The training was one of the most intense, enjoyable and rewarding educational experiences I've ever been through. The quality of instruction was first-rate and the quantity…. I'll be digesting all the info for along time.

These people are amazing. Very smart, very accomplished, very serious…. Yet with a great sense of humor.

It was without a doubt the best practical instruction I've ever had. Take the kbs away and it was still the best (and simplest!) explanation of training I've ever been exposed to. Simple, not easy

Ron Holland - Owner of SWAT Fitness; Tucson, AZ

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

20 years experience as a former Military SWAT Commander and Civilian Police Sergeant.
Certified Master Trainer, Owner of SWAT Fitness in Tucson, AZ. Certified in Nutrition, Reebok CORE training, Spinning, and Personal Fitness Training.
Ron has run 13 marathons worldwide, and is a trainer and fitness director for local law enforcement, military personnel and fire department personnel.

I've trained my whole life, swat, marathons, crossfit, but the RKC has been then best training I've ever had.

Jordan Vezina - Strength Trainer; Palo Alto, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

April 2008 Tactical Strength Challenge competitor, ISSA CFT, United States Marine Corps Infantry, Former Gavin DeBecker and Associates Staff Agent, Trainer at Mark Reifkind Senior RKC's Girya

Will change you, not just as a trainer, but as a person. You will have to dig down deep and find out who you really are. The potential is there to change society for the better.

Quality of instruction and depth of knowledge is superb. Not just in regard to kettlebells, but all areas of strength training. Easily the equivalent of five certifications.

There is no comparison. RKC is far and above the best system I have seen. Not just in scope and depth of knowledge but in simplifying the complicated.

Matt Zaborowski — Personal Trainer; Madison, WI

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Certified Natural Trainer (CNT) Level 2; Poliquin Certified Level 1; USA Track and Field Level 1; 2 Years of college basketball; Personal Trainer at the Monkey Bar Gym in Madison, Wisconsin. 3 years of training experience under owner Jon Hinds. 81 Pistols in a row each leg

I had been waiting, preparing and planning to attend the RKC for over 2 years. I have also heard many positive remarks about the course itself. The certification completely exceeded any and all expectations I had prior to attending. In my opinion it is the absolute best strength and conditioning certification on the market today. If you have any interest in kettlebell training, you must attend this course period.

The level of instruction was top notch. Pavel showed why he is among the best in the world at what he does, and lived up to all my expectations. The Senior and Team Leaders were outstanding. Incredibly generous, kind, informative and engaging. My Team Leader Doug Nepodal, along with assistants Rik Brown and Stephanie Laff quite simply could not have done a better job and should be commended.

There is no comparison. Quality was top notch, the scope of material was perfect for a level 1 cert, and the practical use is obvious. After other certs I felt like I may have learned only 1 or 2 practical lessons, dare I feel like I earned everything I was given.

Aaron Mansfield - personal trainer

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist, 7 years rugby collegiate and club experience

The most grueling three days that I have had to go through. I have done double days for rugby and football and, while those are good for beating you up, this punishment had a purpose. I came away with a whole new understanding of why kettlebell training is superior.

The instruction given by the staff this weekend was incredible. Being able to break everything down to its most fundamental elements and make them easy to understand was very beneficial. Team Leaders and Assistant Instructors were very good at relaying the information from Senior Instructor.

This is the only certification where practical use was required. That was the main reason I signed up. NASM, ACE, nothing else I have seen requires to application and demonstration that RKC demands you have to be extremely proficient in our own use of kettlebells to pass the course.

Ken Coblentz — Engineer; Del Mar, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

9 Years Martial arts Experience
10 Years Yoga Practitioner

My experience at the RKC was well above my expectations both in physical challenge and in technical dissemination of knowledge. As well as putting into practice what I have learned.

Pavel is the master and instructed as such. I was pleased with his thorough and methodical step wise approach.

Kenneth Jay was excellent in his presentation. Including power and endurance, good example of how KBs can be used for both strength and cardio.

I have been to many Soo Bahk Do Seminars in martial arts and others. This was 10 times better than anything I have ever experienced. Excellent instruction, lots of tips and tricks very complete explanation of the system great practical exercises. Good use of time.

JoNell Vachet - personal trainer\physical therapist; Moorpark, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Spectrum 2007 Trainer of the Year Thousand Oaks
Physical Therapist
CSCS (Cert Strength & Conditioning Specialist)
CEAS ll (Cert Ergonomic Assessment Specialist level ll)
FMS Certified Specialist

This was a fantastic course! Challenging! It met all my expectations and then some.

