10/10 Mr. Engum ROCK's

By Allen Smith / Brainerd, MN

Mr. Engum knows his stuff. This is the first workout system that seemed to give me a total body workout and results were above what was expected. Mr. Engum gave expert instruction and was able to relate to all the various levels of fitness in our course. I would reccomend this system to anyone who is serious about getting results.

10/10 Kettlebells changed my life!

By Connie Meyers / Brainerd, MN USA

I started taking kettlebells two years ago with Jon Engum. He did an excellent job of teaching us the techniques and ALWAYS stressed how to do each technique safely. He finds ways to make us challenge ourselves to new levels of strength and endurance. I have lost over 35 pounds since working out with Kettlebells. My strength has improved a lot. The main difference that I've noticed is in my endurance level. I weight lifted and did martial arts for over 10 years, but never had the results that I've had from Kettle bells.

10/10 Basics Are Best

By Rick Karboviak, CSCS / Thief River Falls, MN USA

I went to one of Jon's first workshops in Fargo, ND, and it was probably the best hands-on workshop I ever took part in! As a CSCS myself, Jon explained things simple, well, and to the point. No BS, just flat-out, top-notch instruction on the basics of kettlebell training and its unique lifts. Because of this workshop's impact on me, I later decided to fully enter into my own training business venture, and focused on kettlebell training as the 'main attraction' with my services. 18 months later, and my athletes are loving the effects that the simple swings, cleans, and snatches deliver to their athletic power production. I even developed a fat-loss protocol for my clients by using these techniques. Jon laid quite the foundation for me with his quality instruction.
More Power to Jon!

10/10 Bells of Fury!

By David Goos / Baxter, MN 56425

I have been working with kettlebells for only a short time and have just scratched the surface of what I can do with them. Jon's classes have shown me the potential of what is possible and how much further I can go to achieve my goals in fitness. I am leaner and stronger than I was with the traditional lifting programs I had been using and have more endurance than I have ever had for use in all my activities even at age 44. I'm recommending Jon to all of my friends who want to stay active at a high level!

10/10 Kettlebells

By Calvin Hanson / Deerwood, United States

It was nice to have an instructor that really knew what he was doing. And I also liked how he was nice to all of the students while learning the excersizes.

45 Seconds, 1 Kettlebell Exercise and a 37% Boost in Power—Senior RKC Secrets from the Frozen Tundra

Nov 19, 2011 12:00 AM

Jon Engum: I discovered kettlebells through flexibility training. I’ve been a martial artist since age 8, and opened my own gym in 1991. I got my first black belt at the age of 12. It’s all I do, it’s all I’ve been doing, it’s all I know. Dragon Door: What style of martial arts? Jon Engum: Tae Kwon Do, Korean style martial arts... I study three different ones. Early in my career I was a competitor and I liken it to being a rodeo cowboy. You train really hard all week long, then travel...

Armbar Secrets Unclassified: Supercharged Roundhouse

Aug 04, 2011 02:00 AM

“Give me your strongest most powerful kicker and you’ll see the power of their kick improve by at least 15 %.” Speaking to a room full of Martial Artists who were skeptical of kettlebell training I was there to convince them that they too, could improve their sport of choice with kettlebells. The volunteer had been kicking since a young age with several championship titles under his belt was ready to go and true to my word, in less than a minute, he had increased his power by...
