Being a certified personal trainer myself it was very hard for me to pay someone to train me. I had read Pavel's books and seen his videos several times but couldn't understand why I was ending up straining my back when performing 2 handed swings. I found Rich through the Dragondoor search function and after one session with Rich I was totally blown away with his knowledge of kettlebells and knew I had contacted the right RKC trainer.
Rich was completely professional and had built up every session with the last one. Because of knowledge I Rich, I have now started training to become HKC certified and then work towards my RKC certification myself. Oh and my back strain with 2 handed swings is gone!

I was looking for a new way to workout and a friend of mine at the gym had just taken a kettelbell class given by Rich Kocher and said that I should try it.
I then found myself in the class from the first swing I was hooked. I have lost 53lbs and still going strong the changes that are going on with my body are awsome and Rich what can I say but thank you. He keeps every workout new and challenging I then found myself training with him once a week and looking foward to the next session and seeing an all over body change if you want to become lean, strong, and have the body you have always wanted and deserve Rich Kocher is the trainer that will get you there. He gives 100% of himself to each and every client he has and I thank him for that and changing my life in so many ways.

A kettlebell answers Rich. And so began my intensive training with Rich two years ago. I can honestly say that since then he has changed my life. It started where I was looking to get back into shape as I had let myself go and we quickly accomplished that. Through his knowledge and exceptional instruction not only have I lost over 40 lbs but I gained the confidence, drive and motivation to be where I am now; in the best shape of my life! Rich pushes me to my limits and beyond, a real partner in my fitness goals. I recommended many of my friends, even my wife, to Rich and all have had similar success stories. If you are looking for inspiration, getting fit, and a great teacher to get you there, there is no question that Rich is the right choice.

I had my first experience with kettlebells after talking to Rich about trying to achieve the "J-LO" Butt and overall toning. After two weeks of training with this Master Trainer, I lost three pounds and recieved numerous compliments about how toned I looked. Not only did Rich introduce me to the world of kettlebells (with much patience and repetition), he also showed me how to rev up my cardio routine to be more effective. The term of working "smarter, not harder" comes to mind with this trainer. Working with Rich has been a great experience and I would recommend him to anyone who is serious about improving their overall health.

wow. I winged it and called the closest rkc to me. i lucked out because rich is the real deal. i am attending an upcoming rkc and rich found some serious technique flaws. I ahould have called him months ago. I have 2 months till the rkc. part of my plan is to sell all my kb dvd's by former rkc's and pay rich for more sessions.

I spent a month and a half training with Mr. Rich Kocher. Within this time, Rich fine tuned my technique, and answered my many questions on how I approached my kettlebell exercises. Just coming out of the April 18-20 RKC certification course, I had two techniques I had to work on. On my first workout with Rich, we went to work on all of the techniques I learned in April. Rich gave praise and constructive critisim when it was needed. My only regret is that I didnot visit Rich before I went to the RKC in April! There is no doubt in my mind that I would have been better prepared. I am now ready to send in my DVD demonstrating the two techniques with full confidence and pass my RKC. Rich is an example that the RKC system works and a system that I am proud to be apart of. The knowledge that I have gained while training with Rich is knowledge I will pass onto my clients. I look forward in visiting Rich in the near future before I take the RKC level II.

I have spent the last 42 years learning and instructing martial arts, initially under the instruction of Sifu Al Dacascos. Many of my students have gone on to become instructors themselves in various universities and martial arts clubs. In addition I have been a high school teacher for the past 35 years and I spent my summer months providing instructional skill workshops for teachers. It is with this background in working with students that I can confidently say that Rich Kocher is one of the finest instructors in any physical format that I have come across. His ability to understand and "read" his clients is extraordinary. In other words, he knows what instruction to give at the right time. His toolkit of kettlebell technique seems endless. He has multiple specialties, and perhaps the strongest is his ability to inspire his clients to reach their goals and more. Rich is a very amenable, easy-going young man, and this fact only adds to making the training sessions with him both productive and enjoyable. I give Rich my highest recommendation. He is an excellent instructor.

I had my first instructional from Rich earlier today, and he kicked my butt, fine-tuned my technique and was thorough in analyzing my proficiency. He also answered my many questions in regards to cycling my workouts and was very patient. He is in fantastic shape, so he walks the walk, and is quick to praise John, Pavel, and the RKC system. His gym is very "Party", stripped down, but brutally effective. No "sissy stuff" as Pavel says. This was my first personal trainer experience, and I am glad that it was with an RKC. I can't begin to say how advantageous it is to seek out an RKC to improve your KB skills. I left feeling like I got a killer workout, and that my technique improved ten-fold. I would recommend Rich to anyone who wants quality, first-class instruction.
