John was one of the instructors for a kettlebell class for a group of firefighters in Connecticut.
He took the time and had the patience to make sure we did each step properly to avoid injury. He clearly took an interest in his students and it was evident that he was eager to share his knowledge.
He was quick to point out when we got it right and encouraged us to try a little harder when we needed to.
There is no slacking when John is around...he makes sure your muscles are tight and you get the most out of each movement.
John, thank you for showing us how to live healtier and perform our jobs better while avoiding injury.

It would be hard to find an RKC Instructor that genuinely wants you to perfect the movements more then John does! He has a great knack for the dynamics of the movement / exercise as well as the overall health and wellness that goes along with his training. John contours the workout to the individuals with a great crawl-walk-run progression. Never the same morning twice. His energy and enthusiasm are contagious. Im hooked--Thnx John.

I met John at the RKC II training a number of months ago. He and I stood next to each other doing a snatch VO2-Max drill. If you know what this is, you have sympathy for us. If you do not, imagine snatching straight for 40 mins with almost no break (ouch). John had blood blisters on both hands, after around 100 snatches, they started to break. His hands were covered in blood, but he kept going. The kicker was, he did not complain and finished the drill with excellent form and a smile on his face. John is a perfect example of what every RKC should aspire to be. He pay's close attention to his students, seeking the best way to teach while keeping a good sense of humor. He is strong and an all around awesome teacher. He is really THE BEST. Train with him and you will not be sorry.

The Best Work Out Ever

Words can't describe the feeling I get after having completed one of John's tailored work out's. He has an unbelievable ability to find out what it is you need to better your health with the use of Kettle Bell Training. I wish I would have heard about him sooner. It's gotten to the point where I will be completely spent at the end of a session and by the time I get home I'm already looking forward to the next work out. I'm forty two years old and as weird as it sounds I feel like I'm getting younger.I coach my kids sports teams and recently I find myself more active and getting more involved in there practices. It doesn't get any better than that. Thanks John

"train like an athlete, not like a hamster"
Rated 10 out of 10
i am an emergency & sports medicine physician who has trained with john for about 6 months using kettlebells. during that time, i have given up my other work-out routines & now train exclusively w/kettlebells. the work-outs are short yet extremely effective. i am stronger & fitter than i was on my previous routine and my stamina/aerobic capacity has improved greatly. kettlebells are dynamic & practical. they provide funtional strength that crosses over to all the other areas of my life.
john knows his stuff & works constantly on technique which is essential w/kettlebells to avoid injury. his approach is no bs, but always encouraging.
if you're tired of training like a hamster, endlessly running on treadmills & riding stationary bikes w/out results, then start training like an athlete.
go see john. he'll show you what it's like to be really fit for life.