The instructors are all excellent and very helpful. Dr Chang is an incredible instructor. He is very specific is his corrections, very encouraging and well pleasant to work with. I feel prepared to go out and teach what I've learned to others.

The best so far. The lectures were excellent, but the practical sessions were even better. Intensity and specificity was the best.

Mike Davis, DPT — Physical Therapist; Richmond, VA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Collegiate Athlete (American Football), Some Muy Thai and BJJ training, Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Certified Active Release Technique Provider, TRX Certified.

Eclectically (mind, body, emotion, and spirit) stimulating. A testimony as to the beginning of what a human being can endure.

The quality of training and instructional info @ the RKC is invaluable. The communication was extremely clear and respectful. Enough cannot be said about Pavel. He is very/extremely knowledge and more importantly, to me, very approachable as where all of the instructors. I'm extremely honored and grateful to have been here and to be apart of Team Du Pain aka Du Cane.

Very high in terms of testing physical, mental, and emotional fortitudes.
Excellent in terms of practical use.

Kirsten Farrell — ATC; Playa Del Rey, CA

"Death by kettlebell" " Marathoners have nothing on an RKC weekend" "The toughest thing I have ever done — hands down"

Let's be serious — Nothing compares to the RKC!! Nothing — I dare someone to come up with a training weekend that has more to it — I am lucky to have been here.

Bryan Mashburn — Personal Trainer; Tucson, AZ

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

A.C.E. Certified Personal Trainer

A total body experience, mind included. It will take you to a whole new level of expertise and will physically break you down.

Incredible. Absolutely incredible. The instructors and Pavel himself could not have been more helpful. Miss Heidi from Team Jay is the real deal, the most helpful person I have ever worked with, no joke.

It dominates them all. No other cert gives you this much substance, no other.

I wouldn't change anything. Great experience, changed me as a trainer and person. Phenomenal experience. Completely humbling. Totally satisfying. Highly recommended. Great job guys, really appreciate it.

Jacob Reid — Electrician; Coarsegold, CA

To quote Nietzsche: "My happiness comes like a storm. But my enemies will think the Evil One rages over their heads. Yes, you too will be terrified, my friends, by my Wild Wisdom: and perhaps you will flee from her along with my enemies."

Dominic Alexander, Tuscon AZ

I have gotten many certifications in many things. Krav Maga, artificial Hearts (I am a clinical engineer), running, PT etc… RKC is hands down the best one yet. I really want to be apart of this organization due to the fact that I actually like all of you. The material speaks for itself but that is not enough to make me want to learn from someone. I have to believe in your as well. That is what I got out of this RKC training is that I believe in Pavel and his staff.

Hands down the best. Like I said earlier I have done many certs before and this was the best. I am most impressed with the humility that was shown with the students. I felt no posturing from instructors and felt safe and comfortable. I may sound sappy but ya'll brought it out of me. The training was tough as hee-haw. So much so that it took me back because most things I do have come easily to me. I ran track/XC in college (Big East), blue belt BJJ and I cage fight, Muay Thai, etc…

YET ya'll showed me how far I have to go. I am truly impressed with what you are doing.

Everyone was truly great to learn from and be around. I have to send a special shout of to FRANZ, DAVE and LAURA. They were very supportive, clear, and concise. They were able to demand the best from us yet not back or make you feel like an idiot for not getting your hips through.

Pavel — for being an icon you are very approachable and cool to be around.
I will be back.

Erik Traeger - Sports Performance Director; Clovis, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

MA Kinesiology, USAW Level 1, CSCS, specializing in sports performance training and strength training for athletes

I attended a one day kettlebell clinic by Pavel. It was then that I learned how little I actually knew about kettlebells. Six months later I took the RKC course. I wanted to learn form the best. Pavel and RKC are the best. I would recommend that you do not instruct anyone in kettlebells until you take this course and get certified. This was a very physically demanding weekend. I was exhausted and sore after the first day of training and that lasted the entire weekend. If I had not come in physically prepared, I would not have been able to complete the course. I learned volumes about kettlebells and the RKC style of training. This course has ignited a burning desire to learn more.

Compared to other certifications, RKC is much more hands-on. You can get other certifications by executing the lifts properly with PVC pipe, but the RKC, you must execute proper technique with a relatively heavy kettlebell. For other certifications you can be out of shape and still pass the course. You must be in top physical condition to pass RKC.

