10/10 A coach who is the master against whom other trainers must be judged

Thiago was referred to me by my previous trainer who left being a personal trainer to manage a group of gyms. He said "I picked the best trainer I could to replace me". Thiago very quickly assessed my strengths and weaknesses and crafted a program for me to fit my individual needs of poor balance, tight muscles, and less than perfect posture. He continues to modify the program whether it be indoors or outdoors supplying all manner of things (medicine ball, weights, foam roller, pulleys) to achieve our goals. He is a very kind, patient and a great friend as well as an unbelievable personal trainer. Thiago figures out what motivates me and doesn't get bored as would be so easy to do. He even created a booklet of exercises in flip cards to act as a guide for the drill I need to master to keep in great shape. I could go on and on but simply put, Thiago is the best and as I said above is the master trainer against whom other trainers must be judged.

I met Thiago in 2002 when he was working for a gym and not yet on his own as an independent trainer. I was working out with him for a few years and then was not able to because of a series of surgeries on my hips and knee. Fortunately, I was able to find him again. He is without a doubt the most educated, thoughtful and experienced trainer I have ever worked with (over 40 years of training). Because of my surgeries and arthritis problems in all of my joints, I have needed a trainer who has the intelligence, creativity and flexibility to adapt on a daily basis to my specific needs. With Thiago, I never feel as though I am not being pushed as hard as I can to become as strong as possible in ways that keep me motivated and happy.
Most of all, working with Thiago is fun. He has a great sense of humor but never lets me off the hook. He is a person of enormous integrity and never stops trying to learn and improve his repertoire and knowledge base. In short, he is the best of the best.

I have been working with Thiago for over a year, and he continues to motivate me and inspire me to do better. We were both former soccer players, so he knows how to bring out my competitve nature and make training more like a fun sport than a chore! He is constantly educating himself and evolving my workouts, which keeps things exciting. He also is aware of my past injuries and works rehab into my workouts. Thiago goes above and beyond to not only push me during our sessions together, but to provide me with various workouts to do on my own. He is extremely dedicated to my progress and I've never had a trainer who cared so much about the outcome of each workout and achieving my personal goals. He has also introduced me to kettlebell training, which has become my favorite workout and has really changed my body. I am the most fit I have been in years and best of all, I am finally enjoying working out again!! Thiago is by far the best trainer I've ever had, I don't know what I'd do without him!!

I had the good fortune of meeting Thiago Passos through my friend and respected trainer Don Saladino. Thiago and I have been working together for about a year. With thanks to Don, I sort of feel as if I hit the jackpot of all trainers!

Aside from Thiago's calm, focused and reassuring disposition, he's highly educated and has a thorough understanding of anatomy, diet, exercise and metabolics. What I found immediately appealing was his academic approach his interest in me not only doing but more importantly understanding. A consistent theme to our workouts is the importance of learning so that I can train independently with confidence and regularity. Thiago is not the disingenuous, generic type to blindly lead clients along to pass the hour. His time with you is substantive, yet in return, he expects the same level of excellence whatever that may be to the individual. Physical health and well being is his goal for all.

Our training is advanced. Because Thiago is a self motivator, he brings to our sessions new routines and imagination so that our time together is fresh and dynamic. I knew through Don that Thiago specialized in kettle bells, which I always hesitated to use having suffered shoulder injuries and recovered from reconstruction surgery. Thiago slowly introduced them into our time establishing confidence, and now I use them as an integral, fun part of my time in the gym! The cardio factor kettle bells bring is unbelievable and there's the inevitable huge benefit to your body-- staying slim and feeling strong. Differences I saw and appreciated in a very short time!

Thiago's steadfast commitment and unlimited willingness to give of himself to each of his clients is unusual and rare to find. The support he provides goes far and beyond what is expected and necessary. Thiago is on a successful professional journey. I'm lucky that I have been a small part of his career and am able to learn from this great teacher.

I have been trainig with Thiago for a few years. Before I met Thiago I have had intimidating trainers, uneducated trainers and careless and boring ones. Thiago's kind,calm and caring disposition make him stand out among all, and his knowledge of anatomy and function of human body is quite impressive .
I consider myself lucky to have met Thiago . I do look forward to the new work outs and his instructions on diet and exercise to do on my own. I can go on about Thiago but in short he is a wonderful person, agreat listener and the best trainer there is .
We all love him.

 
10/10 The type of trainer everyone seeks but is nearly impossible to find

After reading about an exclusive kettlebell workout that celebrities were raving about, I was thrilled to learn that Thiago is an expert in working with them. It took about two weeks to feel the difference kettlebells had had on my overall body strength, and only a few weeks more to actually see the results! Thiago is extremely knowledgeable and thoroughly understands the mechanics behind kettlebell training, he has truly helped me, and continues to help me, develop the body I have always dreamed of.
