I met Adam through climbing in the Duluth area. Recently I learned that he completed the RKC instructor certification and was opening a kettlebell training gym in Duluth. I imediately contacted him to see what it was all about. I have trained in the past for climbing, skiing, ultimate frisbee, and biking and thought it would be a perfect tool for all sports. I have been very impressed with the whole experience. The first sessions were very intensive on form. I felt very comfortable with Adams approach and focus on making sure I was learning the form correctly from the start so that I did not risk any injury from improper technique. I am very interested in advancing with my kettlebell training and feel very comfortable with kettlebells but I am thankful that Adam is taking time to make sure I develop at the right pace and dont try to push past my limits too quickly. I like the idea that I am not training just constantly practicing. I would recomend training with Adam at Superior Kettlebell Gym to anyone.

Afternoon, my name is Tom Tollefson and have been working with Kettlebells for the last year and a half. I learned mainly from the video's until Adam and I walked through one of my workouts. I live in Minneapolis (Adam in Duluth) so we finally connected and he really helped me clean up my form on the new get up to be clean and powerful through 17 movements. This is a great place to workout. The joint mobility warm up and exercises are very helpful. Adam has knowledge in so many different exercises. I am learning new things each time I come here. I started training with Kettlebells two weeks ago with Adam Dailey at the Superior Kettlebell Gym and I have just completed his intro to Kettlebells class. In this class of four we learned two of the fundamental exercises, the swing, and the get-up. In just six sessions, with these two exercises, I have seen remarkable improvements in overall strength, flexibility and endurance. After two weeks I am hooked on training with Kettlebells and I am certainly going to continue training with Adam.
Adam as a trainer has done an excellent job of instructing us during these first two weeks. Although I was in a class of four I never felt like I was not getting the attention I needed. He managed his time well between us all and always gave us his full attention. Adam strongly emphasizes the importance of perfect form throughout all exercises, whether it is joint mobility to warm up, or actually working with the Kettlebell. Safety is of upmost importance to him!

Having used a variety of training methods from ultra marathons and Nordic skiing to circuit training and indoor rock climbing, I have never found the results that I am achieving with the Superior Kettlebell Gym. As a climber it is important that my training is sport specific. Adam's kettlebell workouts have increased my contact strength and endurance through safe yet intense training sessions that challenge me physically and psychologically. Having heard from a friend, I decided to start this new workout. Before entering the gym, I've never seen a kettlebell or the use of one but walking in Adam made me feel at ease. The first time I heard about kettlebells I hade no idea what they were. My boyfriend had heard about them from his brother in law. We talked to Adam at a birthday party and he told us all these facts kettlebells can do for your body. I was amazed. I thought it was just for men, but Adam told me how lots of women do it and kettlebells come in smaller sizes, and how kettlebells turn women into Godesses and men into spartans. I wanted in. The first class was a little nerve racking for me. I knew I was not as physical as other people in the class. Adam explained to me that everyone is at differents levels so he worked with me differently than the others. After the first class I have never felt so much pain in my legs, but it was good pain the kind that made me feel like I accomplished something! The next class I thought I couldn't do a thing because I was so sore. I worked right through the pain and did my 1st swing workout . It was wonderful. I have never felt so good. Looking back I remember my first class and I could only do 6 maybe 10 2 handed swings and now tonight I did 200. Some of them 2 handed and some 1 handed. I like the way Adam teaches he doesn't make me feel stupid or not physically fit. He helps me remember to keep everything tight. Just by doing kettlebells for 6 sessions 2 days a week I feel more confident. I feel better aobut myself and for once I do not want to quit. Kettlebells is by far the best workout of all time, and Adam is the nicest momst knowledgeable teacher. His passion for kettlebells is contagious and makes me want to learn more exercises.