Jose Nartea (Jr.); Lakewood, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

MA Sports & Fitness Management, BA in Sports Medicine, NATA Certified Athletic Trainer, NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Business Owner / Instructor: Neural Demand Systems - Athletic Performance Facility.

The only training certification where you actually physically (through blood, sweat and hard work) earned your certification status. Others recommend that you just know the material, here you must feel it to fully understand its application.

All provided continuous feedback of every aspect of the "skilled-strength" game. No one kept any secrets.

This was by far the most exceptional cert. program I have ever taken that actually had you performing the techniques rather than just demonstration and lecture. Learning the Actual Practical application of the RKC system sold me and put a lot of things I have learned thus far through endless lecturing to shame!

Thanks to all of you who make this possible for teachers like me. I enjoyed every lesson and every rep!! Highly valuable information for the determined entrepreneur!!

Ro Rowan — Personal fitness training coordinator, UCLA Recreation; Los Angeles, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

UCLA Women's Rugby team.

An amazing test of skill, athleticism, heart, spirit, and an open mind. I feel stronger (more sore) then when I stepped on the field and in more control of my body and my body's strength.

Fantastic. Very interesting. I love how kettlebells were tied into other sports, activities, and people of all ages, sizes and levels.

I thought the pace and structure was fantastic. Just the right balance of physical challenges with "lectures" (or rest), and team building.

Kurt Hall - personal trainer Sacramento Ca

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

NASM (CPT,PES), ACE CPT.

This certification has given me the ability to identify the flaws in my form which in turn will give me the ability to correct them in myself and future clients.

I felt that instructor Du Cane had a very solid base of knowledge which was displayed in her strong attention to detail in town and technique. Pavel's teaching style is very unique but quite effective.

I have never experienced certification that was a physically and mentally demanding as the RKC cert. I really enjoyed this experience and look forward to future educational advancement with RKC.

David O'Donnell

Awesome. Where do I begin? Just truly thankful that these brilliant minds are willing to share their knowledge and passion for fitness.

John Roberts — Vegetable Farmer; Santa Maria, CA

Pavel is superior in his knowledge and talent of gathering uniquely useful and complex information and teaching it with ease and flow. All master and senior instructors along with the team leaders and their assistants were very knowledge and gave helpful tips when needed.

Daniel Cordero — Personal Trainer; San Diego CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, NSCA-CPT, USA weight lifting

Great experience, the best cert I have taken. The training is hands on. Instructors are there to correct form and answer questions.

Everyone knew what they were talking about and if they didn't know they would find out. I have gotten the most individual attention then any other cert.

Charles Barrett Belknap - Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer; Westminster, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Functional Training only for the past 3 years.

Life changing. Not only has the RKC experience taken my personal workouts to a whole new level. It has also given me enough confidence and instruction, to be able to share this information with my clients, in a safe manner.

The depth and amount of time invested, by far exceeds any other type of certifications experience I have had.

Chad Stewart

The people involved in the RKC are passionate about what they are doing. They are about the outcome not just making $$. John Du Cane very well spoken and applies the ideas he has learned through real life, Pavel lots of experience. The two together make a great team.

I really enjoyed the process. The instruction was very professional. The athletes were also very nice.

Hugo Alvarado - Customer Service Rep;

Excellent hands on training, great instructors and excellent people. I will say it was excellent. Everyone knows what they are doing. I found it very helpful that everyone has their own way of transmitting the information to participants.

Megan Butacan — Personal Trainer; Torrance, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

BS Athletic Training; NSCA; FMS certified;

It was without a doubt the most grueling and well structured cert I've attended. I was very appreciative of the attention to detail from the teaching to the daily schedule and the integrity with which everything was done.

In all aspects this one far exceeded any other cert I have taken. I can't express how much I enjoyed my experience and I'm looking forward to completing RKC Level II in the near future!

Dave Neal — P.E. Teacher; Brentwood, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Coach (Soccer, Softball, Cross Country) Adventure Racing; Long distance running/ Cycling

The most intense physical and emotional experience I have had in my physical culture experience. I have seen and done more than I imagine. It has instilled in me a greater commitment to making this kb culture a reality to greater numbers of people.

It was of the highest quality professionally and well as appropriately in conveying what is truly important. This is direct, to the point, committed to refinement but not intimidated by the popular fitness culture!

Mario Hostios — Personal Trainer; Los Angeles, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

ACE Personal Trainer, CHEK Exercise Coach

This is the most complete workshop/certification I have attended. In particular the marketing workshop and emphasis on community and joint venturing was superb. It complements the outstanding instruction and practical value of "investing" in the course.

