Break through a Kettlebell Snatch Plateau

20-35% is a typical failure rate at the RKC instructor certification course. Failing the kettlebell snatch test is one of the reasons. The following snatch variation popular in Russia might help you get the numbers.

Snatch the kettlebell, then walk a few steps holding the kettlebell overhead. Snatch again, walk again. Repeat until I get tired. Then smoke the other arm. Do this once a week; practice other types of snatches on your other training days. Build up to five sets per arm.

The drill will help you develop a flexible, solid lockout that will enable you to rest between reps.

Russian kettlebell power to you!
