October 2007 Russian Kettlebell Challenge Instructor Certification Workshop — Participant Praise

Jose Vazquez, Strength Coach — Texas Rangers, Arlington, TX

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Ex professional baseball player, BJJ practitioner, Physical Therapist, CSCS

"Of all the strength and conditioning seminars I've taken in the last ten years this makes the most sense to me. If you want usable strength and endurance KB's are the way to go! As a strength coach I see how all the concepts taught here relate to everything I do I the weight room.

Everything this weekend was high quality. The material, the schedule, transportation, the instructors, everything was well thought out and planned. I can see that a lot of work went into this seminar. The results showed. I see a lot of satisfied faces around the gym. The material was easy to understand yet challenging. I can see how this type of training will help me in my training. I've been to courses where I learn one or two things, here just about everything applies to my athletes."

Davis Koh, Physical Therapist, NSCA Director, Irvine, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

DPT, MBA, GCS, CSCS.

"Very thorough. I came in with less than 2 months training and only able to snatch a 24kg 15 times before the course and through Pavel and his staffs' excellent hands-on teaching I was able to complete 62 snatches with a 24kg kettlebell at the course! Form is key — if you don't learn it correctly, you will never get better.

I would give Pavel and his staff my highest recommendation as a certification course."

"I only wish I had been training with Russian Kettlebells when I was still competing. At 45 years of age, I feel my strength and overall flexibility continuously improving. I cannot wait to bring the knowledge to my athletes and other clients.

I was extremely impressed by the knowledge, information, technique, and most of all the genuine interest of Pavel and the other trainer for the success of their students. Having conducted and attended a multitude of seminars and workshops over the past 30 years, I would rate this certification at the top.

I can immediately apply all acquired knowledge — personally and in my business."

"The team atmosphere, hard work and opportunity to network with so many great people from vast backgrounds, that RKC offers has made this a fantastic experience. I leave qualified, with more knowledge, understanding, exercise ideas, energy, motivation and many new friends. Roll on RKC II!!

Brilliant! Very thorough and well executed. Andrea was great, extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful.

Great value for money. Administration 10/10. Well organized. Thorough detail. Marketing section was most valuable to me. Very transferable.

Thank you for a fabulous weekend. Hope to stay in contact, with many great kettlebell success stories to share in year to come."

Sheila Cooper, Anesthesiologist, Kamuela, HI

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

B.S. in Exercise Science — USC, M.D. in Anesthesiology - UC San Francisco

"The most informative, instructional course I've ever attended that solidified the concepts and techniques behind kettlebell training. All aspects, from materials to course content and instructors were professional and comprehensive.

I've been to multiple fitness seminars, conferences and certification courses. RKC was the most focused, directed and organized out of all of them and included instructors who were well trained and most importantly, were able to communicate ideas and skills. This reliability and translation to proper technique is what Pavel emphasizes not only in his literature but also in "real life" which is not an easily translatable skill."

Vince Embry, Personal Trainer, San Antonio, Texas

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Former college and overseas basketball player, specialize in strength conditioning for basketball, certified by NCSF and ISSA

"Incredible life changing experience. I feel like the teaching that I learned will help prepare me to be a stronger man mentally, physically and spiritually. The instructors were great; I really appreciate the tough love.

I thought everyone was great I have never been around so many people that wanted me to succeed. It was one of the best experiences of my life. It was better than going to the Sweet 16.

The best, I played Division I basketball, trained with many strength coaches but this was by far the best."

Strider Clark, Personal Trainer, Martial arts Instructor, New York, NY

I felt Pavel lives up to his reputation as I had a real difficulty with snatches and Pavel and the Asst instructors were able to take my 19-rep snatches and purple wrist to a 61-rep snatch in 2 days. Thanks Cortez and Pavel

I have never taken a fitness orientated course so organized and well rounded — covering principals application, hands on, how to teach, feed back, corrective solutions, marketing, follow up resources and training, products and answering questions and some killer workouts, wrapped around some amazing classes."