Consistent instruction/corrections from the "staff" drives home the point of this curriculum as a system.

Evan Trevors — Personal Trainer, Red Deer, AB, CANADA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Various athletic sports as well as snowboarding. Weight training, running.

As an average personal trainer, I cannot see one reason why everyone shouldn't own a kettlebell. The benefits go above and beyond the expectations of any person as well as skeptics. Not achieving results is basically not an option! That's how training should be.

Indescribable knowledge, amazing respect, patience, and a passion to teach other people. Those ingredients couldn't go hand in hand better.

Surpassed beyond any expectations. Even fatigued at the end I still felt stronger. That says a lot on all aspects.

Celina Reed — Program Director; Rancho Santa Margarita, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

2nd Degree Black Belt

The hardest thing I have ever put my body through and the best reward for it. Knowledge.

Everyone has their very own way of explaining the same exercise. It was just how they put it into word. I believe they touched on every aspect of the body and gave priceless knowledge.

I have been personally trained before at 24 hr fitness by the body builder types. It was a workout but not anything I will remember because it wasn't as simply put as kettlebells. I have been training in martial arts for 4 years and that is always a work out but these two things together will help me so much better with my overall fitness. Strength and power.

Bill Bybee — Trainer; San Jose, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

high intensity strength and conditioning and Crossfit training; 4 years of high school wrestling; 8+ years martial arts
National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer and Performance Enhancement Specialist

This certification shifted my entire paradigm of what I thought training was about. It (RKC) is a beautiful integration of old and new knowledge and application. The instructors are the finest single group of trainers I've ever encountered working for a single organization. This training charges you mind and body in a professional way.

I have never encountered a more knowledgeable group of instructors. Simple but profound explanations of the RKC system and what it can accomplish. Their attention to detail was amazing. Each instructor brought their own unique knowledge and style but all operate from the same core principles. This makes me feel like I'm part of a team.

Exceeded all other certs by leaps and bounds.

John Spezzano — Martial Arts / Defensive Tactics Instructor; Los Angeles, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Staff instructor at Inosanto Academy since 1995, teaching Muay Thai, JKD, Savate, Filipino Martial Arts, Pencak Silat, and Wing Chun. Defensive Tactics instructor with the Operational Skills Group catering to military and law enforcement agencies around the country.

The RKC is a challenging weekend both mentally and physically. I learned a lot about kettlebells as well as myself.

Pavel is an outstanding instructor his combination of hard core kettlebeller with stand up comic was a real joy to experience. I learned a lot fro his sections.

Kenneth Jay was my team leader and he was very helpful in having me dial in my form and technique. I felt any question I approached him with would be answered thoroughly. I feel exactly the same about Mark Cheng (my regular instructor) and Dan John.

The best. Hands down.

Patrick Harvey — Personal trainer; Washington, D.C.

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

NASM-CPT; ACSM-HFI; AFAA-GFI; Madd Dog Spin; Krav Maga Instructor in training

Eye opening ass kicking. Simple yet brutal! Very informative and well thought out. The most simple exercises are given can now be seen in a new light because of what was learned this weekend.

Pavel speaks with authority on everything. He has a way of breaking things down to such a simple level.

Brett Jones has an encyclopedic knowledge of human anatomy. He is a fantastic coach and would recommend him to anyone.

Kettlebell concepts — inferior, bad learning skills no training. Blah!
RKC — superior, very useful, skills acquired.

Ranil Piyaratna — Staffing; San Jose, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Karate Blue Belt; Assistant PFS Instructor, Jeet Kune Do

It is the most intense mental and physically challenging program I have ever been to. I have learned so much that kbs will be a large part of my workout routine for as long as I live.

Pavel and the other instructors were very helpful in correcting my form and encouraging getting through the workout routines.

The most intense with a variety of practical material that can be easily taught.

John Du Cane: gave great information on business.

Very organized. Love the hands on training. The best certification by far.

Kingston Heng — Martial Arts Instructor;

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Seven Star Mantis Kung Fu Practitioner

Hardest and most enlightening physical and mental training.

The knowledge and depth instructors and team leaders shared with more than answered many questions regarding my training. It also made me think about drills I currently do and made me analyze how effective they are.

I enjoy the focus on principle training of the RKC. It allows you to apply what you learn about body mechanics to everyday use.

Rich Endo — Software Developer; Los Angeles, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Wrestling, JKD

Very demanding, but equally rewarding. Felt a sincere concern for me personally, and professionally by the all the team lead with which I interacted. A consummate example of "mentorship" in action.

