Antonio has 5 years experience as a Personal Trainer, but studied health and fitness for as long as he can remember. He is a Navy veteran. After the service he trained as a classical painter and musician, but realized that his true passion was for health and fitness. He is NSCA- CPT certified, FMS certified (funcitonal movement screen), CrossFit Level I certified, and IYCA (International Youth Conditioning Association) certified. He obtained his Russian Kettlebell Instructor Certification in October 2008, wanting more he returned in June of 2009 to obtain his RKC level II certification. Although he no longer trains in classical painting and music, he enjoys applying his creativity and interest in learning to designing creative, dynamic workouts.

Incredible workout with kettlebells

I have been training with Antonio for almost 3 years and as amazing a trainer Antonio is and the workouts were before, once we started with kettlebells, I saw an incredible change in my body and energy level plus I enjoy the workouts much more. I am 41 years old and am in the best shape of my life. The kettlebell workouts have differentiated Antonio from other trainers at our gym.

I've been training with Antonio for almost a year and he is one of the most dedicated and qualified trainers I've ever worked with. He pushes me harder than I've ever been pushed before and he takes no excuses. He is innovative in planning my workout routine, which definitely keeps it interesting - especially with some of his signature kettle bell exercises. And he's a nice guy to top it off. I am 37 years old and am recovering from knee and shoulder injuries and Antonio has helped get me back on track. I feel great and the results are really starting to show. I have been working out with Antonio for just over 3 years, and I'm amazed at the changes in my body. When we first started I could barely do a jump pull-up; now, I can do them without a jump assist. I watched trainers at my gym for months before I asked Antonio about working out together. Hands down, he was the most attentive and enthusiastic of everyone on the floor. Antonio clearly enjoys his work, he comes to each session prepared (usually with something new to try!), he tracks your development, and he is eager to discuss lifestyle choices (such as diet) that may be affecting your progress. Although Antonio is busy and very much in demand, you never feel that he is thinking about his next client -- he is always focused on YOU. He is the best.

I started working out with Antonio about three years ago after undergoing hip replacement surgery. I lacked balance, muscle fitness and endurance. I had never really worked out and would not have won any prizes for motivation. Antonio knew exactly what I needed to do to get myself in the best shape I have ever been (at almost 60 years old!). You know that he has thought out what you as an individual need and how to bring you through progressive stages to reach your goals. He is also 100% focused on you, making sure your technique is perfect and you get the most benefit from every move. He gets you to push your limits but he is so nice you never feel intimidated. The kettlebells are really challenging but Antonio knows how to get you do them correctly and reap their amazing benefits.

I have trained with Antonio for about six months, and he really is an excellent trainer. He is very focused on detail and technique, and takes the time to personalize the workout to address your body's specific needs. Thanks to Antonio, kettlebells have become a staple of my routine, and they've transformed my body. In addition, Antonio's creative training routines are intense, but fast-paced and varied, so you don't realize how hard you're working (until you start to see the results) and forget about feeling bored or getting into a rut, because there's no chance of that happening!

I have spent many fun years on various forms of exercise- spinning, running, weight training, yoga (and many others I probably can't even remember). I am now addicted to my weekly training sessions with Antonio. He is an amazing instructor with the ability to work with people at various levels. His ingenuity and creativity are demonstrated each week with his carefully thought out sessions. The kettlebells have been a significant addition to my work out routine, adding definition and strength. It's amazing how one simple piece of equipment like a kettlebell can provide such a versatile, dynamic and interesting work out. He is not a trainer simply content with a working knowledge of kettlebell conditioning, but instead he aims for nothing short of mastery of technique and form. I've been working with Antonio for about 3 years now and it has been a wonderful experience. He is one of the best trainers I've seen at the gym BY FAR. He is passionate about what he does and takes everything to the highest levels. He spends most of his personal time studying and taking classes to better himself and thus better our workouts. For me, Antonio knows exactly how to motivate me and keep me focused on the task at hand! He knows when to push and when to be supportive. There is no doubt that my body, mind, and spirit have been forever changed since I started training with Antonio 8 months ago. I came to Antonio with a shoulder injury that everyone told me I needed surgery for and I wanted instead to strengthen my shoulder and my entire body. Within weeks, I was feeling like a different person due to Antonio's commitment to working out what I needed and carefully paying attention to building my full body strength. After about 2 months, I was in a car accident, and again Antonio came through, working with me carefully and caringly to build back my strength. I am now in a great place, training twice a week and loving every session. Antonio is creative, approaches each session with a purpose, pushes me in ways I have never been pushed before, and I feel like his only client (which is incredible because he is in such demand). The kettlebells are one of the best things that have happened to me in my life. I am blown away by what they have done for my body and I love the way they are interweaved into my sessions. Antonio trains like the artist that he is - with creativity and constant attention to discipline and results. He is a superstar.

Working with Antonio over the past 2 years has been life changing.
Right from the start, he designed a realistic, well thought out "full body" workout specific to my needs and my fitness and strength levels have steadily improved since(my waistline has also reduced by two sizes!). His workouts are creative, always fun and challenging (definitely challeging!), but never redundant. You will also be equally as stimulated mentally. Once I was ready to take on the kettlebells, I feel like the sky is the limit! Antonio's approach to exercise is very intelligent, he's up to date on all current techniques and information and he incorporates a lot of different exercises into our workouts. I completely trust Antonio with my body. His 100% dedication to helping me achieve my goals is refreshing. At 43, i'm in the best shape of my life. By the way, he's also a pleasure to be around, a top quality human being.

I have been working out with Antonio for almost 3 years. He knows how to push me, chastise me about my eating habits and how to motivate me to improve my fitness levels and body. Antonio is very passionate about training and always seeking new ways to motivate his clients and make our workouts even better. Whether it is the kettlebells or core training, Antonio always manages to come up with creative ways to improve what are already killer workouts. When other trainers are always trying to get Antonio to work out with them and challenge them, it confirms what I already knew - Antonio is the best of the lot. I've been training wtih Antonio for 9 months now with amazing results. - Gone from able to do 2-3 pullups to close to 10. - Benchpress up about 50 pounds to well over 200 - Substantial improvement in my fitness overall - Waist size reduced while adding 10 pounds of muscle.
Simply put - I'm in the best shape of my life at 35 and totally excited about my workout regimen. I try to see Antonio 3 times a week.
Finally, Antonio is a great guy. He accommodates my wacky schedule by fitting me in when he can, which includes texting me the night before when he has a cancellation that might be convenient for me.

i would recommend Antonio to anyone interested in serious training. he is an excellent trainer who is a true professional.He works you hard but always varies the routines to keep it interesting. i know that I could never push myself in the same way if i was trying the routines on my own. His workouts are always challenging but through his encouragement I always get through them and and feel much better when I do. Antonio is also a very pleasant person and i would recommend him to anyone interested in getting into better shape.

I would like to make a short review of my experience on meeting Antonio Cordova. I had the great pleasure to meet him at the last RKC in Minnesota were we both assisted. Antonio is a great person and a very valuable addition to the RKC Program!I was very impressed about the knowledge of kettlebells and training he shared with me over the weekend.If you are in the New York area,make it a point to check him out.
