This past weekend was one of the greatest moments in my training career.

It made me believe in my ability more. It made me feel as though I can push myself even harder than I though I was capable of — I survived! I feel more confident in both my ability to perform the movement correctly and teach them effectively.

Joy Favuzza-Taylor, Nurse Practitioner, Bronx, NY

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Yoga Teacher

Tiring, knowledgeable, scary, appreciative, thankful, connecting with power. Awesome to watch follow students being strong. Amazing to see ordinary people turn into super powerful people and to feel that I am among the powerful too.

Seana Willis, Massage Therapist, San Diego, CA

One of the most challenging and inspiring weekends of my life. It gave me a true taste of kettlebells that was very satisfying but left me eager to have more.

What can I say, it was awe-inspiring. Everything was delivered in a clear, concise manner with ample demonstrations and time for any questions. I also liked how approachable absolutely everyone was here. I'm a bit shy and can be intimidated but I felt very comfortable and at ease asking any and all questions.

It was by far the most concise, most intensive workshop I have taken to date.

Justin Thompson, Exercise Physiologist, East Hartford, CT

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Chek HLC Lv.1; B.S. Exercise Science Southern CT State Univ.

The quality of the program was excellent. What we learned as a whole group was outstanding. I can definitely take what I've learned and apply it.

Dena Smith, Imaging Manager, Woodbury, MN

Extremely beneficial if you plan to teach as an RKC or just practice. Driving the focus on every movement helped me understand and perfect my technique. Rewarding experience that I would recommend to others.

Top notch training and over the top knowledge. Hard to believe the amount of expertise in one gym.

Mike Belan, Systems Engineer, Bethesda, MD

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

EMT, tri-athlete

RKC opened my eyes to what real strength is. The mental value of the program was equally, if not more valuable than the physical component. It is truly like drinking from a fire hose, and not wanting to miss a drop. RKC is the highest quality knowledge capably presented by the highest quality people. It has been a humbling experience — like attaining a black belt and realizing how much more you have to learn. I am proud to be associated with everyone in this "school of strength".

Joseph Thimmesh, Landscaper, St Paul, MN

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

I played a lot of league basketball. I was in the Navy Reserves for 7 years.

I thought it was exceptional. I enjoyed having the remedies and how quickly they found them. The way Pavel teaches by examples using other students is very helpful.

Valerie Dupre, Business Owner: secretarial service and desktop publishing, Forest Lake, MN

It was brutal and wonderful; extremely educational and yet made me aware of how much I need to learn. I have learned specific ways to improve my practice and avoid injury.

This far exceeded anything I've attended in the past.

I am very grateful to have been able to take part in the weekend. If I only help one person to gain strength, endurance and/or feel better about themselves, it was worth the pain.

It's been said that it takes a village to raise a child. I believe it will take an entire country to help our adults live strong, active and empowered lives all through the ageing process.

Robert Vogel, Physician, Lynchburg, VA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

College Swimmer and long distance swim races currently, Current College Swim Coach, Rode bicycle across America, Nationally ranked Tri-athlete, marathon runner

I came to the course with a rudimentary understanding of kettlebells and their value and am leaving, knowing I have a lot of work to do, but so satisfied to know I now have the knowledge to achieve that goal.

I so totally respect the deliberate thought process and ingenuity of Pavel and the way he presents material. Pavel is a rare genius in his ability to breakdown movement into the basics so it can be learned my mortals.

Hard, focused certification. Challenging and testing both mentally and physically.

I am continued to be impressed by Pavel Tsatsouline each time he shares the knowledge and practical applications that he has learned. Each Sr. Instructor seemed to have their specialty in both the way kettlebells has most affected them personally and as an instructor.

Higher level of professional aspect than other fitness conference/workshops I have attended. A continuity amongst the instructors in the knowledge they are teaching and more practical applications than I usually receive.

Paul White, Exercise Equipment Sales Manager, Mobile, AL

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Power lifting for 15 years; Training Brazilian Jiu Jtsu and Muay Thai; Personal trainer, Training individuals for upcoming strongman events; Exercise equipment sales manager

Very demanding immersion into the refining of the key moves. The knowledge I have gained I will be able to put into practice for years. WOW.

There is so much to learn about the basic moves it is mind bending. There seems to always be room for refining and better mechanics. I feel like we only touched the surface of everyone's knowledge and it was still astounding. Pavel has a fix and an effective one for any technique fault, it's amazing.