Excellent, truly enlightening. Besides being more challenging I feel it will have more application in my professional and personal life.

Carlos Feliz — Educator; New York City

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

BJJ; Boxing; ACE Certified Personal Trainer

I found the RKC to be thorough and intense yet simple. The design of it had me break through some of my self-imposed limitations

The quality and knowledge of training from Pavel and Staff is superior to any I've encountered.

RKC training is on another planet when it comes to others in terms of quality and practical use.

A challenging and informative experience.

Training and knowledge was top quality. All instructors and team leaders are passionate about kettlebells. Instructors and team leaders also illustrate that they study their field extensively.

Quality of material was of the top level. The scope was focused and there are definite practical applications.

A simple system throughout the training.

They listened to the needs of the trainees. They were open to difficult questions. They didn't speak down to the trainees and they had patience. They enjoyed passing on their knowledge in a clear manner.

It reminded me of martial arts training, learning by doing. I really got attached to the system of learning.

Excellent organization and good cooperation between the instructors and organizers.

Dina Juve — Personal Trainer Fresno, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

I have worked in the Nutrition and Fitness industry for the past 6 years.

Extremely difficult but amazing. It pushes you to your limits but keeps you wanting more.

Everyone was very easy to talk to and ask questions.

This training is amazing. I found strength I didn't know I had. Everything was simple, not easy like said several times, but you had clear instructions. The material was covered in a easy to understand forum. The practice was hard but very rewarding.

Alan Floresca - Performance Coach & Personal Trainer; Fresno, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

First Degree black belt in Shotokan Karate, one year Wing Chung, 2002 5th place Alaska State Champion Hurdler, 2004 WAC Decathlete 6th place, 2006 WAC Decathlete 8th place, NSCA-CSCS certified, and NSCA-CPT certified.

It was the most insightful and hands on experience I've been through, I would gladly go through it again.

It was superb to the tee. They knew what they were talking about, it made sense, and you can apply it to any aspect of fitness.

Lot of hands on training then applying it in front of an instructor. Others require just a written comprehensive.

Darrell Banning — Tucson, AZ

It was amazing how I learned to pay attention to technique and that carried to how tired I got and I was still going strong!

Very wonderful! Informative. Same thing explained by different people really help the information sink in.

Made me miss the Navy adopted these exercises in the rescue swimmer program.

Kelly John; Murray, Utah

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

ALL STATE DISCUS

It was a test for myself. I needed to push my limits even when others thought I had reached them. It was not only a physically demanding course, but a very mentally demanding course as well. At the conclusion of the course, I am sure I am physically and mentally stronger.

I thought everyone was incredibly knowledgeable. I could tell that all of the instructors were very passionate about the RKC and it made me want to learn more.

Robert Jay — Longshoreman;

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

practicing Xingyiquan and Taiji.

I have become more physically strong and mentally tough. An experience I will always remember and take with me whenever I train. It makes you strong in everyway. Strong as the day is long!

Very high quality teaching by Pavel and very exacting and smart and intense.

The team leaders and seniors were all very accommodating and helpful and motivating as well. I learned so much from all of them.

More intense and demanding than standard weight lifting. Much more attention to detail.

1st rate unlike anything I have ever attended. Dotted all the "I's" and crossed every "t". "The best"

This program took everything to another level.

David White - Personal Trainer; Venice, CA

A very fulfilling experience that made me more appreciative of the RKC and the kettlebell experience.

Doug Nepodal was a great team leader, caring, firm, informative, knowledgeable. Rik Brown and Stephanie Laff were capable helpful assistants.

Best course I have taken because of the small groups and the attention to details by all.

Jason Root - Elite Personal Trainer; Antelope, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

5th in the nation 2008 Division II men's Rugby with The Sacramento Capitals

My experience here at the RKC, opened my eyes into a new world that I have yet to discover and hope to conquer. I can't ever see myself putting a kettlebell down for the rest of my life, my clients and myself, will be forever grateful.

The quality of training given to me this weekend was amazing, looking forward to advancing to the CK-FMS and the Level II certification.

The RKC certification was definitely an experience. The mindset that you have to have to go through the weekend really brought the class together, reminded me a lot of double days for football. Enjoyed everything about it.

No real suggestions, just to continue to push the envelope of being a leader in the health and fitness industry. Continue to inspire.

Cindy Tseng — Administrative; Los Angeles, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

I like working out, esp with kettlebells, no previous formal athletic experience.

This has been a powerful course in reinforcing all the basics, the fundamental knowledge we as human beings should know about movement in a very intense manner.

