10/10 Dedicated Instructor who knows his stuff!!!
By Don and Sam Delaria
/ Fuquay Varina, NC
My son and I have worked with Tim for over two years now. The results have been fantastic. My son plays high level 4A baseball and will be playing college ball this year on scholarship.I credit Tim with 90% of making this happen. My son is stonger both physically and mentally. The confidence that comes along with working with Tim is worth its weight in GOLD. Tim is also big on nutrition, and knows what and how to eat, and what healthy supplements to use. I would recommend Tim to anyone who wants results and the confidence that comes along with working with an expert. In additon, Tim is a person of high character and fun to be around.
10/10 Awesome Instructor
By Katie Clark
/ Fuquay-Varina, N.C.
I have been training with Tim for almost seven months. He has helped me not only to become physically stronger, but mentally stronger as well. Before working out with Tim I hated to exercise, now I actually look forward to it. He is extremely knowledgable in diet and exercise and is a very motivational teacher.
10/10 Best Rehab!
By Addie Anderson
/ Fuquay-Varina, NC
As Tim's wife, I'm biased about his instruction skills; however, I have to write what my kettlebell training experience has done for me, especially since I have a unique health situation. I have a horrible back. I wore back braces for scoliosis during middle school and part of high school. The braces left me very inflexible and weak. Every summer since those braces, I haven't been able to get up on one ski (deep water start) at the lake - my back just couldn't handle the drag, year after year. There were other things I couldn't do, but this one bothered me the most! In my mid twenties, I worked out very regularly at the gym (traditional exercises), and I thought I was in the best shape of my life. For one time one summer, I actually pulled out of the water on a slalom ski - it was so hard to hang on to the rope, but I did it. Then within a 3 year time span, I had two kids, and then became extremely ill - hospitalized for almost a month. I lost half a lung and a section of a rib bone, plus my lat muscle was cut during surgery. At 5'11", I wasted away to 112 lbs. The last two years since my surgery have been a slow climb back up to a normal weight, and I've always considered myself in rehab mode ever since. Now, for the last 6 months, I've been training with kettlebells - swings, snatches, windmills and side presses. My back has felt the most flexible and stable than it has in years, not to mention I've made the best progress rehabbing my surgery site (shoulder and lat area). This past week at the annual lake trip, I decided to try to slalom ski starting in the deep water. I pulled right up on the second try - and it wasn't even that hard to handle the drag! I was on cloud nine! After the surgery I've been through, plus with the loss of so much muscle mass through the healing process, I never really imagined my core and upper body would have the strength that it used to have at what I thought was its prime. I still don't have all of my muscle mass back, but I'm so much more flexible than I've ever been, and I know how to use what muscle I have. I'm thrilled with the results of my kettlebell training!
10/10 Excellent Instructor for old and young trainees.
By Joe Conway
/ Concord, NC
As an older trainee (i.e., 60 years of age) with a bad hip, I received excellent instruction from Tim Anderson. He was able to address my problem and offer KB exercises to strengthen and rehabilitate my hip. During my session with Tim, he was able to offer insights into the KB exercises that I could not have gotten from books or DVDs. Also, partaking in the session with Tim was a younger trainee (i.e., 22 years of age). Tim addressed that trainees problems also so that we both got maximum benefits from the session. I highly recommend Tim as a KB trainer, no matter what your age or training experience.
10/10 I drive 3 hours one way!
By Ben Gibson
/ Charlotte, NC
Tim helped me work off my college weight, educate me about my body,
strength, and movement, allowed me to meet my fitness goals for my
wedding, and is now continuing to work with me to stay in excellent
shape for my career as a firefighter. Needless to say, Tim will work
with you tirelessly to be successful at reaching any of your fitness
goals. His passion and knowledge is contagious; it leaves me hungry for more and I firmly believe that his teaching will forever help me.
As a side note, I would also like to mention that I live in Charlotte
and found Tim's training to be so beneficial that driving 3 hours one
way has never been a question because the two hours spent learning from
him is priceless.
10/10 The Best Workout Program
By Bryan Stephenson
/ Raleigh, NC
Tim developed for me what is hands down, the best workout program I have ever used. At first, to be honest, I was hesitant about working with a personal trainer, but Tim proved to be a great guy and one who has a knack for physical training. I have noticed tremendous changes in my body build and in how I feel everyday. Tim is very knowledgeable of the human body and has helped me a lot with balance, coordination, flexibility, and strength. I thoroughly enjoy working with Tim and look forward to working with him more!
10/10 Off to a great start...
By Noel
/ Raleigh, NC
Training with Tim was a great experience from the very beginning.
I received an unusually quick response to my email inquiring about his service. He listened patiently as I explained my training goal (to learn proper kettlebell technique) and he didn't mind at all that I wasn't looking for long-term training. He was flexible about working around my limited schedule and managed to work me in with very short notice.
Our first session went surprisingly well. I'm not very athletic and have a hard time learning new movements and physical skills. I anticipated we'd both feel some frustration but he explained and demonstrated everything so clearly that I had no difficulty understanding what to do and why. There wasn't a single question I had that he didn't answer clearly and with as much detail as I wanted.
On a less technical note, he was very good at putting me at ease. I had never done personal training before and was a little self-conscious about my lack of fitness. Within just a few minutes I was relaxed and having fun. His enthusiasm and love for kettlebells is contagious. I should also mention that his facility was easy to find and very clean and comfortable.
I'm already looking forward to my next session.
10/10 Working with Tim is a blast!!!
By Lason Perkins
/ Cary, NC
I have had the pleasure of working with Tim a few sessions and he has a natural talent for teaching, as well as a passion for what he does. I even brought a member of my coaching staff to train with him so that we could use KBs in our high school basketball program. I plan to get back with him on a regular basis and I look forward to gains I know I am going to get by working out with him.
10/10 Great Trainer
By Lauren
/ Fuquay-Varina, NC
Tim introduced me to Kettlebells about 8 weeks ago and now I've found a workout that I love to do. Tim has so much knowledge and patience. He'll work on the same move over and over until your form is perfect and it becomes second nature. Not only has Tim been a great Kettlebell intructor but he also helped me adjust my eatting habits so I'm making healthier choices for myself and family. Tim is a very well-rounded instructor and I look forward to learning more from him in the future.
10/10 No More Knee Pain While Running
By Trey B.
/ Fuquay Varina, NC
I went to see Tim because I wanted to run a half marathon without experiencing any knee pain which always seemed to stop me dead in my tracks around 10 miles. Not only am I running faster, stronger and further than ever but the knee pain has subsided because Tim showed me how "it all fits together" and the kettlebell training helped me strengthen areas of my body that I had no idea were so critical to running and healthly living overall. Before I would have never considered running a full marathon but now I believe it is possible.
