Originally from Va. Beach, VA my personal experience in strength training began in high school, as a multi-sport athlete involved in soccer, swimming and competitive cheerleading. Weight training at that point was foreign so I just did what the guys did! My competitive nature took over and I wanted to lift as much as I could (looking back a bad idea, but oh well). I continued to develop, change bad habits, and refine my training over many years. After college I spent 9 years coaching various levels of women's soccer, and participating in triathlons....this is where I really developed a passion for working in the weight room and conditioning my athletes, as well as myself. Fast-forward a few more years and enter my husband, who sharing all of his knowledge, passion, and experience of strength & conditioning, I have learned A TON thanks to him! I continuously read and gather current information in the industry, as well as work on my own programs. After receiving my Hardstyle Kettlebell Certification, I jumped right in and began teaching 2-3 times per week! I am not only passionate about teaching our classes but also my full-time job as a high school math teacher. Spending time with my husband Patrick (outside of the gym), our two daughters, and our sweet fur baby Camden is what makes my days amazing...and being near the water :)Originally from Va.