I've read and heard Pavel's name many times. He's definitely established himself as the leading authority of kettlebells, amongst other things. After meeting him his success became all the more clear. He is unobnoxious, sturdy, flexible and modest.

All the instructors were immensely helpful and supportive of us. Dan John is an amazing teacher. It is readily perceivable that Mr. John does what he does out of pure passion and care for his athletes and anyone he works with.

Advin Omic - MMA Fighter; Alberta Canada

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Professional Mixed Martial Arts fighter. Martial arts assistant instructor. Background in kickboxing, karate, Jiu Jitsu and boxing.

The RKC experience is one of the most demanding, most physically and mentally draining thing I have ever done, but a the same time one of the most rewarding.

The quality of training was very great. There is not one trainer here that I would second guess their abilities to perform or teach kettlebells.

Kettlebell training has been a very unique experience. As a mixed martial artist I have gone through different workouts but none have compared to the intensity and strength both inner and muscular I receive from kettlebells.

Lance F. Coffel — Developer; Lake Oswego. OR

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Trampoline, Boxing, Swimming athlete/coach. Pro 1/2 Bicycle Racing. Yoga Instructor

Tough, but a fun and invaluable experience that will serve me well in my training of well as coaching future clients.

I was impressed at the time Pavel took to answer my questions at the breaks and his practical knowledge and recognition/fixing technique issues.

The organization was great! The balance of lecture and hands on training/practice was also great. This is my 3rc KB cert and I would say it was by far better than the other 2 in quality. Scope of material and practical use!

Sonia Ulrich - Fitness Trainer; Los Angeles, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro (and most of Mt. Rainier - storm blew us off), College Basketball (SFSU), CA AIDS Ride/Ride for Life (Bike from SF to LA). NASM, ACE, MAT (Muscle Activation Techniques) Certified. Pre/Post Natal training. Personal Trainer in New York City for the past 5 years.

I loved it. It took the concept of "tough Love" to its highest level. I was both shown how to be tough and made stronger and given love and respect by all involved.

The breadth of knowledge and experience was unparalleled. I've never been to a workshop that had such a diverse group of instructors.

Hugh Zuker — Consultant; Aspen, CO

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

President - Mountain Rescue Aspen, Snowmass Ski Patrol

For the first time I actually had the 'a-ha" experience that "strength is a skill." Beyond the difficulty of the actual work, was the bright and shiny core understanding of how "simple but not easy" fit together in the KB universe.

Being amongst the elite pro's and seeing the combo of unanimity of viewpoint with contrasting openness to create and develop improving tactics in the system was exciting and refreshing. Now I better understand that the adherence to the RKC principles is not dogmatic, but reality based and vital.

Very practical and complete. Most questions answered. Based on results as opposed to theory.

Mike Krivka - Training Director; Gaithersburg, MD

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

30+ years experience in the martial arts. Consultant to Federal law enforcement and military personnel.
8 years experience with kettlebells and have trained people from coast to coast and from every walk of life from soccer moms to CAT and SWAT team members. Have given over 50+ workshops that ranged in topics from fat-loss to tactical strength development. Been actively doing CrossFit and have a popular affiliate in Gaithersburg, MD that uses KB's as the primary resistance tool. Have also assisted in teaching KB's at CrossFit Level I certifications from California to Pennsylvania and am developing ongoing training in KB's for the CrossFit community.

As always, Dragon Door/Pavel has created an intense and visceral training experience for the midlevel and experienced kb practitioner. I would recommend it for anyone who is seriously (and I emphasize the serous part) interested in learning more about kbs.

Pavel and the Sr. RKC's are the cream of the crop when it comes to kb's and practical strength training. You cannot and will not find a more knowledgeable or passionate group anywhere.

Brad Loomis - Gym Owner/Personal Trainer; Portola, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

5x Natural Bodybuilding Champion

This is the best physical cert/recert of any kind I have ever taken. Very thorough.

I think I would trust Pavel with my body more than my doctor. His knowledge is incredible. I came not being able to lay on my back, spondylolisthesis and scoliosis and spinal bifida, to doing it no problem.

Mike LaCoss - Personal Trainer; Tucson, AZ

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

College Football, CrossFit Cert.

The RKC makes you have many Aha! Moments. I experienced several of them on many of the lifts while Franz Snideman was pointing them out. The cues were a priceless tool to take back to my clients.

Every trainer gave quality cues. They all know how to teach the universal principles of RKC but differently which was good.

Very, very thorough. And the trouble shooting was awesome. Can use it with my clients back home.