Andrea Ruygrok, Pharmacist, Candler, NC

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Winner of several local strongman competitions (women's division) and qualify for nationals 9/8/07 in NJ. Egoscue postural alignment specialist. Pharm D, herb school graduate.

"It's tough but well worth it for those needing to build a stronger foundation and injury proof themselves or to teach others. It was unreal how much better I felt even in my posture, and I have studied other posture programs that did not help.

Great that they are actually all accomplished and athletic vs. mentally telling us theory they can't relate to anything practical. The willingness to take questions and constantly improve our techniques and teach us to focus on form and choosing appropriate KB sizes."

Jerry Olson, Electrician, Martial Arts Instructor, Glenwood, MN

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

2nd Degree Black Belt Tae Kwon Do

"I have never enjoyed 3 days of pain more than I've enjoyed these. I've gotten more practical, useful information in these 3 days than in all they Martial Arts seminars I've been to combined.

I was constantly impressed with the level of professionalism displayed at this seminar. Every individual, be it Pavel Tsatsouline, the Sr. instructors or the team leaders all had a deep knowledge of strength training and was very gracious in the way that they freely gave it away. No egos, no attitude, just an open exchange of knowledge.

The level of concern they showed that each and every participant in the seminar truly understood all the exercises was unmatched. They obviously take great pride in being kettlebell instructors and want each and every person leaning the seminar to enforce that price. They want you to be a good as them and show the same professionalism. Their pride and concern for the level of knowledge instilled to every RKC instructor was second to none."

Robert Harris, Owner Ottawa Boot Camp, Nepean, Ont. CANADA

"The weekend was a tremendous learning experience and I went from knowing little to a whole lot. I will be giving more KB training to my Boot Campers now and I will feel very confident that I'm teaching them safely and correctly.

Pavel is an excellent instructor, no horsing around, means business and I like that. I come from the military (Sergeant) and I like the discipline of the Starshima Pavel.

Brett is an awesome instructor very down to earth, easy to understand and has some built in relief mechanism to make you relax.

Jay sure knows his body, kinesthetic, his demos were the best, a true picture is worth a 100 words. I want to come back for level 2.

Overall excellent high standard was maintained by all from Pavel to Assistant Team leaders.

Training exceeded my expectations, they took us beyond our present physical abilities, much like military training."

Jason Kelly, Fitness trainer, Massage therapist, Shiatsu practitioner, Havertown, PA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

My degree and education are from Temple University in Exercise Physiology. I worked in cardiac rehab, diabetes exercise programming, corporate health and fitness, and geriatric fitness programming. I have been doing massage therapy for 13 years as well as fitness and strength training. I participate in sports like rugby, running and biking and have taken a liking to jiu jitsu and enjoy all new endeavors to sports.

"Excellent! Very informative, technique was addressed the minute you went wrong. I learned that tension is the seed and movement is the roots it grows, developed and experiences from. If you have a good seed then your growing and strength will flourish to excel to its maximum potential.

It was the best physical seminar ever. This training makes rugby practice look easy."

Stephanie Laff, Personal Trainer, Los Angeles, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Marathon Runner, Advantage Trainer at the Sports Club, LA (Advantage program trains using Gary Grey's gift program) Trainer for 4 years, NASM certified including CES and PES.

Mentally and physically the toughest certification I have ever been through, but possibly the most important. This weekend has not only improved my skills as a trainer, but personally I have grown ten fold. Well worth the trip.

Andrea's depth of knowledge is so obvious and her ability to convey that knowledge is phenomenal. She is approachable. She is clear about expectations. She is a brilliant instructor. She is the type of instructor I aspire to be. Each instructor did a great job of breaking down their exercise.

Practical use far and beyond most courses I have taken."

Andrew Bender, personal trainer, Chelmsford MA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

body building, power lifting competitions (local), NSCA-CPT

"The experience was tough, practice based and uncompromising. I feel like I've been remade as a KB practitioner and trainer.

As a professional music teacher I appreciate good coaching. Motor learning through repetition, continual re-focus on basics of technique, explanation of "why" (underlying philosophy) and quality demonstrations gets the results. The authority and good humor of the instructors seemed to be balanced."