I am a 52 year old woman who in my younger years trained intensly in weights and martial arts. It's been 17 years since I worked out with this this kind of intensity. I love the kettle bell workout. Adam is very thorough and complete in his workout instruction. I am a 28 year old woman who has been active my whole life- snowboarding, biking, and trail running. I always seem to work out so hard and push myself to the max, but I am never fully satisfied with my body. I have watched my husband transform not only his body but his life for the past few years. After having my son the weight didn't come off as easily. Adam encouraged me to start traing with the bells. I have to admit I was nervous. I started in November and have lost inches of fat and gained a lot of muscle. Most of all I feel better than I have felt in my 28 years of existence. So, I went rock climbing with some friends and saw an advertisement that caught my eye, it said, "Do you want to forge the body of a greek goddess?" HECK YES I DO, I thought! I punched the number into my cell phone and called the next day.
I scheduled my first kettlebell session with Adam in the end of December, and immediately I was sold. I was very much challenged my first session, and the next day I felt muscles that I didn't know I had! The soreness of my muscles actually inspired me to continue! My muscles have never responded to any workout like they have to sessions with Adam! AMAZING! I've tried so many different classes, gyms and forms of exercise it is sick. Running, speed walking, jumping rope, gymnastics, ballet, Tae Kwan Do, Bosu Ball classes, Boot Camps, regular weight training, yoga, pilates, swimming, biking, you all get the picture.....but nothing has been this intense, this satisfying, this beneficial or this motivating.
Adam is awesome. He is patient and solid. He is very serious about his job and about the kind of workout that I get. He is challenging and encouraging. I know I wouldn't work as hard if it wasn't for his confidence in my ability to press on. I feel very comfortable working with Adam. He is very detailed and emphasizes safety and correct form with every exercise. I also love the joint mobility at the beginning of each session; it really helps me in my line of work.
I cancelled my old gym membership, and I don't miss it one bit! Nope, I'm done looking at magazines and reading captions on a TV while I am walking on a treadmill. Adam Dailey is one of the best physical trainers I have encountered. His understanding of how to make kettlebell workouts achieve a desired goal is impressive. I started training with Adam several months ago with the desire to increase my explosive punching and gain upper body strength to punch harder. We established the basic fundamentals of kettlebell lifting the first few sessions, then discussed how we could incorporate kettlebell workouts into my existing boxing regimen. From there Adam has consistently challenged my in a different way every time I have worked with him. Workout sessions with Adam are never the same. Being consistently inconsistent with workouts has my body ready for anything.
Now that I have trained with Adam for a significant amount of time I am punching with vicious combinations and have found a hidden benefit of kettlebell training, endurance. The initial goals we set were surpassed. I can punch without rest a full round and not have to worry about recovering for the next round. Another benefit from Adam is his understanding of how hard to push me in workouts. When I reach my physical limitations during a workout, Adam knows how hard to push me without putting me at risk for injury. Training with Adam has increased my confidence in my pursuit to become a world champion boxer. With Adam on my team I know that I'll be physically ready for whatever challenge lies ahead in the ring.
I recommend training with kettlebells under Adams guidance to anyone that wants to take their athletic endeavor to the next level. If you are serious about getting in great shape, Adam is a sure way to go.

I have been lifting weights for many years trying to form a workout sufficient for a boxer. I have gone through many trainers and programs, and each of them worked in there own right but something was missing. One day my trainer/manager Chuck Horton had a suggestion that changed the course of my boxing career. He told me he wanted me to go to Superior Kettlebell and workout with Adam Dailey. I was all for it because I am always looking for new ways to challenge myself, wow did we find it. When you work with Adam he pushes you to your limits everyday! He makes sure that you are not cheating yourself so you can get the maximum benefits of each and every workout! I have seen many changes since working with Adam. I am more chisled then ever and I am much stronger from head to toe. The difference in my boxing is also very evident, I am stronger and in much better condition. I can go though my boxing workout and hit just as hard and fast in round 12 as I could in round 1. I am really happy that we made the decision to add Adam to our team. I recomend Adam to train you whether your a professional athlete or just trying to get in better shape!