I have done a lot of demanding seminars in grappling and nothing comes close to this. I learned what I am capable of. I feel like it worked my entire body up. I will walk away feeling confident in the form for the exercises we have covered. I enjoyed hearing from different instructors and different views on the same movements.

Doug Sides, Sales, Rockford, Illinois

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Marine Corps, Executive Security Intl Grad, Certified Police officer.

I thought I was strong coming to the cert. I wasn't. I continually marveled as my strength and flexibility increased with each new drill. This is quite possibly the best strength course available.

Pavel is unsurpassed as an instructor with precise informative answers. All the Team Leaders were available for advice, suggestions and guidance at anytime. Incredibly helpful.

At the AKC cert we spent a lot of time watching. Not a lot of hands on. Not enough coaches at the time to correct techniques. At the IKFF cert the ratio was 1 instructor to 10-12 students emphasis on sport lifts and supplementary lifts. The RKC surpasses them all. The knowledge I take with me far exceeds the others.

Anthony J. Schulzetenber, Personal Trainer, Minneapolis, MN

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

College Track and Field Champion, B.A. in Exercise Science, NASM CPT, TRX certified instructor, 5 years training both NYC and Minneapolis.

The experience was what anyone who wants to teach kb's needs to do. It is hard, grueling and incredibly rewarding. The instructor I received here will help me help my clients tremendously.

Matt Griffith, Wildland Firefighter, Ely, NV

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

4 years with the Chena Hotshots, Alaska Fire Service
5 years coaching youth wrestling
4 year letterman (baseball and wrestling) in High School

The instruction and the knowledge gained was better and more comprehensive than I'd expected.

Jeff Perry, Police Union Business Agent, Orange, OH

This was an extremely intense way to catapult my knowledge and expertise into another dimension. I only hope my brain can retain, if not, the manual should take care of it.

I can't imagine how anyone could know anything beyond these teachers.

Like the sun to a matchstick.

Nick Jasken, Personal Trainer, Maplewood, MN

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

AAS in Health Fitness Specialist at Alexandria Technical College, 2007
Asst. Strength Coach, Jefferson HS, Alexandria, MN in 06-07
NASM- Certified Personal Trainer; NSCA- Certified Personal Trainer

It is worth paying $2500.00 just to become a man. I have so much more respect for myself as a trainer, and now I can use that confidence to gain more clients and eventually charge more.

I am grateful for the lineup of Team Leaders. Every one of them is truly a master at what he or she does. Their knowledge could be taught for weeks or months.

This will change my business and my life.

James Neidlinger, Occupation: Office Worker, St Paul, MN

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

10 year + student/practitioner of JKD, Mixed Martial Arts (IE-muay thai, savate, Brazillian ju-jitsu etc...) 3+years as a coach at Cornerstone Martial arts, Minneapolis.

Grueling, exhausting, exacting, enlightening, there were many "A-HA" moments. Well worth the time, money, and pain to receive the benefit of not only a wealth of knowledge of the physical culture, but a wealth of gestalt knowledge that is peripheral to that culture.

Gavin Van Vlack, Strength Conditioning Coach, New York, NY

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

15 years in the fitness industry and having extensive competition background in muay thai kickboxing. USAW performance coach

This course is of paramount importance to anyone interested in health and fitness and it's future.

Flawless without being condescending, willing to share any knowledge that they have.

Tim Retzik Crossfit Trainer, Louisville, CO

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Level one CrossFit trainer; Purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
2nd Place Colorado State Championships; 3rd place Vision Quest grappling
semi finalist at 2007 world championships

Fantastic experience, first class training, instruction and presentation.

Pavel and all the instructors have a vast amount of knowledge not only in training with kbs but on how the body works. I gain some terrific insights with my own training as well as how to train clients.

The RKC cert was the most in depth in terms of instruction and knowledge presented.

Angelo Gala, Personal Trainer / Group Fitness Instructor, Boston, MA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

NSCA-CPT, CSCS

Great experience to go through. As an instructor it taught me short cuts to correct any clients incorrect techniques that would take me years to figure on my own.

Greg Gibbons, Membership Director, Dorchester, MA

Easily one of the best experiences of my life. Very physically and mentally demanding but that was the best part as I learned a lot about myself. I'm a lot tougher than I thought Thanks Pavel and all the other instructors for the pain!

