coaches are well versed in formal and informal applications of functional movements.

Don Thomas, West Babylon, NY, Personal Trainer

Athletic Achievements NASM CPT, Background in JU JITSU, Law enforcement

My experience at SCC was simply amazing! It gave me a greater understanding of the mechanics of exercises I viewed as ‘basic’ only to find out I’ve been performing them all wrong.

Both Al and Danny were very knowledgeable on the material. They gave the class a real feel of comfort. The way they broke down exercises and progressions/regressions was phenomenal. They gave me much needed confidence going into the fitness field.

James Bourdette, Staten Island, NY, Martial Artist

Athletic Achievements World Martial Arts Center, 2nd Black Tip Tae Kwon Do, Competitor in 1988 Tae Kwon Do Olympic Elimination Competition Former Apprentice Instructor, Big Sean Madigan's Combative Solutions - March 14, 2003, FOCUS Personal Training Institute Certification for completion of Personal Training Theory & Application Course - July 12, 2013, Chum Kil Level Student of Michael Militano Wing Chun Kung Fu -2013

The SCC workshop has a clear cut precise layout that anyone new to calisthenics could comprehend. Even if you are seasoned in exercise there are always ways to improve on the basics and the SCC proves it!

George Chung, Seattle, WA, Software Developer

Athletic Achievements Just a regular fitness junkie

It’s been a fantastic step in a never ending journey. SCC shares a lot of common themes with yoga, and I really appreciate and respect the emphasis on body awareness, form, and technique. I believe it’s an essential part of living and experiencing a great life.

I thought everyone was great. Very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed meeting everyone.

I think SCC is going to be the foundation of everything I do moving forward as it relates to health and fitness. I aspire to go to a PCC. I also want to do an RKC.

Robert Rimoczi, München, Germany

The perfect amount of information for a one day bodyweight training cert, with the best manual ever.

Marco Girolami, New Brunswick, NJ, IT Director

Great understanding of the “training tools” (the exercises). Great environment, exciting and friendly a good way to meet people hear experience and training tips

I got tips/corrections from all the instructors. Everything was great on this side.