This is my top ranked place to work out in Duluth and I have seen an increase in my cardio and strength endurance on my long trail runs, biking, and paddling excursions. Adam and Liz are committed to providing not only a professional atmosphere to work out, but also a location that doesn't emphasize appearance, but raw physical training. This is a gym that exudes pure passion for physical fitness and Adam emphasizes the relationship between strong mental passion and physical transformation. Adam continues to encourage athletes to greater achievements during workouts with the acute awareness of limits and corrects maligned techniques to prevent injuries to participants. The workouts are creative and quite simple, but provide ultimate strength training. I love the VO2 max training and slamming the tire with a sledgehammer. Taking the workouts outside to the lake walk has provided a welcome reprieve from the gym and provides athletes with a sense of balance with nature. I first met Adam Dailey on an Ice climbing trip in Canada. Having started difficult workouts 6 months before the trip, I felt that I was training hard. Swimming, Military PT, running and lifting weights were good, but falling short of the results I desired. Adam told me about his gym on the trip, so a few months later I gave him a call. I should have called earlier and gone to his gym right after the trip as results were quick. Adam puts you into a no nonsense controlled environment, and pushes you every session. After the first weeks, I noticed results and continue to notice results week after week.
It is also exciting to see the progression of others in the sessions. From professional athletes to individuals who are ready for a transformation, results are easily seen. Adam pushes each individual in every session both physically and mentally. His ability to teach proper form, recognize unsafe situations, and challenge you every session show he cares about your safety and results.
Every individual has his or her motivations for getting in shape. Adam takes those motivations and turns them into results. However, you must be willing to work hard and challenge yourself. As I continue to go to Superior Kettle bell gym I have a long way to go. I will continue attending knowing that Adam will challenge and motivate me every session. I'm 36 years old and my parenthood started 9 years ago. That's the same time my level of fitness started going downhill. I had a Y membership but never really liked the random and very boring nature of the workout brought on by waiting for other people to use the same equipment I was trying to use. I wasted a lot of time and money at the Y and did not get good results.
I read an article about kettelbells in the Minneapolis paper about a year or two ago and thought it would be great if Duluth had a kettlebell gym. I stumbled across the Superior Kettlebell Gym last March. It turns out its only six blocks away from my office which gave me very few excuses for not being able to squeeze a workout in.
I got in contact with Adam and found out he offered a strong variety of training times. Adam also gave me a personal demonstration to show me exactly what Kettelbells were all about. I started trainging immediately even though I thought I would puke at first, I stuck with it. Its now the end of July and I'm in the best shape I've been in in 10 years. I've lost over 20 pounds and am back to a good fightin weight of 165. I feel I still have more to go and I know I will get there.
I owe all of my success to Adam and his top notch professionalism and quality training. There's nothing fancy or pretentious about Adam or his method of training. He provides thorough instruction that focuses on proper form and safety while at the same time pushing me to embrace the pain and challege of kettelbell training.
I have and will continue to recommend Adam Dailey and his gym to anyone that is looking for a great way to get in shape and stay in shape.

I will soon be turning 60 and was asked to consider doing kettlebells by my 36 year old son in law. Being of feeble mind and flabby body i accepted his challenge. I must say on day one i was a bit concerned and questioned my sanity given that most of the class was made up of youthful well conditioned marathoners, tri athletes and a professional boxer. To Adams credit he welcomed me with open arms, a rye smile and a walker[ha ha]. It's been 4 months since then till now .... i have been challenged,well coached, encouraged and extremely satisfied with all aspects of Adams operation. Adam knows his stuff and practices what he preaches. I like to cross country ski race and had read about kettlebells as an excellent cross-training tool for this sport. I was referred to Adam by a local fitness expert. Adam has been a great find! His instruction is clear, consistent, enthusiastic, and sprinkled with humor. He watches us carefully, giving advice on technique, with an eye on safety and injury prevention. When he thinks we're ready he'll push us to higher weights and more reps. In only two months I've seen real, measurable results. I am a 22 year old young man heading off to law school as I pursue my professional dreams. Needless to say, I enjoy pushing myself to the limit and then beyond - both mentally and physically. I am an active kid and always have been, having obtained such things as a black belt at 15 and running several half-marathons before turning 22; much of this is owed to my parents who have pushed me to be all that I can be. My mother introduced me to Adam this summer while I was in-between college and law school as a way to not only get in better shape, but also to spend some time together. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning the principles and techniques of Russian Kettle Bell and will continue to practice the art whereever I find myself. I have been physically active my entire life, but more for the fun of sports and had resisted exercise for fitness, as I found it boring. I have tried many diets & fitness regimes over the years but found it difficult to stick with anything, while I still struggled with weight control & general fitness. At age 52 and a mother of 4, I am determined to have my senior years be fit and active ones so that I can minimize any needed medications and be able to jog, hike, ski, & continue my martial arts training, etc. I read about Adam's classes in the newspaper and was intriqued by the description of Kettlebell training to be a combination of strength training and aerobic training...thinking, this is just what I need! I attended the intro classes and truly believe that I have found something that I can stick with over time. I like that class is never boring & encompasses whole body workouts. When I started I could not do a get-up with even the 14 lb. bell and now I can do them with the 18 lb. bell. Additionally, when I started, I could only do a plank for 15 sec. and can now do one for nearly a minute. I am now fitting into slacks that I have not been able to fit into for over 2 yrs. Adam is very knowledgeable and watches us closely to prevent injury. He modifies exercises as needed to accommodate age and ability. I most appreciate his positive encouragement while at the same time pushing you to give that extra effort...that you would not do without a trainers impetus. I am NEVER made to feel belittled in any way for doing the best that I can...when many in the class are half my age and twice my strength. I am feeling a core strength that I have never had before and know with certainty that this will just continue to improve. My husband is commenting that he can tell that I am getting leaner and stronger; how great is that !!!
