Steve Maxwell's Joint Mobility Recharge™ program is an approach to the functionality of the body that is far removed from the idea of flexibility for it's own sake. Instead, he teaches dynamic mobility that can keep the body able to participate in the activities of life.
In his 30 years experience as a personal trainer for the general population, grappling instructor, and strength and conditioning coach Steve has seen three major causes for the loss of functionality in the human body; age, injury, and inactivity. Steve had, like most athletes who have had more than a few years of competition, a history of insults and injuries to his body, everything from the standard joint sprains to a broken neck when he was in high school. The prognosis was that he could never grapple again. That was more than 30 years and 2 world titles in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ago.
As the years progressed, Steve saw his mobility declining and knew that this would impair his performance in sports and life, but he rejected Yoga as a solution. He saw Yoga as another discipline that he would have to take the time to practice and become proficient at. And yet, he had to find some solution to the increasing pain and stiffness that was impairing him.
Steve began his unofficial mission to develop a program of mobility that was effective, simple, and could produce immediate results for anyone, without having to become "good" at it.
Steve Maxwell's Joint Mobility Recharge™ routines are simple but effective movements that can retain the body's current range of motion, or regain what has been lost to age, injury, or inactivity.
Steve Maxwell's routines will:
- Break up joint salts and calcium deposits that cause pain during movement.