Absolutely brilliant!! The depth of their knowledge is top notch and I am a better person for it!! This was the BEST!! Nothing else is even close.

I'm just really appreciative to Dragon Door, Pavel and all the instructors for a GREAT course. Kettlebells for life!!

Amy Jurrens, English Professor, George, IA

The RKC cert. training taught me that I want to learn more. It opened me to all the possibilities/potential that I carry inside me and let me see a glimpse of it. I know now that I am strong and that I will continue to grow stronger mind, body and spirit.

The quality of training is beyond words. It was a privilege to learn from the masters of kettlebells techniques and knowledge. The instructors — from Pavel to the Sr. Instructors to the Team Leaders and the assistants shared their knowledge freely without hesitation. I felt as if I received much quality one-on-one training from the best in the field.

Ryan Toshner, Database (computer) engineer, Waukesha, WI

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Scholar All-American wrestler (2001)
Certified Strength Conditioning Specialist (2006)

Simply stated, it was THE most intense, educational, safety-aware, and exhausting 3 days of my life.

The experience and knowledge provided by all of the instructors was phenomenal. And the knowledge provided was not just in the area of kb exercise technique. Education was provided in flexibility, breathing, strength as a skill, and client-needs awareness and marketing.

I have the CSCS certification. I believe that the RKC course provided equal or better knowledge in terms of quality and scope. In terms of practical use, the RKC was far superior.

Wayne English, Builder, Huntington, MA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

I was co-captain of my high school track team. I competed in the discus and shot put. I attended the University of Massachusetts from 1971 to 1975 and was a member of the Olympic style weight lifting club until its demise in 1973. I have engaged in some form of weight training or bodybuilding off and on since I was 11 years old.

Very intensence immersion in both theory and the physical execution leading to break through understanding. Very professional well thought out course. The energy flows during the whole event was super.

Really, really excellent. "State of the art", "Best Practice" training. Pavel and the rest of the staff form an unbeatable team. The knowledge base is very deep and continues to grow.

Some take always go beyond kb's and physical training.

Keep up the excellence and the willingness to never stop improving.

Shawn Manning, Personal Fitness Trainer, Wilmington, NC

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

UNC-Chapel Hill BS-Biology
ISSA Personal Fitness Trainer-9 years

I found mind and muscle strength at RKC and now I know the two are not separate.

Pavel is without a doubt the most clear and detailed instructor I have had. He is a great communicator. The SIs and TLS were also very helpful with examples and constructive criticism.

This has been the only course I have taken where I feel like when I leave, I will be able to clearly train a client based solely on what I learned here. The system is sound and will benefit me in so many ways compared to other lectures.

Thank you. It was by far the best workshop I have attended.

Jessie Huthmaker, RKC Kettlebell Instructor and Personal Trainer, Broken Arrow, OK

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Former Bodybuilder, Fitness, and Obstacle Course competitor, USC Miss Fitness, South Carolina Power lifting state record holder. Co-founded Athlete's Arena in Columbia, SC. Worked and trained with Sorinex until moving to Broken Arrow, OK this year. Love to lift and learn!

The most focused, technical, quality training workshop anyone could attend.

I have learned how to apply kb's to my own training, but more importantly, I am fully equipped to be the key ingredient to the success of my clients.

Unmatchable! By far the most diverse yet connected range of knowledge. This workshop and instructors are like a symphony — if one were out of tune it would throw the whole thing off — but everyone meshes together to create a program based on quality, integrity and commitment.

There is seriously NO comparison! My time and money is extremely valuable to me and the RKC is a necessary investment if you want to be an expert in the field and that's what I want to be. I have wasted time and money on other things and won't again.

Bob Dudley, Consulting Sales, Medina, Ohio

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Bowling Green State University, Football 1989 - 1993, 2 Mid American Conference Championships, All Mid-American Conference 1991, 1992, 1993, Finished Cleveland Half Marathon in 2006

RKC training has prepared me to be a better trainer. The RKC community makes us more than an individual — rather — we bring the experience of the entire community to our clients.

Pavel is unbelievable. His knowledge and experience rivals none! All of the Sr. Instructors/Team Leaders were great.

RKC is second to none! Outstanding organization, professional, and no BS!

Scott Herman, Physical Education Teacher, Lenoir, N.C.

It was the most amazing and useful three days that I've ever experienced. I would come back every chance that I got.

