Jason's kettlebells class has actually made me look forward to an exercise class. It's a great workout and Jason keeps it interesting week after week. He has a very impressive memory for what exercises he has taught to what people and for what their strengths and weaknesses are.

Kettlebell workouts are now an integral part of my life because of Jason's personalized approach to training his clients. He really knows the human body (and all of the ways we've messed ours up) and helps to correct deficiencies in strength, mobility and balance. I've improved my technique and confidence tremendously in the months I've been trained in proper kettlebell use. His choice of music is pretty good too. I highly recommend signing up for his classes.

Jason is really friendly, patient, and encouraging. Even if you're totally new to something, he breaks it down in a way you can follow. It's a fun workout!
10/10 Jason Schreiber is a first-rate instructor

Jason Schreiber is a first-rate instructor. I was just getting started with kettlebells when I first went to see Jason, and he provided excellent instruction on how to properly execute the various moves with kettlebells. He also does a great job of keeping things exciting, by providing a wide variety of exercises, so we aren't just doing the same old tired exercises week after week. Thanks to Jason, I now feel confident in working with kettlebells. I've lost 20 lbs since January, and I feel great. The only exercising I've done in that time has been kettlebells, so I know that it's due to the kettlebell training. I haven't even been that disciplined in staying on top of it, varying from 0-3 times / week (although usually 2-3/week). I highly recommend kettlebell training, and if you're going to give it a try, go see Jason. He's outstanding.

Jason is a great instructor. His success can be measured by rivers of sweat, increased stamina and strength. As in instructor he creates a fantastic mix of routines rooted in cardio and weight training. He adds new exercises regularly while emphasizing form and encouraging progress. Somehow he manages to create workouts tailored to the individual in a class environment. Who could ask for more?

Jason is a fantastic instructor. A friend of mine turned me on to kettle bells during a vacation and suggested if I wanted to get into it to find a trainer. I found Jason online and found him perfect for what I needed. The classes are small and affordable and there is plenty of individualized attention. The training is really addictive - a combination of strength training and aerobic training at the same time. I bought some kettle bells and have integrated this training into my weekly routines so I am now working out with them 3x/week. I highly recommend it.

So much fun! Jason is really great - he's really informed and explains the workout to us in detail so that we understand what muscles we are using when - without boring us. He also pays attention to everyone so we are getting it right but does so without embarrassing anyone. Really great instructor!

I am in the beginning Kettlebell class at Montgomery East County Recreation Center. Excellent workout, one of the best. Jason is very clear in his instruction and he has tremeendous patience. I am over 50 years ago and I want to strengthen my core. I noticed a difference. I will continue to take additional classes.

I have been taking Kettlebells for more than a year, but only for a month with Jason. He explains the technical aspects of moves very well and gives good correction. His classes are challenging and there is a good camaraderie among class members. I will continue coming -it is nice to have different instructors with different techniques. It keeps the workouts varied which keeps me from getting bored. Kettlebells is an awesome workout everyone should experience.

I started taking Kettlebell classes with Jason S. after a running injury kept me from running for several months. I needed to strengthen my core to keep from reinjurying myself and I needed to find other forms of exercise. I love the class! Jason is a great instructor. He keeps the class moving so you get a workout while you learn the movements. He explains the movements well and monitors class participants to ensure proper execution. He is very knowledgeable and can advise you on how to use Kettlebell training to best suit your current need.

I found MKB through a Groupon and wanted to review my form and movement through the exercises. Jason is a great instructor. His breakdown of the exercises is just what I needed. He's professional, meticulous, highly knowledgable, and definitely dedicated to injury prevention. Highly recommend the beginner classes to anyone interested in KBs. He has put the fire back in my belly.
10/10 Excellent Detailed Instructor!!!

Jason is very detailed in his teaching style and makes it easier to understand each movement as he breaks down the complete exercise into drills. These drills are effective when executing the multi-step movements with KBs.
If you are new to KB training, you want Jason on your side.
10/10 Believe these reviews
By Steve Randolph

Sometimes you read a series of reviews and, when they're all 10's, you dismiss them as unrealistic. "This guy can't be that good." In this case, believe me he is.
I've been training one-on-one with Jason for seven months and my strength and fitness gains have been life[style]saving. At 47, I was completely sidelined from an active recreational lifestyle. I had a surgical-candidate sports hernia from years of playing Ice Hockey with various strength and flexibility imbalances. I had sudden-onset back pain from a couple of torn disks that decided they'd had enough of skiing, mountain biking, Judo, running who knows? It was time for me to get serious about functional training and conditioning if I wanted to be able to do what I love and keep up with my athletic pre-teens as they grow. Beginning with successful SH rehabilitation and progressing to core-strengthening, mobility, posture, and flexibility, Jason has guided me back to a level where I am playing better than ever and has helped me reduce my back pain to something manageable. He is truly a student of the science of biomechanics and is able to communicate the nuances of optimal movement patterns very effectively. He is open-minded and very adaptive in his approach. He collaborates well with his students as we learn advanced KB techniques. The swings, snatches, get-ups, cleans, presses, squats, etc. that I have learned from Jason are now a core component of my regular workouts. Yet, there is always something new to learn or improve. Trainers who are this good usually move on to bigger and better things. Catch him while you can!
10/10 Just what I needed

