I have been a competitive triathlete for over 20 years. I have found that kettlebell training helps not only my explosive leg strength for biking and running, but also improves core strength for better swimming and overall improved endurance performance. Coming from a collegiate sports background, I thought I had been through every possible workout known to man. After a recent move and joining a new gym, I saw a pack of people huddled in a back corner of this gym. The people were sweating, out of breathe, but smiling all the while. They were led by a enthusiastic, energetic fire plug. That person was Pete Myers. I couldn't help but stare and admire as he pushed these people past their physical limits. I HAD to be a part of the pack.
I joined training kettlebells with Pete about 3 months ago with the intention of using his workouts as a compliment to my existing heavy weight regimen. After only two workouts with Pete, I knew that "rockin the bells" was a new love for me. I have gained strength in all of my lifts, put on lean muscle mass, and developed an overall understanding of the bodies core balance. Pete is phenomenal, with a workout for anyone from novice to beginner. Thank you Pete!

I've trained with Pete multiple times and just recently has he introduced the kettlebells into our training routine. Pete is by far one of the best trainers I've ever worked with. The routines he takes you through and his focus on technique WILL get you the results you are looking for. I run every day and weight train a couple times a week but after I took one of Pete's kettleball classes I was hooked. It's a very different workout then I'm used to but feels more effective by far. It gets my heart rate going and works my whole body. With Pete constantly at my side motivating me through the entire work out, I'm able to push myself harder even when I think I've got nothing left. I have been at Kinetix for about 8 years now and know one helps me push myself a little harder than Pete. Pete has showed me new ways to have fun and train hard. A couple of weeks ago Pete saw me in the gym and he asked me to come and try out his Kettle Ball training. I had always wanted to try it but it looked like it was a lot of stress to the back. Pete reassured me by doing it the right way and the right training there is no stress on the back. He was right! It was a great workout and I have felt muscles I never felt before that the machines could never reach. It was one of the best workouts I have had. Being a spinning instructor myself, I love a hard workout and I had no idea what "swinging" was going to offer, however, I immediately fell in love with the workout! Here's why; 1.) because it is a very challenging full body workout 2.) because it is like nothing else I do on a regular basis to keep in shape 3.) I could fell myself getting stronger after just about 2 weeks, noticed this added strength in and outside the gym 4.) it was a varied workout each session (never boring or monotonous) 5.) and most importantly, because of the awesome, very knowledgable instructor. I highly recommend kettle ball training with Pete if you are looking to be pushed hard to get in shape and have fun while you're doing it!

This is the first time i have worked out in a year. I was recovering from a couple of surgeries, and have gained 45 pounds of unwanted weight. I started taking Petes Kettle Bell classes about 5 weeks ago. I have never before had an more intense workout in all my years of working out! Pete knows how to get you to push your self through without making it an unpleasant experience. I have or ready shed 16 pounds and can see my body changing every week. I have trained mostly with traditional weights, but Pete has introduced me to an entirely new level of exercise with kettlebells. Pete makes you find your breaking point and then he breaks it, making you find a new and better one to be broken. He makes you do things that you thought you could never do. he is motivated to make you secede on what your trying to accomplish. I've never seen coaches that care as Pete does for you to reach your goal. The little amount of bells that I do when Pete isn't training me to fight is the most intense part of any work out. Soon I plan to join a class so I can spend more time with Pete and reach my goal. When you fail Pete fails, when you reach your goal Pete reaches his goal. I recently did an intro to kettlebells with Pete Myers and found him to be so unbelievably motivating. I never had anybody push me so hard that I didn't think I could do it but he just motivates you to just dig a little deeper. You know you're definitly going to get results from his workouts. Technique is extremely important to Pete so you know you're going to get the most out of the workouts from doing it properly. I was invited to join in on a friends training session with Pete and it was awesome. I lift, run, swim, bike and this work out worked muscles I didn't know I had. I signed up for Pete's training program immediately. The work out with Pete caused me to sweat more and keep my heart rate at a level higher then it has ever been before. Again awesome!!! I am a runner. Due to an injury, I reluctantly joined a gym until I was back to running. A friend invited me to try kettlebell. That is where I met Pete. I have been working out at the gym for 2 years and have taken just about every class. I was invited to participate in a kettlebell class. While the class is challenging, Pete makes it fun to participate. There is no comparison to the level of workout you get with RKC. The teaching skill Pete exhibits and his level of knowledge of RKC is amazing. Pete has the ability to motivate everyone at every level. He pushes you over and beyond your capability to get the most out of each and every workout. I get stronger with each class and do things I never thought I was capable of. I am looking forward to seeing even more amazing results. I would definitely recomend Pete to anyone at any age and any fitness level. The difference with Pete compared to other instructors is that he stands by you every step of the way and makes sure you are doing each move, lift and squat the correct way to achieve the most benefit. Pete, you're the best!