Pavel, the Sr. Instructors and the Team Leaders were all unbelievable. I couldn't imagine having a better weekend and being surrounded by the knowledge and instruction that I was involved with. They were all here to help and instruct. They are truly an RKC family.

Mike Miles, Law Enforcement, Aurora, CO

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Lifelong fitness buff, weightlifter, volleyball player, and all around athlete. Twenty + years law enforcement experience as an Officer, Team Leader, Supervisor, and Manager for the Colorado Department of Corrections, Division of Adult Parole. I will have completed my certification as a Z-Health R Phase Instructor the week before the RKC Certification. I have BA and MBA degrees from the University of Colorado.

The course is extremely challenging yet well balanced between learning and exertion. It takes your knowledge and respect for the RKC system to a new dimension.

All the instructors were top notch, effectively conveyed the technique, and were able to explain the concepts. They had a variety of occupational and experience backgrounds that made them easy to relate to. Pavel is Pavel, he's great. My lead, Brad Nelson was very helfpful, the assistant, Court and Joe, were also very helpful.

Derek Miller, Personal Trainer, Springdale, AR

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Body Building competitor, NPC Certified, ACE Certified, AFA

"Inviting to the willing" from the time I signed up until the moment I arrived I felt like I was apart of something bigger than myself. I felt that I was part of a deity that was larger than fitness itself.

My Sr. Instructor and team leaders were friendly, patient, and strict. I thank them for their abilities. Pavel ahs a way of making my body seem like a museum, and I am able to see things that I didn't know before. It's not that he makes me feel small, but yet my body is large enough for me to stand in with plenty of breathing room. He has a level of teaching that I've barely seen at the collegiate way.

Absolutely the most practical thing I have ever learned.

Adbullah Mujib, Prep cook, Aspiring Professional Trainer, Middlebury, CT

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

High School JROTC. Training with bells since 2003. Wilderness First Responder, CPR certified

One of the single most definitive experiences of my life. This certification has taken my devotion to this practice and multiplied it ten fold. If these instructors and this ideal is what I will leave St Paul representing, this certification has shown me why.

Pavel is the dude. His simplistic explanations really drove his points home. I was amazed with his ability to explain complex principles w/a few brief sentences.

Thank you to all of the instructor staff. You all provide a brilliant example of what it means to be an RKC, I only hope that I can continue to increase my own knowledge and return and return again.

Andy Neal, Construction Nutrition Consultant, Marion, IA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

HS football, 7 months Kettlebells

Very impressed by all. Instructor Du Cane was very helpful ever step of the way and she corrected mistakes without belittling you. She was top notch.

Better than any other. Very well run, organized and structures.

Rick Giese, Self Employed, Casper, WY

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

1st degree Black Belt-Taekwon-do Certified.

Very demanding, challenging workshop that forces you to perform and learn.

The training was very in depth and enlightening. If I did not get it, that's my fault. The instructors were great.

Joe Walker, Personal Trainer/Studio Owner, Ringwood, NJ

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Collegiate Cross-Country and Track Athlete, Marathon Runner, Road Cyclist

It was one of the hardest and most rewarding experience of my life. I know that the information I learned here and the experience gained will help my clients and me for year to come, it will clearly enrich our lives.

The instruction was top notch! Again, I learned that I had so much to learn and that there is never enough to learn. Pavel is great what else can I say? David Whitley is a tremendous teacher with a "gentle" approach and he was willing to share everything he know wit us. RKCs are the models we all should strive to emulate.

There is no comparison to the RKC weekend. The quality of instructions and the overall experience was beyond anything else I've experienced.

Kendall Kriz, Tama County Secondary Road Worker, Dysart, IA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

High School wrestling, baseball and golf

It was like the best 3 day of training that you can every get and some really good workouts to. You get to meet some really neat people.

The training and knowledge that these people share with us was great they all know so much about kettlebell training that it is unreal.

Janna Castellano, Personal Trainer/ High School coach, Blaine, MN

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

All American-Pole Vault, NASM-CPT

This has been a very educational experience for both the mind and body. Money well spent! This will take me farther than any training I have had, it is the best "next step"/

I only used free weights before and had a tough time hinging from the hips, my instructors were able to change their cues and instructions to change and perfect my swing. I just wish this was longer.

