Sean brings over a decade of experience in health, wellness, rehab, and training to the Lab. As a competitive athlete in gymnastics and wrestling, Sean developed a passion for studying human performance at an early age.
As a Sports Medicine student at Kean University, Sean worked with Kean’s Men’s Soccer and Women’s Softball teams. Sean learned from and publicly presented alongside longtime mentor Chris Flores of FLO Fitness. During this time, he worked alongside legendary figures in Boxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and college wrestling. Some of their most popular presentations included "Injury Prevention in Gymnastics training," "Hip Mobility for Combat Athletes," and "Anti-Rotational Training for Sports."
After graduating Cum Laude with his BS in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training, Sean began treating and training professional football athletes in Edison, New Jersey. When he wasn’t in the clinic he was providing onsite medical coverage for state championship football program Mater Dei Prep High School.
When Sean isn’t assessing, treating, and training athletes at the Lab, he is providing on site athletic training and injury prevention coverage for St. Joseph By the Sea High School in Staten Island, NY. Sean has helped pilot a program for team assessments intended to identify athletes at a high-risk for injury and incorporating injury prevention protocols with a great margin of success.
Sean is a licensed Athletic Trainer in NY and NJ state, a nationally certified Functional Strength Coach, Functional Movement Taping Therapist, Russian Kettle bell Instructor, and a regular contributor to US News and Business Insider.
