Ryan is currently training towards completing the Beast Tamer Challenge. He specializes in training 1:1 clients, group classes, and working with sports teams. When Ryan isn't busy training clients or teaching classes you can find him outside biking, hiking, rollerblading, rock climbing, playing rugby, or swinging his kettlebell around.

10/10 Workout with Ryan!

Ryan is a very assured, talented, and sensible trainer. Typically personal training sessions can be intimidating because the trainer has a pre-set plan that sometimes may be difficult for the trainee. Ryan listens to all of your needs before the session and adjusts every individual workout to cater to your goals + needs. This should seem obvious. Ryan is the best personal trainer I have ever been to and I plan on working with him in the future. He exudes passion and charisma in every interaction, which makes it even better. If you are hesitant to try personal training, Ryan is the perfect guy for you - highly recommend.

I have worked with Ryan in both class settings and one-on-one training. As a coach and personal trainer, he is extremely dedicated and creative. He takes time to understand your goals and creates a program unique to you. The sessions are always different and never boring. Ryan takes the time to understand your capabilities and when he sees you are getting comfortable, pushes you to the next level by providing modifications to make your workout as challenging as possible. Ryan truly cares about his clients and has an energy level that is off the charts!

I used to be the person that dreaded working out and going to the gym. I had little to no motivation and was intimidated by all the equipment options. I started working with Ryan and my fitness did a complete 180. He showed me equipment that I’d never used, was patient throughout the whole process and was so positive and encouraging when I felt like quitting. 10/10 I wish I had heard of ProFitness Training sooner

From the time I was in college (about a decade ago), I've always had a deep admiration and respect for kettlebell training. I had a fantastic instructor in those days, but over the years, I stopped training and didn't think I would find an instructor of that caliber again. Wow, was I wrong! As soon as my wife and I started KB training again at ProFitness, (with Kurt Hartmann and Ryan Wied), I quickly discovered the level of EXCELLENCE that is built into their program. I used to have a lot of back problems, but through their small-class training format, they were able to tailor-fit a program for me that would quickly (and safely!) strengthen my back and prevent any future injuries. And it's worked wonderfully! I've recommended ProFitness to my own family well as anyone else who cares to listen to me rave about it.