Jaime B Collins — Personal Trainer; Tucson, AZ

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

ACE Certified Personal Trainer

My experience at the RKC training has been painful, tiring, but most importantly exhilarating. While my body many be hurting, the pain serves as a reminder of the power and resilience it holds, a reminder that I'm alive and healthy.

I was overall impressed by the quality of training and knowledge provided by the RKC team.

By far, the RKC training was more vigorous and demanding than any other courses I've taken. I feel the lessons can be applied to almost every client of mine, and is there for very practical.

Thank you all for your time and efforts in making us (the students) better as instructor and as human beings.

Monique Cordukes - Executive Assistant; Ottawa, Canada

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Train every day with Adventure Bootcamp for women

I believe it's very important to take this course as I've learned a lot, and not a lot of experienced people. We had a great team leader and assistants.

Pavel is a great mentor, he made sure to walk around and correct or tell the person if we were doing it correctly.

It is more detailed step by step I've been doing kettlebell for 1 1/2 years. I'm also a runner, I also do Boot camp for women it has increased my endurance, lost a lot of weight. I went from a size 12 to a size 0, nothing else has ever worked, I also watched my nutrition.

Matt Seki - personal trainer; Los Angeles, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

kodokan judo, hombu aikido, muso-shinden ryu iaido

It was like basic training boot camp or any other military type training courses. It was truly life changing and one of the best experiences in life in general. Certainly the best exp. training wise.

Among the best knowledge I could ever learn about training body. Equivalent to my kinesiology program in school as well as scientifically in line with that college type science knowledge.

Any other training/certification programs seem like a joke compared to this. All of the terms mentioned above met at a very high level, highest I've seen.

I loved it can't think of a way I would change it.

Maria Rascon — Customer Service Rep; Tucson, AZ

Kettlebells are not for sisses!

Excellent! Pavel is very knowledgeable, charismatic and patient. One of the best instructors I've ever seen and had the honor to hear speak.

Senior Instructors and team leaders were great! Dr. Mark rocks.

No comparison. With RKC you have to earn your certification not just pay!

Honor to be part of RKC. My team leader and assistants Michelle and Steve rocked!

Wow! I am sore today. I have been enlightened and blessed with the power and beauty of the RKC system and all of its applications. Thank you!

The quality of training and knowledge of the entire staff was exceptional.

I have been thru physically demanding training via my martial art experience but never this clear and intense in terms of quality, simplicity within and immediate application.

David Martinez - personal trainer; Sacramento Ca.

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

4 years military service U.S. Army, mixed martial arts student, N.A.S.M. certified personal trainer, corrective exercise specialist, performance exercise specialist, N.C.S.F.-cpt, A.F.F.A.- cpt

This was the most practical useful certification course I have ever experienced.

Everyone knew their stuff, but did not speak in technical jargon.

I would say the quality was unmatched, I've been beaten up through exercise before but usually just for the sake of pain and suffering. I suffered but in a way that you can feel is beneficial.

Tom Klundby - Kettle Bell Class Instructor, Tire Technician; Portola, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

World class instruction, tons of practice and the best people.

Pavel is great! He is very helpful and knowledgeable. His enthusiasm is contagious.

The Sr. RKCS and team leaders are top notch!

Still the best. So many aspects have improved.

Jason Goodin - Fireman, Finish Carpentry; Oxford, N.C.

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Prior Military

RKC was a great eye opener for me as to the kettlebells ability to recruit all of the muscles of the body in just six exercises.

I received a high level of training from everyone throughout the workshop.

Higher quality through tough love and the most physically demanding course I have attended.

Mrs. Du Cane did an excellent job throughout her blocks of instruction to our group.

Bowen Reed — Engineering Student; Windsor, CA

FORMER MARINE/ EXPERIENCE IN TAEKWONDO, MCMAP, JUDO, JIU JITSU, AND WRESTLING (HIGH SCHOOL).

Physically similar but much more in depth instruction as Marine Corps boot camp.

Scott Adams - Student / Trainer; Gilroy, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

4 years varsity swimming, Whitworth University.

Even though there was an overload of information it was taught in a way that was easy to understand. The techniques were practical. Very effective, yet fast. I enjoyed it a lot.

I have never taken other courses in exercise. However, all the information that was taught (at RKC) was backed up by research examples. This makes it a lot more credible and believable.

Javier Diaz-Infante - Usability Analyst; San Jose, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

CUA

An effective program that covers the foundation exercises and proper technique of kettlebells (RKC) system.

Very clear, very effective and extremely motivational.