Occasionally, you get lucky and meet the right person at the right time; that's what was in my mind when I finished my first kettlebell routine with Jason Schreiber back in the summer of 2009. I was frustrated; I was working out regularly, with a boxing workout that I love doing, and some half-hearted exercises on my own at my fitness center, but getting nowhere fast. At 53, I wasn't planning to set any records, but I always seemed to be dealing with minor issues that slowed me down...forearm tendonitis, achy lower back. Working regularly with Jason and his core-focused kettlebell routine seems to keep these minor aches under control, and has become the backbone of my workout routine. I appreciate his skill and patience in demonstrating moves, and providing feedback on my workout. But it's Jason's infectious enthusiasm that really keeps me coming back...with an occasional 1.5 hour commute to get to kettlebell class, I need that!
10/10 Jason's approach to teaching is natural

Jason has made weight lifting for me, a female triathlete and marathoner, enjoyable and also less intimidating. As someone who prefers to do most of her training outside and away from the weight room Jason has gotten me to see the importance of incorporating weightlifting (kettle bells) into my weekly routine. It has not only helped me in other disciplines but it has also helped build my confidence as an athlete. Jason has found a way to get me into a room with male athletes and has encouraged me to not be scared of working out with them, but also not to be scared to use the same weights as them if I could. I have never been stronger and I have kettle bells and Jason's instruction and encouragement to thank.
10/10 Fun and Exciting...NEVER a Dull Moment!

I have worked with Jason on and off for several years, both in a personal and small group training environment. What fascinates me is his teaching ability. He can take a group of people, and not only find ways to encourage group cohesion despite fitness differences, but he also finds ways to give individuals within the group variations of movements specific to their ability level. In addition to his outstanding personality and teaching skill, his classes are rarely the same. Sometimes he may use high-tension drills, training for absolute strength, while other times he uses timed-intervals for conditioning, or circuits and training ladders for high volume work. He is constantly growing as an instructor, and I believe he will be nationally known within the next several years!

It goes without saying that Jason's 12 years of experience shines through in his kettlebell training. Whether he has 1 client, or a class of 20, he can spot imbalance and weakness almost immediately, offering corrective drills, exercises, and technique as effective treatment. His knowledge, experience, and passion are second to none. But what REALLY stands out is his personality. No other trainer has ever been able to so seamlessly lead, motivate, and instruct people of such diversity, with so much ease and joy, that there is no doubt he has found his life's purpose

Jason is very detailed in his instruction and breaks down the complete exercise into drills. I found the drills very helpful and a good approach for a multi-step exercise. When there is a lot to remember in each step, Jason takes the time to reinstruct.

Jason is a model instructor. He has understood the type of training I was looking to do before I could had even figured it out.
He has helped me in the areas I have wanted to improve tremendously. My body has changed, I have become stronger, more flexible and more conditioned for my sport, and life.
In my opinion, Jason is a very knowledgeable and capable young man, who can definitely train any person by finding weakness and improving them.
I definitely categorize him as a great instructor.

I have only had Jason for a couple of sessions (though this is not my first kettle bell class). I like the class, and he is an encouraging and well thought out instructor. I will come back and learn more from him and I would encourage others to do the same.
He cares about his students.

As I take Jason's kettlebell class, it is clear that he is always thinking. He takes us through an always varying regimen with lots of energy and focus on form. I came to exercise late in life (age 57); nevertheless he makes me feel welcome. He coaches me on strength training that has clearly increased my flexibility and strength that are so important for ease of everyday living now. I am confident this will have a major positive impact on my quality of life as I continue to age.
10/10 A brilliant instructor!

Jason is one of those individuals who is not only very passionate about kettlebells and the strength & conditioning world, but he also has that gifted ability to teach it very well as well.
In addition to being extremely knowledgeable in the Hardstyle method of training, he is also very up to date with his understanding of human physiology. I came to him with poor bio-mechanics, with not being able to perform a proper squat or a proper swing. Through a movement examination/screen, he picked out the problem areas, fixed them immediately, and even taught me assistance exercises I could perform on my own at home.
When I come to think of it, Jason is honestly the best fitness professional I have ever come in contact with. His workouts will kick your butt into shape. Due to his emphasis on executing proper technique for maximum efficiency and safety, you will notice pleasing results literally overnight. I HIGHLY recommend a class with him, with absolutely zero reserves. You will have little to lose, and you will see exactly what I mean.