Dawn McLeod, Channel Account Manager, Cisco Systems Inc., Philadelphia PA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Softball, basketball (div 2 recruited), rugby (loose prop, flanker, wing), rough-touch football

"Absolutely fabulous and worth every penny! The quality of the training is first class, and I've had an experience unlike any other. The trainers are fabulous, well versed in RKC but bring unique qualities to this environment. Pavel is amazing! He's extremely articulate and conveys a message of instruction as well as purpose in the most fluid manner."

Philip Davis, Contracting Specialist, Nellis AFB, NV

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

7 years of Tae Kwon Do training. Placed second place for my weight division at the Venice Beach Push/Pull meet 5 August 2006 for dead lift SSST w/ 24kg record: 228

"The RKC will help you to look at kettlebells training the way it is supposed to be — not how you think it is. If you think you have "mastered" the basics - - you are wrong.

Top notch, Excellent, Professional, Proven effective methods.

To be surrounded by such greatness is inspiring, everyone I know and train with in my life are well below my level of strength and fitness. To be surrounded by people that are as good or better than me is humbling and encouraging. I have ZERO complaints about the quality of instructors.

Everything else (including military training and I've had a lot) is a joke compared to the RKC.

So far, this has been the best training experience of my life!

Jason Marshall, Banker, Lubbock, TX

"This was the most brutal and rewarding experience I've ever had. The physical aspect is immense which causes you to revert to your training of the basics automatically. For anyone involved with the improvement of the human body, this course is the best there is.

The instuctors were amazing in respect to the sheer knowledge and intimacy they have with the human body. Their eye for perfection creased a new standard for what I will expect from myself and my clients. They are the reason I came to this workshop.

My academic background is in Exercise Science and Kinesiology but I feel like this will be a springboard for my career in the fitness industry. I will have the ability to act on and re-enforce the material and experience I've had here immediately.

This has been the hardest thing I've physically done which has made the completion that much more rewarding. I've changed in terms of my mentality towards my training and how I will handle my clients. This was worth its weight in gold!!!

Jacob Caldwell, Physical Therapist, Dana Point, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist

"The RKC program is brutal, but helps you to perform the techniques better.

I felt that Pavel, Josh Henkin, Kenneth Jay, Jeff O'Connor and Brett Jones did an excellent job teaching the material. In particular, I thought Kenneth Jay's teaching of the snatch and Josh He kin's teaching of the front squat was great. I also found the marketing lecture to be superb."

Joe Silva, Instructor, Artesia NM

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Senior Instructor, Physical Techniques Branch, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center

"It fundamentally builds a solid foundation for all to break that plateau.

My Sr. Instructor, Jeff O'Connor, was by far the most solid, well-rounded instructor of the group. His methodology was unsurpassable and a great credit to RKC and Dragon Door.

The Team Leaders were on the money with outstanding key points that helped me focus during practical exercises.

In a league by itself!!!"

Jen Peters, Trainer, San Diego CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Certified Yoga and Fitness, Trained and experienced as Muay Thai and Boxing Fighter/Instructor/Trainer, Specialize all above and Holistic Health and Nutrition

"Very exciting and helpful. I have gained a great deal of knowledge and feel I am prepared to apply it toward my training and the training of others."

Roy Figueroa, Musician, Show Low, AZ

"It was an absolutely incredible experience for me just to be in the midst of Pavel and his team who have done so much to take strength training a quantum leap beyond where it previously was in the country. Then to actually receive personal one-on-one instruction form these elite people was a valuable experience beyond measure.

The quality of knowledge and training was unparallel. If one wants the opportunity to receive instruction from many masters all in one place, here it is!"

Chris Newton, Personal Trainer, Miami, FL

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

M.S Exercise Physiology, B.S Physical Education, CSCS NSCA
2nd degree Black belt American Kenpo, Former Amateur Muay Thai Fighter
MMA Instructor, 12 years of Personal training experience

"It was a great experience and a wonderful test of physical endurance. The attention to detail was superb. It definitely creates confidence in my skills and knowledge of kettlebell education.