A nice variety of butt kicking. The physical exercise was also a mental test for me and how far I can go. It is difficult to keep going when you think you can't, but with instructors encouraging and not letting us quit made it farther than I could have by myself.

Stephanie De Bauche, Office Manager, Montrose, MN

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritional Consultant - National Personal Training Institute

The 3 day workshop was packed with as much information as a month long course. All of the instructors are very knowledgeable and always willing to help by sharing that knowledge.

Pavel has a great often humorous way of passing on his vast knowledge of kbs. I very much enjoyed his lectures and felt the quality of this weekend should be ranked very high.

I took a personal training course which lasted a month. I felt the information provided at this workshop gave an equal if not greater amount of information/knowledge in the 3 short days by comparison of time.

I knew this would be physically and mentally demanding but I really had no idea how hard it really was going to be. I really didn't know what to expect. I really did enjoy myself and feel like I have learned so much I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Also, Andrea was an excellent instructor and made me feel very comfortable with going to her with questions.

Matt Mouser, Fitness and nutrition consultant, Bettendorf, Iowa

The RKC not only taught me how to better teach the techniques of kb to anyone regardless of skill level, but also taught me to be able to focus and push myself harder and farther.

Pavel is by far the most knowledgeable person I have ever listened to regarding physical training. All the Team Leaders were fantastic as well. One of the best things about the training is that all of the instructors were available and willing to take some individual time to help or answer questions, even Pavel!

This was by far the bet especially the practical use with any type of client. There was a tremendous amount of information over the 3 days, but the presentation was done so that it was not overwhelming.

Rick Rick III, Head Trainer, Fitness Manager, Columbus, OH

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

The industry need offering like this.

Dustin Rippetoe, Gun Range Owner, Guthrie OK

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

4 years kettlebells, 2 years RKC, 10+ years martial arts

The RKC is a life changing and demanding experience. Top-notch leaders who are wise as they are generous.

There is no comparison between the RKC and other training courses I have attended in any kind of scope of training.

Joe Petrusky Fitness Instructor, Philadelphia, PA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Platoon Fitness Instructor

This experience has taught me about a great deal. How to use my body, use the kb, to better myself, my clients, and therefore create a life using them.

Everyone as great, no egos, no one out for themselves. Everyone wanted to help. I had some serious muscle spasms in my back and at least 5 instructors gave their time to help me.

Great lectures, great demo's. Everyone was on point and professional. I really enjoyed the leaders, interaction and talking with some of my biggest industry leaders.

Scott Goguen, Construction Building Site Prep, Cedar Point, NC

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Amateur martial arts, power lifting, and bodybuilding.

It's been an enlightening experience in strength training.

At this time the by far the best training I have received in any field. I'm humbled by the level of knowledge.

Monica Blasberg, Salon & Spa Owner/Stylist, Decorah, IA

Wonderful overall experience that tests physical and mental stamina and excellent preparation of being able to now differentiate technical errors in others.

Completely exceeded my expectations! I feel very empowered by the knowledge shared with us. Also, great confidence was built for me by just being a part of this type of training with such great instructors.

I haven't attended other types of training, but feel this challenged me in many positive ways. It will benefit me in all aspects of life.

K.C. Pfluger, Children's Fitness Instructor, Woodbury, MN

Has competed in triathlons for the past 9 years up to the half-ironman distance. Owns and operates a Rolly Pollies Children's fitness and development center for children 6 months through 7 years old.

The cert was the perfect way to really learn the exercises, the way they are interconnected and the proper corrective techniques. It also clearly demonstrated the extreme effectiveness and efficiency that kettlebells have on one's strength overall fitness.

Pavel has an amazing focus and understanding of what is important for strength conditioning. He immediately cuts to the chase and keeps the discussions and instruction going towards the goal of becoming better technical kettlebells and instructors.

Tom Gentleman, Strength and Conditioning Coach, Algonquin, IL

Wendi Neal, Advocare Nutrition Consultant, Marion, IA

Athletic Achievements, training background or specialty:

Women's Professional Softball League; North Carolina Durham Dragons

Growing up I have always been involved in sports including playing in the Women's Professional softball league. With that experience I have not come across a tougher workout than what I have found with kbs. My workouts are shorter yet, more productive to feel I hit more strength of explosions.

Pavel is amazing. His knowledge about kb's but also body awareness was second to none. I appreciate his toughness yet his humor to lighten the "boot camp" feeling put fun into working out.

This workshop was awesome.