Injuries are no longer a set back

I have been a long time lifter of traditional free weights and machines. After a complete ACL tear and Major Shoulder Surgery I thought lifting and exercising would no longer be in my future. Then I got introduced to Pete and kettle bells. Now my legs are stronger then they have ever been in the past ,my shoulder no longer hurts when I leave the gym, and I m in the best shape I have ever been in. Trust me it's not because the workouts are easy. They are the indeed the complete opposite. Pete's fire, energy & passion for every workout are like none I have ever seen in a trainer before. His belief in and encouragement of every student, in every class, gives each individual the ability to go above and beyond what's asked. He makes you feel as if you can climb mountains, and let's face it after one of his classes that probably would have been only a small feat!!!!

The Best Around

Working out with Pete is one of the hardest and most challenging things one can put one's self through. But it also has the biggest pay off as you can see results: your strength increases, fat turns to muscle, you lose weight, and you feel better about yourself. Pete has an amazing way of connecting with each of the people he trains, which makes working out with him fun, albeit grueling at the same time. His workouts are so intense because he pushes you to your limit and farther than you will ever expect yourself to go - this I believe is the mark of a fantastic trainer. He never lets you give up on yourself or on your workout. He expects the best and both encourages and pushes you to do your best.
One of the best aspects of working out with Pete is that he is so knowledgeable about RKC. He not only explains how to do the movement, but demonstrates the techniques in a way that is very accessible to a beginner.
Pete stands out above any trainer I've worked out with because of the time he invests in his trainees. He doesn't just give a tough workout but gives advice on how getting in shape is a lifestyle. Not only has working with the kettlebells made a difference in my body, but Pete has given me tips on my diet that has shown me how to live a healthier lifestyle overall.
I've been working out with Pete for years, although I just began Kettlebells with him. He's famous in my house as my brother and father have both worked out with him, and we all praise Pete's ability to get us in the best shape of our lives. Since my brother moved away, he still asks Pete for advice on working out. There's no one better than Pete because he cares, he is passionate, he loves what he is doing, and he wants to help each person reach their fitness goals and live a healthier lifestyle. There is not enough praise and thanks that I can give to Pete for all that he has done for me over the years. He is truly wonderful trainer.

Pete is a great instructor. His hardcore mindset is contagious. If you want to increase strength, stamina, fitness and work ethic, Pete can push you to reach your goals and beyond. Pete's kettle bell workouts are tough and he knows how to push all fitness levels novice to elite. Pete makes intense workouts fun.
I've been going to Pete's class for about a month now and I've seen vast improvements in my strength endurance. In addition I've learned the importance of activating my entire body during movements instead of just focusing on primary muscles, and I now feel stronger doing everyday activities. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PETE AND HIS KETTLEBELL CLASS!

What can I say, Pete is an awesome instructor!!! He's great at getting you totally motivated. Pete took extra care in demonstrating and teaching proper technique in using the bells before we graduated to full, all-out training. He really has a talent for bringing out the inner athlete in you. I've worked Pete for over 8 years and I' ve never worked with anyone with as much drive and focus on health and fitness instruction. I say to Pete "Thanks, and keep on "ROCKIN' DA BELLS!"

Pete Is Definitely A Bona Fide Trainer

As a traditional weight lifter, I would train by isolating muscle groups with focused-contractions and engaging a full range of motion. Over the years, I have varied my routines and modified some of my weight bearing exercises to keep my body guessing. Honestly, before Pete introduced me to K.B.s, I 'thought', I was 100% pleased with my results gained from traditional lifting.
Pete not only offered K.B.s as an option for total body fitness but proved to me the necessity for K.B.s in my training plan. Pete used K.B.s to expose my under-developed muscle groups and provided a regiment to make them stronger. In addition, Pete used K.B.s to force my muscles to work in unison while I perfected various techniques and challenging movements. Pete's vast knowledge of fitness and muscle function is second to none. Pete is definitely a bona fide trainer and we are fortunate to have him in the Philadelphia area.

Pete is an amazing instructor. He is one of the most motivating and inspirational people that I know. In every workout with Pete, I discover physical and mental strength that I never thought I had. Whether he is working with me on general conditioning or prepping me for my next race, Pete always has a workout regimen that fits my objectives and helps me exceed my goals. I recently started taking Pete's Kettlebell class and was blown away by the originality and intensity of the course, but I would not have expected any less. Pete consistently elevates my workout to the next level. He is a trainer's trainer. Accept no substitutes!

Pete Myers as a whole is an excellent instructor. He is persistent beyond belief constantly following up with text messages re-enforcing his message. Pete also makes time thru out any given day to answer any questions i may have. Pete stresses form and technique when swinging or warming up.

Trainer like no other

Peter Meyers is and always has been a fantastic instructor. I've been training with him for almost 8 years, and I know of no better trainer. He emphasizes correct form and technique which in turn gives me the best workout every time. Pete keeps me motivated and continues to push me, accepting nothing less than 110%. Pete has always had my back and has supported me throughout my life's endeavors. But no matter who he trains I know that he'll give them the motivation and encouragement to push them beyond their limits. If you really want to reach a potential that you believe is impossible to attain, Pete will help you get there! After an RKC workout with Pete I'm so exhausted that I can barely make it to my car, and yet I feel great knowing that I got a workout that is really doing something for me. Sometimes when working out on my own, I leave the gym knowing I didn't get the most out of it, but after a workout with Pete, I know I couldn't have worked my muscles any harder. I honestly believe that no other trainer compares to Pete. He's at the top of the list in my book and I highly recommend him to anyone who's looking to push themselves and get in the best shape of their lives.

