Andy drives me nuts!
Rated 10 out of 10
But in a good way. He always encourages you to do more and more and more and more. But, he is patient and I need all the encouragement I can get. I have not known a more enthusiastic and positive motivator than Andy.
Andy makes the training fun and interesting. I now have a couple of kettlebells in the living room to play with while watching TV.

I have had a couple of lessons from Andy, and I can really tell how the kettlebell is going to help me improve my overall fitness and help my shoulders feel better.
I would recommend kettlebells and Andy to anyone who wants to get more fit.

Helped to understand my potential

Andy is a great instructor. When I started with him, it was on a whim to try something new. I really had never worked out before and did not know much about the different muscle groups and their importance. In the end, after several lessons with him (feeling every swing and every military press of each workout) I wanted to quit because of the aches. Andy talked with me and helped me understand the difference between pain from an injury and the aches of a good workout. He helped me to appreciate the effectiveness of kettlebell workouts and after a few more workouts even the aches went away and my normal everyday activities even started to become easier for me.
After Andy was done with me, I had the glutes that got me my wife! :)

Andy is a one of a kind trainer. He takes the time to explain the purpose behind each exercise, and is patient with all the questions you ask. He really helped out with my 'workout confidence', and encouraged me every step of the way. I highly recommend him!

Before I met Andy I had a lot of back problems from a car accident I was in a few years ago, but through proper training with Andy I have noticed a huge increase in the strength of my back and my over all strength.
I would recommend him to anyone who wants to increase there strength or may even have specific needs.

I never had much motivation to work out and push my limits until I met Andy. He is an exceptional teacher and personal trainer, he took the time to make sure that I understood why we did certain things and how to do them correctly. I always felt motivated and safe when working with Andy.
I would recommend him to anyone who wants to learn great form and function no matter what skill level you feel your at.

Andy's enthusiasm and knowledge for kettlebells and core conditioning is boundless. Every time i see him I learn something new. He is an excellent teacher and very patient. I have witnessed his ability to impart his vast knowledge on pupils of every skill level.
I would recommend his kettlebell boot camps to anybody interested in expanding upon their level of fitness. His attention to detail on form and safety makes his classes safe and fun.

I have taken two Kettlebell and two Bootcamp classes with Andy so far and I have thoroughly enjoyed them all. Andy is an extremely knowledgeable and motivating instructor who challenges you to push yourself just a little bit farther than you think you are capable of thereby helping you achieve the goals/results you are striving for.
He is constantly instructing us in proper form to avoid injury and to get the most out of the exercises, plus he continually stresses the importance of nutrition in achieving your fitness goals. I have taken traditional weightlifting and group exercise classes before, but they weren't as fun, engaging or educational as Andy's classes have proved to be. I have definitely improved my upper body strength as well as my overall fitness level. I would highly recommend Andy's classes to anyone, whether novice or seasoned pro, as I believe they will enjoy a great fitness experience with great results!

Parker, CO Kettlebells

My wife introduced me to kettlebells after taking Boot Camp from Andy. At first I was hesitant about kettlebells due to having shoulder surgery several years ago and I was worried about re-injuring the shoulder. Andy takes the time in introducing new kettlebellers to the right way to kettlebell--breathing, grip, abs, everything. I quickly found through kettlebells that I could increase kettlebell size and strengthen my shoulder without injury or pain. Andy and Kettlebells has been great for improving my strength and confidence in not re-injuring myself.
Following my first kettlebell class with Andy, I have purchased my own Dragon Door kettlebells and continue training between sessions with Andy. Andy is only the second personal-type trainer I have used but Andy's knowledge, background, and varied training regimen brings new life to what could be routine. Thanks Andy.

Great Kettlebell Instructor!
Rated 10 out of 10
I was first introduced to the kettlebells by Andy in Bootcamp. My first thought was: Wow! Something different and new! I have now taken two Kettlebell classes and thoroughly enjoy them - even if I haven't mastered all the moves yet.
Andy is very patient and extremely knowledgeable. He doesn't mind re-instructing his students to insure we get it right and get the best workout possible.
I would highly recommend both Andy's kettlebell classes and his bootcamps. He is an exceptional and caring fitness instructor.

