I have been working with weights for 14 years and started training people 10 years ago.
I fell in love with kettlebells the first time they were introduced to me, so I immediately signed up and attended the September 2008 RKC and while there, I became one of the few to "Tame the Beast". The experience was a life changing event. So I signed up for Level 2 in June 2009 and it was an even more amazing. I was honored to be invited back as an assistant instructor at the September 2009 RKC. It was a great time and look forward to instructing at the certification again.

I had the honor of having Dustin on my team at the Sept. RKC. He is a very knowledgeable trainer and a great guy. He is a welcome addition to the RKC family. I'm expecting Dustin to go far in the RKC world.

Kettlebells have made the difference in my workouts

I have been training with Dustin since July 2008 and in September of 2008 we started incorporating Kettlebells in my weekly sessions.
I believe that Kettlebells have made the difference in my workouts and time spent in the gym. I have seen drastic positive improvements in my physique, endurance, strength and flexibility. While my goal is not to "bulk" up it is to gain overall body strength while slimming down. Dustin has tailored my workouts with Kettlebells to fit my needs as a petite 5'1" woman who wants to lean out and focus on toning up.

Hate the Pain, but there is gain!

Like many, I HATE working out. I know and experienced the pleasures afterwards, both physically and mentally, but just hard to get motivated. After a 3 year hiatus, I went back to training sessions this past fall of '08 with Dustin Miller. After a few sessions, Dustin began to introduce Kettlebells slowly. At 1st I was skeptical and complained , like with all other exercises. But after 3 months of having Kettlebells being incorporated, I find myself actually enjoying working with them, in fact I have spent days with no scheduled sessions working out with kettlebells on my own....Go figure! My energy has increased, my body is in better shape, I've lost weight, and move much easier without pain, except,of course,when I'm pushing thru a kettlebell session....But it is worth it! Dustin's training technique is fantastic in that he is always pushing alittle more,without me realizing just how much. The overall benefits I am receiving from Dustin's kettlebell workouts are greater than any other training session I've had with other trainers, and I actually look forward to the workout!!!!

I have worked out with trainers before, but never have worked with kettlebells. As a college student, workouts have been put on the back-burner to school and work these past few years.
After a semester in Paris with a heavy diet and minimal exercise, I wanted to get back in shape before my senior year of college. This past summer of 2009, I have been working with Dustin and kettlebells three times a week and it has completely changed my perspective on workouts as well as my body. Dustin adjusts the workout to my body, knowing exactly how much extra to push me. His focus on "keeping my body tight" and constant motivation helped me get through each workout. I feel stronger than I have ever been and look the best I have since the beginning of college. Working out isn't a chore anymore, but is now a part of my day that I look forward to as a way to relieve stress and work off the weight gained over the last few years in a natural and lasting way.
I am definitely a kettlebell convert! Dustin minimized the pain and maximized my results and I could not be happier with the progress I have made and the results I see as I head into my senior year. I really can't recommend kettlebells or Dustin enough!

Dustin Miller what an assistant to have instruct you on your get-up and press. Taking advice from a guy who tamed the beast in my mind is the highest quality of knowledge. Dustin gave the other members of the group along with myself the proper amount of attention and instruction needed to perfect the basic 6 of kettlebell training. I am proud to say one of my team assistant RKCs is a beast tamer. Thank you for all your help during my certification process Dustin.

Dustin was one of the assistant instructors on my team at the recent fall 2009 RKC certification. I appreciate greatly his quiet, humble, and patient manner in which he worked with the members of our team to improve our skills. He was very watchful and attentive to details. I set a new personal record in the press when I was there, but he showed me a flaw that I had--that when corrected--should get me to Rite of Passage press numbers quickly. Thank you, Dustin, for a job well done, and for your part in helping me attain RKC.

More Than A Beast Tamer!

I had the honor of having Dustin as one of my instructors at the RKC certification. Dustin has a great ability to see the flaws in your technique and quickly help you correct them. Despite his size (I am literally half his size) and amazing strength (he's Beast Tamer!) he is thoughtful and intelligent in his instruction. So, to any women reading this, don't think Dustin is just a coach for "Beast Tamers". Dustin will help you and inspire you to get to your next level.

It was impressive having a Beast Tamer on our instructor team (team Dan John, Sept 2009 RKC). Dustin is a great coach and had many great tips to improve my pressing strength and skill. It was great working with and learning from Dustin, like all great RKC's he's willing to share everything he knows.
Thanks again Dustin for your encouragement, guidance and those tips... I am practicing the 2 KB press, definitely self-correcting!

Got Me Ready For The RKC

Dustin worked with me to help get me ready for the Feb 2010 RKC, and I couldn't have asked for a better coach.
He was spot on with his technique instruction; patient in explaining where I made errors and offering helpful cues on how to correct these mistakes.
When the time came for my RKC weekend, I felt 100% prepared, thanks to Dustin's instruction and preparation.
I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great trainer, whether you're going to the RKC or you're brand new to kettlebells.
