10/10 Over a year of Superjoints

By Gemini80 / Mayfield, NY USA

I was just starting to toward what I thought was the inevitable point in an athletic person's life when you find yourself saying things like, "I just can't get away with that anymore," and "I never used to feel like this after doing that," and other such things. I had somehow lost that youthful resilience I used to enjoy. Then I found Superjoints. I am not exaggerating when I say that I have managed to trick my joints into thinking they are seventeen again! It is the best way to start off your day. I go from groggy, foggy and stiff to caged lion ready to pounce on something in about twenty minutes! Every day! Out of all I've learned from Pavel's books and videos, this was probably the most valuable. Thanks again, Pavel!

10/10 An Owners Manual for Your Aging Joints

By Steve Freides / New Jersey, USA

If you're over 40, this is must-read material. If you ever wondered how to warmup before strenuous exercise, the routines you need are right here. My body works better than it did 20 years ago and I thank Pavel and Super Joints for that.

The older we get, the more important preventative maintenance of our bodies becomes. Performing the movements in Super Joints is like giving your engine an oil change - if you do it right, you won't notice, but neglect it and it might cause serious damage.

Super Joints is vintage Pavel - enough explanation to let you understand the thinking behind the exercises, but mostly short, to the point, no-nonsense instructions that you know will work for you. I cannot recommend Super Joints highly enough - like I said, a must-read for anyone over 40.

9/10 Super Joints for mobile and functional body

By Com. Jussi / Finland

I have been following Super Joints for one and half years as morning recharge type of exercise. It really wakes up my body and I feel mobile and fluid for the rest of the day. I also got rid of occasional minor pains I had in my back and neck. As a bonus I got quite flexible by just following Super Joints and I got about 4 inches away from full splits. In last two months by combining Super Joints belly dancing, cossack stretches and split switches and RIS PFN split stretches I made my way to full front side and roadkill splits. Thank you Pavel for a great product!

9/10 Another Winner

By Mike Griffith / Orange, Calif.

As this is the eighth book I have purchased by Pavel I know just what to expect and Super Joints didn't disappoint. Each of his books filled an area of expertise that I needed info on. Well written and to the point.

10/10 Feel as young as you'd like

By Mark Hanington / Huntington Beach, California United States

Pavel does it again. Follow his techniques which are outlined in this easy to understand book and you will not have to worry about creaking through life. Add life to your years. This book shows you how to easily do the required preventative maintenance to keep all of your joints working smoothly. It is also great for rehabilitating problem areas such as rotator cuffs. If you want to avoid problems with your joints, the solution is within your reach. Pavel will tell you the rest.

10/10 Amazing results!

By Josef / Ashville, AL USA

When I started at my job a couple of months ago, I had been talking to one of the cooks one night and told her about mobility training. I explained the details of it and, after teaching her how to squat properly, didn't mention it again. But just recently I found out that she's been keeping up with her mobility training and it's worked wonders. She's had such bad knees that she's had to wear knee braces for twenty years and she hasn't had to wear them due to her improved joint health. There are similar stories coming from the servers with bad backs after I taught them about decompression hangs with three plane movements.

10/10 Easy to use with Powerful results!

By Donald Berry, D.C. / Frederick MD

As a chiropractor and martial art instructor, I began incorporating the simple excercises with my patients and students. Everyone loves them, great results and easy to do. Pavel's explanations are very clear and the excecises are well illustrated, so it's easy to follow.

10/10 Immediate results!

By Mike Holidy (BlackBeltMedic) / Modesto, CA USA

While the info in the book may not be groundbreaking, as always Pavel has it all laid out very nicely. Informative yet easy to read and understand and even Pavel's little humorous bits here and there. What I find amazing about the info provided is how well it works. I literally just started SJ about a week ago and already can feel a difference in my day. Better yet, I feel the difference even before my "morning recharge" is done. Given my martial arts, sports and weightlifting background it's incredibly difficult to imagine that I never gave much thought to the importance of joint mobility, focusing solely on muscular flexibility. Like so many others, though, I guess it's just how I always learned/was taught. Better late than never, though. The info here, at times, is so simple you wonder how you never thought of it previously. No matter what, though, this program works. It works very well. To me that is all that matters. Period.

10/10 Superjoints.

By Paul Paradis / Tacoma, WA, USA

Having had several months to acquaint myself with Paul Wade and his phenomenal approach to physical development, I had one of those moments of intuition when I saw this book and Relax into Stretch and knew they were going to become necessary additions. In some ways, they have already started to assume their own stature in my life.

For CC people, think of this book as a graduate level dissertation on the joint circling protocols outlined in CC2. On top of that, a couple of courses on improving one's posture are embedded within the pages as well.

Though I've only owned Relax into Stretch and Superjoints for a couple of weeks, my body is already even more pain free and properly loose than what I have currently achieved with the two volumes of CC alone. I look forward to the upcoming year, a part of which will be devoted to mastering and internalizing the methods and routines in this book and in Relax. I am expecting great things.

10/10 Excellent

By rb75 / Camp Pendleton, CA

The Cossacks and Switch Splits did more for my kickboxing than any amount of stretching.

