Strength and conditioning coach at Combat Sports Academy Copenhagen, www.csa.dk, and former active duty officer in the Danish Army Recce Batallion. I have had intensive training as a physical training instructor within the army and have since added the RKC certification, Functional Movement Screen Specialist as well as working with some of the best physical trainers in Denmark.
I've used kettlebells and the HardStyle methology to get elite soldiers, fighters as well as the average Joe and Jane into peak performance. I've used them during deployment to Helmand Province, Afghanistan, serving as Platoon Leader for a Light Recce Platoon, as a means to stay fighting fit. Let's just say they more than proved their worth.
I started training with kettlebells i 2005 with instruction from the RKCs Kenneth Jay and Tommy Eli. The year after I signed up for the RKC certification and enjoyed the experience immensely. I've since had the honor and pleasure to assist at the Copenhagen certifications in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
In 2007 I started my studies at the Department of Exercise Science, Copenhagen University, and began coaching athletes outside the military. Since then I've had the pleasure of working with kickboxers, BJJ-fighters, boxers, mixed martial artists, firefighters, police officers, crossfitters, coorporate executives, housewifes, elderly, soccer players, judokas and more. I also teach personal trainers strength training technique, conditioning, programming for strength and functional training.

Great all-around instructor
Rated 10 out of 10
I've always been very pleased with Dennis as an instructor, and have taken his kettlebell classes at the CSA academy on and off for the past year and a half or so. He's strict but fair and will push you to your limit, which for me is a great quality.
He's also helped me out a bit more personally by setting up a every-day diet plan for me, as opposed to my "eat what i want and then crash diet before competition". It has worked very well for me, getting my down to my desired competition weight and staying there. He's been very quick to answer any questions i may have and offer support.
In summation Dennis has a great overall knowledge of anything related to health and strength/condition training. I couldn't be happier to have him around to help me when i need it.

Top-notch

Dennis will provide you with a tough workout reminiscent of the kettlebells that you'll be using: Hard, heavy and well-rounded. Dennis draws on vast experience to teach proper form and makes sure you are working with the right weight to achieve results, and I am happy to recommend him based on my personal experience of a gruelling, intelligent workout under his watchful eyes. A top-notch instructor who will push you to your best.

Good Coach
Rated 9 out of 10
Dennis is a good coach for not only being able to coach but also because he leads by example.
He seems to always be in a constant flux of learning more about this wonderful field of physical training and human performance (which by the way is a very good trait and one that more coaches need live by).
Dennis was the first RKC to help me with my Kettlebell training when I was preparing for the RKC.

Peerless!
Rated 10 out of 10
Dennis Frisch is perhaps the most dedicated and attentive RKC instructor I've ever seen assisting at an RKC event. The success of Team Cheng during the 2009 Danish certification is in large part due to his intense focus on the students' well being and optimal learning.
Unlike others who've achieved certain physical levels, Dennis is absolutely humble and eager to identify & correct any deficiencies in his own understanding or execution of kettlebell training. Such strength of character is an asset that makes him stand head and shoulders above other instructors.
I strongly recommend you seek him out for training, as I would have no compunction about sending my own son to train with him!

elite fitness

Coming from a back ground in track and field (400 m sprint) I thought I had seen it all and no workout could phase me. Then I met Dennis and his set of kettlebells!!
Dennis defines the spirit of a true competitor; ceaseless dedication to improvement no matter how good you have become..you can always be better. A true asset in the gym.

Coach with extraordinary knowledge and focus
Rated 10 out of 10
Working with many different types of sport (e.g. Running, Swimming and especially Capoeira) it is necessary for me to focus on a variety of movement patterns and muscle groups - you may notice that i am not an expert in functional movement. Luckily, I feel I am training under a coach that is; Dennis always being exceptionally mindful of the totality of fitness and mobility and the interconnectedness that exists between most/all sports. I have benefitted greatly from his training - and continue to do so - by not only being able to see a steadily improvement of my ability with kettlebells, but by the amazing transferability of Dennis' training into other sports. A coach that truly understands the spirit of fitness and movement.

Mission Impossible
Rated 10 out of 10
Everyone who saw my bent press on RKC 2 in St. Paul, would say, poor Holger Danske, he will never do the bent press. The reason was lack of mobility in shoulder and spine. Nothing to do!! Dennis tested me, found the problems, gave me some specific exercises, which I had to do several times a day. So I did. And now I have a mobility in my shoulder and spine as if I was a 15 year young Russian gymnastic girl. I am not 15, not Russian and have never been a girl, but I am a comrade of Dennis and he did what was not possible. One month later he tested me again and watched my bent press and its OK, he said. How do I rate Dennis? In the top!

Dennis helped changing my life
Rated 10 out of 10
I was up to a huge turn around in my life. I had decided to change my habit of overeating and under exercising and that's when I meet Dennis. Dennis had for me the perfect mix of understanding on one side and the ability to put full pressure on you on the other side. Dennis helped me understand the importance of exercise and the beauty of kettlebells and cross training. Further more Dennis helped me involve my whole family. Interesting to experience a trainer that understands a 43 years old banker, his wife and his to teenage boys right from the start.