Push It To the Limit

After originally meeting Peter at the gym, we became fast friends. We shared many workouts together, and I always enjoyed how he mixed things up. I always stuck to the more traditional lifts, basic olympic lifts and free weights. He was always looking to change things up. Then, to quote Pavel, "Enter the Kettlebell"...
Kettlebells offer that freedom to keep the workouts interesting. Over the years I enjoyed watching him "bring the pain", always pushing his clients to the limit. Just when they think they can't go on, he expects them to do even more.
You will never meet a more genuine, kind soul, but don't let that fool you. He will bring out the beast in you, and better yet, you will see results, and move closer to your fitness goals. His RKC philosophy and years of experience guarantee safe, effective technique.
Peter is a great, all-around guy, who truly cares about his clients. He will never let you down.

Pete is the man, his passion is contagious and inspirational. When I know I have a work out with Pete it feels like game day. I not only want to be great for myself but I want to be great for Pete. The effort he gives leaves me wanting to preform at my highest level. His work outs completely deplete me and when my mind starts to betray he hits you with a story or antedote that is encouraging and uplifting. You walk away from the work outs exhausted but feeling successful and empowered. I am traing with Pete to prepare for the RKC certification course. I am confident that Pete will have me prepared and ready to succeed.

Peter trains my 2 sons (12 & 13). He develops respect almost instantly. He is a mentor. You can find a coach anywhere, but not a mentor. He preaches respect and hard work. The only person that I will allow to train my kids. By the way, I am an international tennis coach and, having traveled all over the world through my field of expertise, makes me very critical of other professionals, and Pete gets a top rate from me. I just wish I would have the time to train with him!

Pete is absolutely the best trainer that I have ever worked out with. He has the ability to make every workout seem fresh & new. His passion for the kettlebells is contagious. It is such a great full body workout & the class atmosphere is motivating. Don't be fooled... even though you are in a class, Pete still manages to give you that one-on-one personal attention. Pete's attitude is always postive & upbeat. He's just the best all around & he makes you want to work harder & perform at your highest capability.

Pete's kettlebell class is outstanding! It is a total body workout that is intense and gratifying. Pete knows exactly how to push you throughout the workout so that you get the most out of it. He effectively manages small & large groups. Pete has a sense of humor that fits well as he conducts his classes. Pete makes you feel comfortable and genuinely cares about your workout experience with him. His kettlebell class often pushes me to exhaustion but when the workout is over I FEEL GREAT!

Pete's kettlebell class is a great experience. He will push you to lift more while maintaining proper form. In his class, you will be pushed through to your second wind. He cares which muscles/areas of your body hurt and will gear your workout so you can get the most out of it while not hurting yourself. His humor definitely makes you forget how hard you are working. If you do kettlebells you definitely want to experience Pete's class, your body will thank you!

After only working out with kettlebells for a few weeks with Steph, I had the privilege of having Pete as the instructor for one class. His workout is geared to a different style yet very challenging. I was doing things I never thought I could do. He is also very aware of everyone's abilities and technique and was constantly reminding me of the proper form to use. He also has a vast knowledge of fitness and easily modified the workout for some of us with different injuries. His humor was very entertaining and so motivating that you almost didn't realize how hard you were working. Of course, your body felt it. Thanks for the push and motivation.....

I have been training with Pete for about a month, and his is great! Pete is not only a great instructor, he is a great person. When I first started, Pete took the time to help me with physical training, and nutritional training. I told him I wasn't the healthiest eater so he took the time to make me a personalized meal plan. He checks up on me constantly, and gives me advice on how to become a healthier, stronger person. During workouts he not only explains how to perform moves, but also explains how they help, and what they do for my body. I enjoy training with Pete because he gives special attention to where my body needs improvement, and how to achieve it. As a result of the class I have become stronger, and I am starting to lose weight. Compared to other trainers, I give Pete an ultimate ten for personality, instructing, and training. Although, I may complain during workouts, Pete is always determined to make me complete the task with the simple reply "Failure is not an option!" Overall Pete is correct, Failure is not an option and never will be!

I trained with Pete to get ready for my wedding in Mexico. Now preparing for a wedding is usually challenge enough for a trainer, however, Pete had to get me ready for a BATHING SUIT!!!!! Can we say SCARY!!!!!! Pete put together a get workout plan that included Kettlebells, now I am not going to say that I enjoyed these heavy things, but they did their job and got my butt in shape. I dropped 15 pounds for the wedding and I more definition then I did in college! I would highly recommend Pete to anyone who is looking for a great Trainer, his one-on-one attention is unmatched in the field!

Pete is an incredible instructor who is very knowledgeable about fitness. I never thought I would be able to do this workout but Pete has a way of making you feel confident about what you are doing.
He pushes you to your limit and in the end it is well worth it. I feel stronger and more fit. He manages his classes without difficulty and gives special attention to each of us. I recommend Pete highly. He is definitely the man!