Feelin' stronger ev'ry day...
Rated 10 out of 10
Early this year, Andy introduced me to the kettlebell in his womens bootcamp class. At that time, I wasn't too impressed with it. However, this summer, I took a 2 week kettlebell class with him and all through the first class I thought, "this is easy, just bend your knees and swing the ball around". When the class ended, I realized that my arms and legs felt like rubber and wondered if I could make it back to my car! During the two-week course, I became more proficient at performing the exercises. I also felt stronger and looked a little leaner.
Andy's kettlebell workouts are safe, fun and challenging; whether you're a novice or a veteran. Each exercise is designed to engage more than one muscle group, thereby minimizing the time you spend working out (one hour or less is all it takes). I would not hesitate to take another kettlebell class from Andy. If you live in or near Parker, and are interested in a kettlebell class, contact Andy!

Kettle What?
Rated 10 out of 10
Kettle what? I asked Andy...I had never heard of them before. After Andy's introduction of the kettlebells in class, I thought wow this is something new and different and great for core strenthening (so he said?) so I was very interested in what they had to offer.
Andy taught us so many different ways to use them from the Squat Press, Snatch, the High Pulls and the Clean and Press to the Turkish Get up. It is a whole odd "new" form of working out. I have had nothing but success using the kettlebells.
I have this uncanny ability now to snap back from injuries from softball and have had major improvements in my swing. Andy is a great instructor, he is very dedicated, knowledgeable and patient. His passion for instructing/teaching shows!
Thanks Andy!

Parker Kettle Bell Instructor = Measureable Results
Rated 9 out of 10
My experience with Andy's class has been very positive one. I am finding measureable improvement of my total body strength and general fitness.
Classes are relaxed and allow individuals to work on their technique, yet are paced in such a way that you push yourself to a higher level in your training development with each session.
Andy's style brings insight into the history of kettle bell training, demonstrates high level movements to inspire our ourselves, and allows the class to work together and inspire one another with postive re-inforcement and open dialogue.
My decision to do this class has been money well spent. Seeing results, being outdoors to work out, and Andy's understanding of this regiment is worth your while.

Kettlebells = Total Body Fitness!
Rated 10 out of 10
My goal was to lose a few pounds so that I could run faster. I had no idea that I would get so much stronger than I ever thought possible *and* lose inches.
I am running and cycling faster than ever now. I just finished the Mt. Evans Ascent (Colorado) race (14.5 miles uphill to the summit of Mt. Evans). I felt very strong thanks to the amazing workouts with Andy.
I have given up the lose a few pounds idea because Andy has shown us that smart workouts and eating right is the best combination to get in the best shape possible. The bathroom scale means nothing to me now. If I can not swing 200 - 300 times and go for 5 mile run , I know that I am getting out of shape.
Andy is very knowledgeable and patient. He demonstrates all exercises before he has us execute them. He has an assortment of weights so people with various levels of experience or no experience at all with kettlebells can get a great work out.
I have my first set of 12KG red kettlebells and I love them. Even if I only have 30 minutes in the morning to workout, Andy has shown us sets that will give us a tremendous workout.
Thank you Andy!

Patient and very skilled KB instructor

....cannon balls with handles is how I explained them to my husband. It felt like an impossible concept. However, after spending time in Andy's KB class, I've decided that there is absolutely NO better way to work out. Andy is very patient and will take time to make sure you get the correct techniques down. He is a gentle, positive coach. He is amazingly knowledgeable on health and the body's responses to different types of exercise and diet. Andy makes our classes challenging and fun. With KBs my strength has improved dramatically. In my book there has never been a more efficient way to exercise. I definately would recommend coming to one (or more) of his classes!!

Have Kettlebell, Will Travel!