It was up there with the best. I look at fitness in categories. For the category of strength training and muscular endurance, the kettlebells workshop was excellent. Practical use and knowledge of proper form and lifting aspect were tops. I have been educated through University and top of the line certifications agencies (NSCA, CSCS) That is a different category, less practical, more ideological, anatomical, and physiological. This training was more instructional and functional.

Alan Martin, Firefighter, Lubbock, TX

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

College football player - 4yrs(NCAA Div II), 2 marathons, 3 sprint triathlons, 2 century bike tours, CSCS through NSCA (exp'd 12/05), strength and conditioning intern @ Texas Tech University, Physical Rehab asst, college degree in Exercise Science,

"Choices — it has become so easy to take things in life for granted movement, health, family, security etc. etc. How one chooses affects everything. This weekend I chose to spend a lot of money and a moderate amount of time to ensure that my quality of fitness, movement, and health, and business would be improved and it was beyond what I thought it would.

Pavel speaks…I listen and hope to remember a fraction of the immense knowledge he offers to/in strength training, conditioning, and proper movement.

Brett Jones — excellent as well.

Jeff O'Connor — great coach, excellent.

Andrea Du Cane — knowledgeable, respected, easy to approach, great communicator.

John Du Cane — same as Andrea, a gentle, smart, wise, peaceful person who infects with professionalism, patience, humility and sincerity.

A special thanks to Dr. Wendy, Geoff Neupert and Cortez Hull their patience, watchful eyes, and desire to coach was greatly appreciated. Geoff especially offered excellent advice and critique — thanks! He should lead a group of his own!!

I feel like I learned more here than I did in 2-3 years of college…Awesome concepts/course."

David Butler, College Student/Studying Personal Training/Army Reserve, Seguin, TX

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

3 Years active duty Army (combat Arms)

"This course was so great in the way it equally combined grueling workouts and tremendous amounts of teaching and bell time. I really haven't had this much fun since basic training.

The instructors were great! Pavel and the Sr. Instructors explained so many complicated positioning and techniques, but made them so simple to understand. As well as the assistant instructors answered all of my questions and spent time with me to help me on my form.

It reminded me of basic training but with a 100x greater emphasis on good and proper forms."

Betsy Collie, Group fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, Durham, NC

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

AFAA Cert. Group fitness, Pilates, IFTA personal Training, 20+ years in dance, fitness. NC School of the Arts for Dance-Ballet and Jazz.

The most thorough, mental and physical conditioning certification I have ever participated in. The strength and endurance level that is expected from trainees is extremely valued. The instructors are phenomenal in their knowledge and technique.

I thought the level of knowledge and training was exceptional. And the instructors and team leaders were approachable when asked regarding form or other wise. Very professional and helpful, their passion for kettlebells was obvious!

There is nothing of this high caliber. And I consider myself one who has been to many various certifications with my background in formal dance training (ballet and jazz predominantly) and over 20 years of fitness instruction. I thought I had been exposed to some great training along the way. But after RKC, nothing that I was previously exposed to compares to this!

Norman Schilder, Contractor, Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA

"I had a fantastic, but very tough, weekend improving my technique, understanding, and performance of exercise with a tool that I realize more than ever is the most versatile effective method of achieving overall fitness and strength.

It's a pleasure to get instructed by people who not only know their stuff but so obviously enjoy it. Their passion and enthusiasm can do nothing but inspire me (and others) to perform at my very best and to take that with me."

Jim Mortimer, Trainer. Forest Lake, MN

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Martial Arts, N.P.T.I. certified

"Night/day difference, my technique improved 100%.

It is was one of the hardest challenges I've faced both physically and mentally and the "most" rewarding thing I've gone through both physically and mentally.

A truly great experience with top notch people. Very happy to have been part of this. Thank you all very much!"

Lou Eleuteri, Shipping and Maintenance department, Blairsville, PA

"One of the most rewarding experiences of my life - proud to be a part of RKC.

Pavel is quite simply the man! His knowledge is awesome, he is very humble and easy to approach."

