I am a qualified karate instructor and 3rd dan black belt in shotokan karate (KUGB). Martial arts led me to train with kettlebells in 2002, in 2007 I qualified as an RKC and an RKCII in 2011. I work as an assistant professor at Kuwait University and hold a PhD in biomedical sciences (University of Leeds, 2003). If you would like to gain an edge in your chosen sport or simply improve your current level of fitness with kettlebells, contact me to arrange either a training session or a workshop.

9/10 New and effective way to fitness train

By Krister Holland / Slough, England

I found Suleiman's training techniques to be most effective. His systematic training regime meant that, as a complete beginner to Kettlebells I was able to progress to a fairly good standard (I was even asked if I wanted to compete). I thoroughly enjoyed the training sessions and I continue to use my Kettlebells on a regular basis as part of my training regime. I have noticed a considerable improvement to my fitness especially my strength and stamina over the last 4 months. I would highly recommend Suleiman whatever your fitness level.

9/10 Clear, easy and brilliant

By Tamas Herold / Reading, UK

One of the most effective ways of improving fitness, stamina and strength. In the same time you'll lose serious amount of fat in a very short period of time.
Under Suleiman's careful eyes you'll learn the perfect techniques explianed clearly and simply without using any difficult terminology. Suleiman shows everything first so the exercises are very easy to pick up.
The only thing I can do is to HIGHLY RECOMMEND Suleiman to everyone who would like to change the "size of life" very quickly without spending a lot of time with boring activities such as running.

10/10 A remarkable instructor and human being!

By Pradeep Sankar / Kuwait, Kuwait

I am a toddler when it comes to weights training and even more so when it comes to kettle bells. In fact, I did not even know that there was something called a kettle bell when one of my friends told me that he was doing KB training with Suleiman.

I wanted to give it a try and should say that I am truly glad that I did that ‘cos I got the opportunity to be under the tutelage of a remarkable instructor and human being. I have been training under Suleiman for the last 8 months and the most striking feature about him, over and above his profound knowledge of KB workouts and the human physiology, is his immense patience and humble demeanor.

He is an amazing instructor who aims at developing an individual’s strength and stamina in a progressive manner, giving a lot of emphasis to safety and technique. His ability to break down even the toughest of KB workouts to small sequences to help you get the right technique is wonderful.

I wish him all the best in his future endeavors and am really happy to have come in contact with an amazing instructor and a remarkable human being!

10/10 Al helped me changed my view on fitness..and life.

By Cajetan Barretto / Kuwait City, Kuwait

I first got interested in Kettle-bells by watching Youtube videos, and posted my experience on my fitness blog. Suleiman happened to read it and suggested we meet up, to review my experience with Kettle-bells.

On the very first meeting, I came to the painful conclusion that
1. I know nothing about Kettle-bells, and
2. Trying to emulate highly technical workouts by observing YouTube videos might be very detrimental to my health in the long run.

It's been more than 1 year that I have been working under the very close eye of Suleiman. As others have mentioned, Suleiman prioritizes form over everything else. And this is understandable considering that Kettle-bells is highly technical. Wrong execution can result in serious injuries.

Working with Suleiman has changed the way I look at fitness, and healthy life-style in general. I thank him for all his tireless effort, and I wanted to rate him 11 out of 10 - like in Spinal Tap, but the review doesn't allow me to give this rating.

P.S: He is also a very funny guy.

10/10 Comrades! This man is the real deal.

By Mathew Jacob / Kuwait City, Kuwait

I've known Suleiman for about a year now and in that time he’s made a major change in my physical and mental condition .

My very first kettlebell class didn’t go very well and I was sure that I would quit after the first session but Suleiman's patience and gentle way of coaching was very encouraging and soon saw me making progress through the RKC exercises.

He is a very down to earth person. His knowledge of Human biochemistry and physiology is an awesome combo when it comes to extracting the best out of you when training.

He has an eye for detail and explains the 'subtleties' in each kettlebell workout and quickly corrects us whenever we make a mistake. I wish him all success for future RKC challenges.

10/10 Rare Relaxed Excellence in Reading

By mc / UK

I've had the privilege of working with Al now a few times. First off, his form in all the kb and related moves, is an obvious priority. To see him execute so well you know he knows (and cares to know) his stuff. Second, the way he demonstrates these moves is also rich with detail. But in particular what i've benefited from with Al is the way he listens to a training plan sticking point and is able to make a timely suggestion to get through it. The suggestion is done as well with empathy: he understands the issue - and the at times attendant frustration - and so gears the proposed approach to support that. Listening rather than just *telling* you "oh if you want to press a million pounds do BLAH"

So if you want a smart guy who is humble in his excellence, and LISTENS to where you're at in your training and helps you build from there, seek out Al. You'll be happy you did - and even happier every day after you put into practice his suggestions as you break through those sticking points.