Andy came down to Castle Rock with several kettlebells in tow - including a 70 pounder! I had been watching and reading ETK, but wanted feedback on my form. Andy supplied that in an amazingly positive manner. I felt so solid on my form by the end, that when he encouraged me to push press the 70 lb KB, I popped it right up (ok, it was a BIG push). He knows his stuff, and gives it to you without holding back anything. After my lesson was over, he took his own time to show me a few Taekwondo moves - he cares about what he teaches and the enthusiasm is infectious!
Andy has a caring and empowering approach to teaching - something I didn't expect based on my previous experiences in big gyms (which is why I never lasted long in them). Six months later, and I'm still doing kettlebells - injury free - which definitely tells me that what I learned was correct in every sense of the word - Thanks Andy! (too bad there's no 11 on the rating scale)

Andy does a wonderful job with kettle bell instruction. I had never worked with kettle bells prior to attending Andy's classes, but his approach was great. We began with basic exercises and grew into more complex workouts. At the end of the first week we completed a timed "300" test; at the end of four weeks we repeated the test - our entire group improved our times by over 30%! I feel dramatic improvement in my strength and love the workouts! The enviornment Andy creates and the knowledge he imparts is top notch. Anyone considering Andy as a KB instructor should absolutely do it. I wish I had more time to participate.

Great kettlebell instructor in Parker, CO
Rated 9 out of 10
For me, Andy has been a great kettlebell instructor. At first, I was a bit skeptical that a person of my size (5' 5", 118 lbs) could even attempt to workout with something like a kettlebell. The first time I picked one up, again, skeptical. But after a few classes and some instruction from Andy, I began to get the hang of it. There are two people in his co-ed class that hadn't taken any of his classes before (me being one of them) and he's taken the time to make sure we have proper form so we can get the most out of our workouts.

I wasn't exactly sure what to expect when I signed up for Andy's kettlebell class, but no regrets! He (and his son) took the time to really explain the proper way to utilize the kettlebells so they would be effective and safe. They really are an amazing workout, and between Andy's boot camp and the kettlebell class, I've become so much stronger and healthier.
Thanks for the time you devote to our fitness, Andy. You're great!

No one better!
Rated 10 out of 10
Before Andy's class I had worked out sporadically. I would be into it for awhile then lose interest as it became boring repeating the same things and not seeing much change in strength or endurance. As I start my 3rd year of Andy's bootcamp and kettlebell classes, I can't imagine not having it in my life. Not only does he keep it interesting by having every day different, he pushes me in ways I never would have thought possible before. When we first started kettlebells I thought the 8kg bell was where I would stay forever. The bigger ones seemed so ominous and so... BIG. But with proper technique and Andy's encouragement I have left that 8 behind and keep moving onward and upward. I didn't think it was possible but he did, and he pushed me to challenge myself. He is very good at motivating and getting more out of you than you think you can do. Not only that, but he is always so well informed, I know the information I get from him is the most current and truthful in the industry. He doesn't pepper his classes with tired, old exercise cliches' about lactic acid or squats being bad for you. This man knows his stuff. If you have an opportunity to take a class from him-DO IT!

Thank you Andy for introducing me to kettlebells!! I use to be scared of them, but now I've really started to love working with them. When I first heard of them I always wondered how in the world can I get a full body workout using a cannon ball with a handle? Now I know that not only can you get full body workout but plenty of cardio too. Thanks again Andy!! I love it!

My wife introduced me to kettlebells but I was reluctant to do them because I hurt my lower back. Andy gave me a few lessons and showed me how to do the movements correctly and no more back pain. I started out slow because I was afraid of injury but within a couple weeks I gained more confidence and have now progressed quickly. I look forward to working with Andy again and learning more from him. He is a great instructor and knows his stuff.

Motivating Instructor!

I knew nothing about Kettlebells a year ago....and last weekend I competed in a local Long-cycle Snatch and Clean & Jerk Kettlebell competition and took first place in the women's 12kg. I couldn't have done this with out Andy's instruction and motivation.
I started working out with Andy in early last year and was introduced to kettlebells through his Boot Camp classes and then last summer I took my first kettlebell class. I was hooked and have even purchased my own Red Russian 12kg kettlebell.
Andy is a great instructor and ALWAYS takes the time with his students to teach correct form. He challenges you in a very quiet and effective way to do more and try harder. For the competition I was seriously thinking of competing using the 8kg, Andy said I should compete in the 12kg and I did.
In the past year I have significantly increased my strength and fitness level and really enjoy the effectiveness and results of working out with Kettlebells.
