Kettlebells were foreign to me before I started training with Patrick, but now I am a convert! The workouts are challenging and interesting --- much more engaging than traditional weight lifting.
I've taken classes with Patrick and have done personal training sessions with him --- he is great at both. He has a gift at getting you to push yourself without making you want to kill him. He's also very attentive --- he constantly has an eye on your form to make sure that you get the most out of the movements and avoid injury. By far, the best personal trainer I've had!
10/10 Kettlebells are just for MMA guys! Desk warriors love'em too!

I'm more of a yoga kinda gal, I wanted to try kettlebells out. I did a few sessions with Patrick and was amazed! He's fun and soft spoken, even for a dude who looks like a MMA cage guy, nice and supportive. He'll work with you, help you meet your goals and a true value for your hard earned cash. Working with Patrick this past year has been fantastic. He's helped me rehab my shoulder and made me strong with out being bulky. He's great at making my technique better, doesn't let me procrastinate, and bringing me new exercises so that I feel challenged. When I come back from traveling, I'll definitely be training with him again.

Patrick defines personal training. He was able to accomodate my busy schedule and made sure the training was always close to my home. He shaped each of the training sessions to my goals. Very quickly I was able to improve technique and strength. I highly recommend Patrick for very reasonably priced and expert instruction in San Francisco.

I broke my leg over 2 1/2 years ago on the mat. I needed to rehab my leg, drop the weight I put on and be able to withstand my black belt test. I needed to shape up fast.Patrick was my solution. He truly loves his kettlebells and wants you to join in the fun.
Over the past eight months, Patrick put me on track. So far, I've dropped over 60lbs, passed my black belt test and reclaimed my athletic body. My flexiblity is amazing, even my reserved Aikido sensei has commented on my progress. Patrick has cross trained in a few martial arts styles, and understands that strength, power, conditioning and flexiblity are key to training and all around general fitness. He's been training a few pro MMA guys too.
Patrick is a wealth of information, yet soft spoken and encouraging. He has big heart, he knows what it's like to out of shape. He's a Henry Rollins kinda guy, the approachable tough looking guy who remembers what it's like to get stuffed in a locker and what day the new comic books come out.