Martin Hinton, Personal Trainer, Gym owner, Kamuela, HI

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

ACE certified personal trainer, IDEA certified group fitness instructor

Enlightening! I have been a recreational and professional lifter and trainer for my whole life and being. Pavel clearly has a superior eye for body alignment. His ability to find mistakes and techniques for fixing them are profound. I found him to be stern yet fun.

Andrea Du Cane was excellent. Mark Toomey spent quality time with me. I felt like both of them each cared and personalized my instruction.

The hands on approach is great. The repetition and focusing on the basics is key. Not much variety and tricks, and I liked the "simplicity" of KB training."

Sherwin Vasallo CAT(c), CSCS, Strength Coach Athletic Therapist, Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

CSCS, Avid weightlifter, played university basketball

"My experience at the RKC camp was intense, to say the least. Pavel and the RKC instructors taught me what it is like to be an RKC and the hard work needed to be the best in the strength business.

Pavel and his crew presented with top notch training and knowledge. I have learned so much more in one weekend than 4 years of university with my professors.

Hands down, the best and most physical. I have never experienced a workshop quite like this. The practical knowledge of the course is un-measurable in the "real world" and is only going to help me become a leader in the strength industry."

Nick Castiglia, Martial arts instructor, Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA

"An amazing weekend with a tough but still very positive experience and learning atmosphere.

The practicality is amazing because it takes away all the "fancy stuff" and goes right into the basics. Always touching base on that is what is important, your basics.

This type of training and understanding you just cannot get from a book or video! Thank you Pavel and the RKC."

Stephen Makein, School Counselor/Collegiate Wrestling Coach, Meriden, CT

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Division 1 wrestler CCSU, NAGA Champion 1998, Gold Level certified coach USA wrestling, Head Wrestling Coach — Trinity College.

"One of the hardest and most rewarding experiences of my life. By far the best workshop I have ever been to."

Mike Forseth, Financial Services, Brooklyn Park, MN

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Active in a variety of martial arts from the age of 14-24. Then I spent ten years working on trading desks and eating large business lunches and astonishingly large business dinners. Not much of an athletic achievement, more of an athletic nightmare. The kettlebell has been the answer to the sedentary office worker lifestyle.

"If I could get this much learning/knowledge in a 3-day weekend every time I took a weekend seminar I would do them all the time.

Insane range of talented instructors. Everything is immediately applicable to making you better. Even if it may take some time to integrate it."

Jay Kaufman, Optometrist, Issaquah, WA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

10 yrs MA background, former competitive swimmer and water polo player.

"This weekend was intense training. Pavel is a fountain of knowledge for understanding the body. I thoroughly got taken to my physical and mental limits.

The instructors were top caliber. I felt that my two years of training were broken down to the nuts and bolts and then made better by the instructors. I had no doubts that they were the experts and that I could learn from them."

Joe Wilson, Owner of Rock Hard Fitness Center, Avonmore, PA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Power lifter set National Squat record 148 class 495 lbs. State Squat record 181 class 645. Competed in Olympic lifting. Bodybuilding. Strongman, Learning MMA

Nothing that I have done compares to this certification.

Hard to do better than perfect."

"The RKC is the most professional and well put together fitness course in which I have participated."

Howie Eugenio, Strength Coach, Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

CSCS

"Going through the certification training is by far the best way to learn and improve use of the kettlebells.

The quality is top notch, I couldn't ask for anything more. Everything was organized and smooth flowing with one drill leading into the next.

Very practical and very hands-on. I believe you learn best by doing and that's exactly what we did.

What I have learned this weekend is of tremendous value and will help me immensely. I couldn't ask for more."

Brad Ellingson, Executive, Maple Grove, MN

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

I am a CSCS & have done some power lifting, 360 sq, 325 bench, 445 dead lift.

"The RKC was the best training course I have ever taken. Einstein said "The height of complexity is simplicity". The instructors did this to perfection, taking highly complex moves and breaking them down in an easy to understand format.