8/10 Help for old joints

By Tim Daley / Orange county California, USA

I am a physical therapist with almost 40 years experience in orthopedics and sports medicicne. I always try to find new sources of inpiration for my patients so they can heal faster and enjoy life more. Super Joints is an excelllent example of using a different approach to flexibility from the Russian school of physical culture. The book has concise instructions and photographs to make the work easy to understand. I also appreciate the humor that Pavel brings to the writing. I've started using some the stretches in our womens weight training classes along with some of the kettlebell work. The ladies love the idea that they are using different and tougher exercises for their fitness work. Thanks for the inspiration.

10/10 Rulers, Carrots and Swords- Way of the Warrior?

By Eric / South Africa

I'm only 20 but was given to lying on the couch now for a majority of time of maybe a year.. Want to see the body deteriorate on an athlete-by-blood 20 year old? Hips, knees, stiff shoulders and a weak back..

Now it's as if that crankiness works itself from my inside out, the discomfort moves from elbow to wrist and hips to ankles and then vanishes! I always thought the "schoolgirl book on the head" posture was painful and unnatural but that's exactly what I have! In a week!

Will get my samurai sword next christmas...

10/10 I used this for rehab and now for active recovery

By Mark Hancheroff / Redmond, WA

I had to stop lifting for a while with an injury, and this in combination with the dragondoor Reilient DVD were a perfect match for getting myself active while I couldn't lift I continue to useit now for warmups and active recovery inbetween sets. Fantastic!

9/10 Great Book - For the Instructor or the At-Home Athlete

By Brandon Nugent / Campbell, CA USA

This is an excellent resource for someone trying to get an understanding on solid, stretching and mobility techniques. As an RKC instructor and multisport coach, I start all my workouts with excerpts from Super Joints. Mobility drills, strength moves, we use it all.

The really cool thing - no injuries. PR's have gone up and my clients love me.

Get this book. Learn something. Heal Thyself!

3/10 Not impressed

By Steven Goodwin / Gothenburg, Other Sweden

Any one having trained any form of martial arts knows everything in this book. Total waste of money:-(

7/10 great book for beginners

By Anonymous / Tel Aviv Israel

I am a long time martial art student and a conditioning fan. I found the advice in this book to be sound and to the point. It is a very good read for the novice and has some tips for the advanced students too. The price is very high and that serves the only down side I see in this package.

8/10 A good reference book.

By Andrew / Portsmouth, U.K.

A book that seems a little light on content initially with large print and a lot of white space, however the content is excellent and proves to be a wise investment at least for me, I'm glad I bought this book.

10/10 It Works!

By Susie / Warsaw, IN

Super Joints is a fantastic book! It's my first Pavel purchase, but I am completely satisfied. I have been doing the 10 exercises in the front of the book (Dr. Amasov's), and I have actually been able to get my mom (age 70) and a lady (age 50) that I work with to do them, too. We all agree that those 10 exercises have made a great difference in our lives - especially our backs. If I don't do them for more than a week, my back gets stiff when I sleep. I am finally able to sleep on my stomach for the first time in a many years!

The woman that work with has also found relief from her incontinence problem (which happens to many women her age). She holds the Roman Chair situp at a 45-degree angle and it has helped to strengthen her lower abdominal muscles.

I'm not one that has had many successes other than working really hard, so I wanted to share with everyone what an amazing book Pavel has created.

4/10 okay but overpriced

By ken / los angeles

the info is legit and valuable but I thought it was way overpriced . The book should be about $15-20 at most.

5/10 I was expecting a little more

By DGD / SLC, UT

Sorry, I was expecting a little more out of the book. I would call it "Basic Joints"

8/10 Super Joints in Perspective

By John Furutani / Denver, CO USA

Age 55, increased deadlift using Power to the People--and somehow ended up with rotator cuff tear. All the advice was surgery, so I decided to try this book. The advice is working so far as I slowly go back into a routine involving overhead presses, the pain and spasms previously suffered receding to a minimal level.

I can't guarantee this book's advice is the sole reason, but following it has allowed me to delay any surgery and function at a better level than previously.

9/10 My stydents and I love it

By edges / Dublin, Ireland

Feeling better already!

Pavel has put together a series of excersises that systematically loosens the body as a whole. I now use it as my standard warm up.

I also introduced many of the Super Joints drills into my Kenpo classes, within a week students have started saying to me how their wrists/knees/shoulders are feeling better.

You'll find the same info elsewhere, but not nearlly as clear and concise as this.

10/10 Excellent Book

By Bryan / NJ

A must for everyone.

9/10 Great book!!!

By Robert / Louisville,KY

I pulled a muscle in my shoulder so severe that I couldn't raise it over my head. I ordered the book, followed Pavel's instructions and within a couple of weeks my shoulder was mobile enough to raise overhead. My shoulder isn't ready for kettlebell presses or snatches just yet,but I am able to go hard on swings(before following the mobility exercises in Super Joints I couldn't even do a swing with my bad shoulder),cleans, front squats and rows. Thank you Pavel.

10/10 Real Russian Training

By Dan N.A. / Springfield, MO, C.S.A.

YouTube videos of Russian soldiers training, you will notice they do routines very similar to the routines mentioned in this book!!! they do the "SPEZNA DAILY TEN" in a circuit routine and it is very similar the old "MARINE CORP. DAILY SEVEN" (which is now 16 exercises) all of which are VERY VERY proven routines

this is probably the most underrated, under appreciated, practical, simple and effective routine that DRAGONDOOR has to offer, please do yourself a favor and get this book ASAP