My first physical program. Great, top quality, highly recommend.

My team lead (Dr. Mark Cheng) was great. Very helpful in identifying areas of improvement. Great communication skills.

Zach Dickens — Student; Wichita KS

Nothing makes you work harder for your certifications as the RKC does. Butt busting, brutal course.

Incredible, the interest, and knowledge they gave us strikes me to do better each time I lay a hand on a kettlebell.

This is my first physical course I have ever taken, and I can say that no other course could be as challenging as the RKC.

Jamal Qureshi - Personal Trainer; London, England

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

I have been weight training for 14 years, done martial arts for 7years. Personal Trainer Level 3; Boxercise Instructor; Nutritional Consultant

The experience was excellent, good instructors, training was intense, enjoyed the experience. Will be back.

The RKC is very practical, other course you sit down for far to long, but with the RKC you learn so much due to the quality of the instructors, and practice till you get it right.

The RKC is best course on kettlebells well worth traveling from the UK.

Shauna Smith - Certified Personal Trainer; TUCSON, AZ

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

ACSM CPT

RKC has provided me with the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to evaluate, train and improve my clients practice and workouts using kettlebells. RKC has taught me discipline of practice, technique and training weakness, while recognizing strengths.

Pavel and all the instructors I came in direct contact with all showed great professionalism, knowledge, and dedication to the sport of kettlebell training.

The different backgrounds for the instructors made it very easy for us all to relate to them.

Not too broad — focused on covering and mastering the basics.

Easy to follow, well organized, well supplied with necessary equipment and accommodations.

Kim Micklesen — Business Owner; Seattle, WA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Distance runner I have run a 1:55 half mile. and 4:10 Mile and a sub 31 min. 10,000 meter road race and a 2hr 24min marathon.

I would say it compares only to running a marathon in difficulty. You need to be extremely well prepared before attempting the class.

Excellent I am convinced this is the truest, best form of exercise for anyone.

It is more total body encompassing and is useful for people of all ages.

Brad Mallie — Personal Trainer; Woodland Hills, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

ISSA Certified

The real deal. Not a fly by night certification. I am a trainer and it's nice to finally have something to believe in and back 100%.

Only seminar I have ever been to where I did not dismiss anything as BS.

Quality 100% better than most. 1st time I will leave (hopefully) with a certification that I know I earned and no grey area as to how to proceed in implementing this is my training of clients. Something I believe in 100%

Excellent. It's nice to be excited about training again.

Daijiro Kanase - US Army Infantry Officer; Cerritos, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Black belt Judo, 10 years experience in Kendo

The perfect blend of "cutting edge" sports science based instruction, old school exercise that has worked throughout human history, and genuine compassion towards learning/teaching in the RKC instructors.

Paul David - Health Club Owner, Personal Trainer; San Diego, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

NSCA-CPT; ACSM-HFI; MES; Z-Health Level 1;
Mountaineering

Tough, yet fulfilling. No comparison better in all regards.

Wish that the RKC was part of my collegiate curriculum, as I was going through an exercise phys. Degree. Would have established a better foundation.

I have a 7 year old son and 4 year old daughter. Just as I would love to see them do well in school, I would also like them to complete a RKC program — part of learning to be a man and a woman.

Juan Guillen - Personal trainer; Atlantic City, NJ

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Triathlons, college basketball, golf, run. Love all sports

Great way to understanding your body and how it all links together.

This has been a great experience. In just 3 days I'm leaving with a much better understanding on how the human body works as I unit, and how it needs to work together for optimum performance.

To me it's what made my experience great. I enjoyed all of the different personalities and how they each had a very unique style of teaching. I was on team Jones and I enjoyed my experience. Dan John also great.

Great experience gained lots of knowledge.

Robbie Trevino — Firefighter; San Clemente, CA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

LA City Firefighter for 20 years. Co-owner of Ocean Physical Therapy inc. In San Clemente, CA.

Pavel — watching Bruce Lee in Enter the Dragon brought back a feeling that I wish I could have met him (Bruce) to always kept that memory. He was always a person I admired for his physical ability and to meet John Saxton was someone I met that even came close to that wish or dream of meeting Bruce. John I know has taken something from his exposure to Bruce. And Mr. Pavel with his strength and ability has made me have that feeling back. Thanks to all RKC instructors.

I myself have only really trained to be a firefighter — swimming, running biking and only weight training to get by what I needed to get on the job and stay fit.

RKC would have been part of what I wish I could had twenty years ago when I started training for a firefighter. Never had anything like it.