The instructors were excellent. All brought valuable info to the table. The Srs. have indeed earned the right to be Srs. Like a good coach, I wanted to play hard for my coach (Jones).

The results speak for themselves. Continuous sell outs mean you are doing the right things. Think: simplicity."

Carl Sipes, Personal Trainer, Washington, IL

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Kinesiology from Illinois State University, A.C.E. certification

"The certification is well worth the money. It introduced me to a technical side of kettlebells I didn't know existed. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to teach kettlebells to others.

The knowledge of training Pavel brings to the table is perfect. Everything is shaved to the bare minimum, but still brings about the best results."

Terri Campbell, Steel Sales, Houston, TX

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Spent many years of training in the gym until I found kettlebells.

"This was truly one of the most fulfilling things I have ever accomplished and I am so proud to be a part of RKC. I am so impressed with the organization and the people who represent it. I am truly honored to be a part of this small percentage of true warriors.

Pavel is truly amazing and pays attention to so much detail on everyone. He shows no favoritism and is constantly paying attention to perfecting form so we all represent Dragon Door in a great way.

Geoff Neupert also has this same ability and is very inspirational. He has a way of connecting with each student and making you feel like you are constantly improving.

I think you have perfected this work shop. Everything was easy to follow and once you arrived everything was pretty much covered for you i.e., breakfast, shuttles, meeting held at hotel that the students were at etc. very impressive."

Jim Skislak, Information Technology Engineer, Washington DC

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

KB Training ~ 2 years. Marine Corps Marathon 2004.

"My understanding of the methodology and techniques surrounding the proper use of kettlebell training is vastly improved. The effective application of the alignment, technique, tension and breathing techniques created a synergy that pushed my performance beyond what I thought possible. All the instructors were supremely qualified and communicated all direction and information in a very effect fashion.

The instructors were all exceedingly competent and qualified. Very useful feedback from the instructors was given on all aspects of the workshop. All the instructors possessed the ability to communicate effectively yet simple which led to a quick grasp of the important elements they wished to convey.

It was a privilege to be member of the team led by Jeff O'Conner. Jeff's leadership and training abilities are outstanding as well those demonstrated by his assistants (Amber and BJ) they made the entire workshop experience outstanding."

Physically the hardest certification I've been through. I learned a lot and found this to be very useful for my business and my own training. I am more determined than ever to take this to the next level."

Sara Juve, Nutrition/Fitness Consultant, Decorah, IA

"The most intense, challenging accomplishment (outside of my 24 hour of labor — this was 3 days)!

Pavel is the master of evaluation and breaking down technique — as well as demonstrating. I valued the leaders who watched gave instant and useful feedback as well as encouragement. Jeff and Cortez were essential in my improvement and learning at the training.

It provided physical, mental and emotional excellence at all times. I appreciate how the process has improved my strength in all areas. The quality and scope of knowledge throughout all instructor and assistants were amazing.

Thank you for the opportunity of training and expecting excellence from us! I also value the marketing seminar to help us with our business."

The quality of Pavel and everyone involved was top notch. This was my main reason for signing up for the RKC.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for all the time and effort that they put into it. They should be commended for all of their hard work. Great job."

"The knowledge of performing the proper form during kb exercises and the knowledge to teach has given me even more motivation and to be able to pass on this knowledge to others to increase their health. To make a difference.

I compare it to drill school in the fire dept. it can be physically challenging as well as mentally. The material and practical use will be unbelievably beneficial when it comes to training others. It is the grounding tool to become an excellent trainer if one continues to learn and expand."

"The RKC was very informative and very well structured. The instructors were extremely knowledgeable without being pretentious. The instructor's manual was invaluable. The workouts were intense and it is one of the best learning experiences of my life.

It helped me appreciate how a simple piece of equipment can create so many aspects of training."

"The RKC training was the most intense training/learning experience I've ever been through. PERIOD!!.

I believe Pavel and all the Sr. Instructors and assistants are amazingly knowledgeable — able to explain/teach in few words and correct immediately. This was the best training I have ever been part of."

