Stewart Carroll MS,CSCS,RKCII --- I specialize in kettlebell training and yoga. I also have a background in Chinese Medicine, trigger point therapy, Russian mobility drills, postural issues, bio mechanics, physical training and athletic performance in general. Some of my professional accreditations include: • Russian Kettlebell Certified – RKC Level II • American Kettlebell Coach – certified under Valery Fedorenko • Yoga Instructor – trained under Himalayan Yoga Master, Yogi Agnivesh, Ph.D • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) • USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified with the Red Cross. • Trained extensively in Thai Boxing, Western Boxing, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu • B.A. from Wesleyan University • New York State Licensed Acupuncturist • M.S. dual Master’s in Science and Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine • Post-graduate study in China • Former AAU National Basketball champion and NCAA Basketball player • NSCA delegate on Strength Training cultural exchange to 4 cities in China

Stewart and I became fast friends at one of the RKC certifications. So we learned and worked hard together,hung out and helped each other out, and this is the sense I get of Stewart --
Besides being an outstanding athlete and trainer, Stewart is a fine healer and it's been a pleasure watching him facilitate his client's well-being, be it through acupuncture or Kettlebell practice.
Stewart is driven by a compassionate heart and open mind, and it shows in his practice, his results speak for themselves !

I have trained with Stewart in kettlebells for the last 6 months. I came to him with some very specific goals and a few injuries. He focused my training in a well balanced way so that we strengthened my weak areas while still toning my target areas. The workouts he devised were focused, well planned and fun! My body feels the strongest it has ever felt, my posture is better and people keep telling me I look amazing!!! Now thats results!!!!

Stewart Carroll is a phenomenal kettle bell instructor and strength coach. He has motivated me to push new limits with my training regimen in a safe and effective manner. When I came to Stewart I was in a pretty low place in my life, and I also came with a specific goal in mind. (Primitive back packing in Alaska)
Stewart has taught me to breath, to relax, and to find my power. He has built up my endurance through not only kettle bell and strength coaching but also using yoga and breathing techniques. After years of serious mountain climbing, after over-stretching in Yoga, and over training in martial arts, I looked for a treatment modality that could offer me a healing cure through active movement.

Stewart Carroll had to be sent by Heaven; his Zen-like calm, immense wisdom, brilliant understanding, and saint-like patience took 15 years out of my bones and muscles almost immediately, vanished the arthritic pain, and gave me the mobility of a teenager. Not to mention the face lift that happens due to happiness when you feel so strong you can climb Kilimanjaro, and K2.
The training is not easy; at times it reminds of a bitter medicine pill that tastes strong, but offers continuous cure. Stick to it. It will change your life, and will offer you self trust, confidence, and youth, and joy.

I'm very pleased to have chosen Stewart to guide me into the world of Kettlebells. I found Stewarts method of complimenting Kettlebell training with Yoga to be an awesome synergy for devloping overall strength and flexability. At times I found the Yoga to be more demanding then the Kettlebell excercises!

When it comes to developing a strong body Stewart knows what he's talking about. If your're looking to take your training to the next level I would highly recommend Stewart to help you make that leap.

Ketyoga Rated 10 out of 10
Working with Stewart has been a real privilege. I was looking for someone to help me with my breathing, strength and flexibility and he has been aces on all counts. I am involved in yoga and tai chi and have found that his specific training has not only helped these practices but my overall strength flexibility and posture. The combination of yoga and kettlebells or Ketyoga is really challenging but very satisfying as well. When i leave a workout stewart has gotten everything out of me that I have but I feel energized from the experience. I should also note that I found stewart by looking in this section of instructor reviews myself.