The training exceeded my expectations. I found that even though I did not pass the snatch test of 74 reps, with 36 the first day and 69 the last. I know with a bit more training and applying the skills learned I will get to 74 very soon.

I found the instruction of Pavel inspiring and it gives me the desire to learn more about the old training methods and their simplicity. I found instructors Cortez Hall, and Geoff Neupert to be extremely knowledgeable in this subject matter. The lectures were great so much information to digest in 3 days great!!

This is my first seminar of this kind at all and it has set a very high bar for all others to follow. Sore, tired and beaten, it has been extremely fun and informative."

"To call the training RKC training is not complete enough. This is really a condensed weekend of learning overall strength and conditioning — kettlebells are just the implement that we used. You are really learning from the "best of breed" PL, GS, bending athletes.

Amazing! Wide variety of disciplines! Experts — but all range of physique and expertise.

Excellent — only other one I have taken was Dave Tate's Elite FTS. This was more organized, professional, and thorough. Both changed the way I think about strength. More ways to demonstrate — learn here."

Mike Lee, Massage Therapist, Video Producer, Huntington Beach, CA

"It was the most physically and mentally demanding experience in my life. I really appreciated the intelligent manner in which this system is presented.

All the instructors were top notch, each with their own personality and style. Learning from Pavel in person is worth every penny it cost and then some. Although he is great on DVD, he is much, much better in person. Andrea Du Cane and the assistant instructors, Mark Toomey and Mark Erickson were extremely helpful and encouraging, yet pushed me at the same time. Really appreciated Andrea's intelligent manner of teaching.

Thanks for an awesome experience."

Excellent! All of teachers were astonishingly knowledgeable, but were still able to communicate their thoughts to the "victims" very easily. They also administered a perfect form of tough love; they won't let you fail!.

Instructors were amazing! They are able to put an overwhelming amount of knowledge into simple, easy to understand terms. They translate the vocabulary of doctors and specialists to the vernacular.

Second to none! Now I know what it's like to train with true pros. There was a wide variety of general knowledge that was all broken down into specific parts. All of the information was taught in such a way that is well be applicable to other endeavors in sports, or everyday life. They did an excellent job of teaching how to teach."

"My RKC experience has been a huge eye opener on kettlebell training. I have gained great knowledge on how to apply and teach the principles of kettlebell training.

Pavel, Sr. Instructors, and the team leaders all did a great job. Their methods of training are able to be understood at the basic level. Brett Jones helped save my shoulders on proper swing training.

The certification went into such great detail with kettlebell information. No other course I have attended has paid attention to detail like this course."

"I learned so many skills and teaching techniques. The workshop was a really confidence builder and I'm excited to be a part of the kettlebell community.

A wealth of knowledge from sr. instructors and team leaders. Very confident under their direction. Perfect amount of encouragement, instruction and tough love.

The only physical workshop that I have attended, but am assured that it is the highest quality of instruction. Practice use and application endless."

"The RKC training is one the best fitness certification around. The information I have learned is invaluable for my career.

The RKC training in my opinion is one of the best programs I've taken. The exercises I've learned in this program are useful not only for myself but also beneficial for my clients. The information I have learned here is something that will stay with me throughout my fitness career.

Everything is well orchestrated and I'm very satisfied with the program."

"Training made me realize that my body can do things I never thought possible. Instructors are very helpful in correcting any weaknesses/leakage that I might have.

Very willing to help and correct things that would get in the way of performing to the best of my ability. Very motivating — with something like this you need that.

Awesome, made me love people even more and what they can be capable of."

"This is a brutal, physical 3-day weekend which really separates the tough from the weak. I learned to have crisp technique —even when fighting through the physical fatigue. I truly believe that this experience has improved every aspect of my kettlebell training.

Much more physical than any certification I've ever taken. Most certifications are lectured based — I'm glad this was different."

"Quality instruction, helping fitness professionals become the best they can be in the fitness industry.

The quality of the training and knowledge is first class. It's just amazing that the instructors can pick out a weakness that you have and make a correction right away.

I loved the way the program was broken down into steps that helped improve the technique of all the exercises we learn over the weekend."
