Great Instructor Rated 10 out of 10
Jordan has an incredible knowledge not only of kettlebell techniques, but also of how best to individually teach those techniques to each of his clients. Its amazing what a difference 3 months of training with Jordan has done for me.

Oh, and he's funny :P

Excellent Instructor Rated 10 out of 10
I had the good fortune of receiving an hour of private instruction from Jordan at the August 2008 RKC certification. He is an excellent instructor -- courteous, friendly, patient and very knowledgable and detail oriented. In a short time, I learned a lot of useful information, and had a good time to boot.

Highly recommended.

FANTASTIC Rated 10 out of 10
Jordan is a FANTASTIC kettlebell trainer and teacher. His hands on approach and positive attitude are great. He had me snatching, swinging and doing Turkish Getups in no time. When you work with Jordan you get his undivided attention. Highest Recommendation!

ONE OF THE BEST Rated 10 out of 10
I've worked with and known several fitness trainers; Jordan is one of the best. He has extensive knowledge of kettlebell techniques and phyisical training; he breaks down complex training techniques and concepts into smaller comprehensible steps. Jordan goes the extra mile to understand his client's skill level and overall goals to develop a personal training program.

Awesome Funny Guy Rated 10 out of 10
Jordan didn't make sense to me when I first met him. He seemed like he didn't have much personality or intelligence off the bat. When I got to know him better he is actually extremely intelligent. His workshops and style seem simple only because he is very experienced and selective in his approach. Jordan jokes that he is "lazy," but that is really code for him being selective and efficient. He takes out all the guess work and extraneous information and delivers a succinct, to-the-point style of instruction. He also makes a lot of dry humor jokes that makes whatever he is teaching much more enjoyable than it should be. I enjoyed his class and his style and also I came out of his workshop excited and capable.

Jordan is a Yoda Rated 10 out of 10
I have been working with Jordan for about a year and a half. Very pleased. I get along well with him.

I am usually very spent at the end of our sessions. We accomplish more in 45 minutes than most folks accomplish in two hours at the gym.

Normally I lack the willpower to heap the abuse I get from Jordan on myself, so that is why I hire him to help me do it. I am getting a lot out of our sessions and consider them a good investment. I have made good progress in overall strength, but great progress in terms of conditioning.

Highly recommended.

Killing Thru Kettlebells Rated 10 out of 10
For at least a month I was convinced that Jordan was trying to kill me. Everytime I went to him he mercilessly made me swing that damn kettlebell around until I thought I would either collapse or die. Sometimes I lay on the floor and pretend I'm dead hoping he'll leave me alone. I am, in fact, at this very moment extremely sore due to Jordan. He even has the nerve to email workouts for me to do at home.

BUT it works, and I'm positive that is due to Jordan's insane workout routines/techniques (he must think of all the evil things he can make clients do in his spare time) and his ability to force me to workout harder than I ever possibly could alone.

He's crazy, slightly weird, entertaining and I hate him just a little bit, but he's the best trainer I've ever come across.

Thank you Mr. Vezina Rated 10 out of 10
Jordan's knowledge of body and back training is far superior to any other trainer I have known. My posture has improved 110%. My functional strength is at an all time high and improving more each week. When I feel like I cant go any further, he gives me the type of encouragement I need to push forward. I am extremely grateful to have met Jordan and I can’t imagine doing this without his dedication to my success. Highly recommend.

Jordan Is Too Single Minded Rated 10 out of 10
Jordan is a pain. During my workouts, it's impossible to get him off-track. It's impossible to get him to stop talking about strength and fitness. It's impossible to get him to make the workouts "fun." In short, it's impossible to catch a break from this guy. So I suggest, if you're looking for a trainer you can manipulate to your own ends, don't go to Jordan. He's only good for getting results. Not much more.

I knew him from the (almost) beginning Rated 10 out of 10
I met Jordan back when he first started working toward becoming a fitnes trainer. It was back in the days when kettlebells had not yet entered his life. Sad, yes, but still, Jordan was able to pump me up from a scrawny 120 pound kid to a 150 pound monster in a little over a year. Mostly all of those 30 pounds I gained was pure muscle and I still believe I never would have gained that weight without him. Jordan's knowledge of fitness is far from where it was then. Whoever he takes on as a client should consider themselves lucky to have a trainer with the knowledge he has and the care he gives to his clients.

Also, you may have read that Jordan is funny. He is very funny; at least that's what Jordan tells me.

Top Kettlebell Trainer Rated 10 out of 10
Jordan is easily one of the top Kettlebell trainers in the Bay Area. He has an incredible wealth of knowledge regarding kettlebells and is able to apply this knowledge in a way that translates into hard, effective training sessions. In addition to being a phenomenal trainer, he is also a great teacher. My knowledge of kettlebells increased exponentially after working with him. Thanks, Jor! He is truly an asset to the RKC and the Bay Area. We are lucky to have him. :)

Sloppy to Svelte Rated 10 out of 10
I was seriously out of shape when I showed up on Jordan's doorstep. I had done zero exercise in the previous year, gained some weight, and lost a lot of muscle. Working 60-70 hours a week left me very little time, and even less energy, to get myself in the habit of working out again.
Well, two months of two hours a week and I am well on my way to recovering the muscle mass and losing the flab. Don't be afraid to spend the dough. It's a lot cheaper than buying a new wardrobe because your clothes don't fit anymore. And, the kettlebell training is surprisingly aerobic, so it's not just building muscle, but also increasing cardio stamina.
I am so glad that Girya happened to be a block from my office, or I would still be sitting at my desk with my top button of my pants undone.

Jordan, well he's just Jordan. Rated 10 out of 10
When I first saw Jordan useing kettlebells I thought to myself 'what is that and it looks wierd'. Jordan was one of the first people I saw that started to think outside the box. Now as the fitness industry is changing more and clubs are trying to keep up with the true meaning of functional training and failing as they do so. Jordan's kettlebell training style separates him from everyone else. As new full funtional training styles keep evolving in directions that puts traditional styles on the back burner there are very few new tools that are making this happen. Kettlebell training is one of them and with Jordan watching you, you only hope you dont make a mistake cause he will correct you and help you rethink how your body should be working and be sure you get the full benifit of training your body deserves.
Chris Nash - Redwood city

Very clear and concise Rated 10 out of 10
Jordan offered two workshops in Kettlebells. Definitely different than any other work out that i had come across, and clearly a total body work out. His description of how to do the moves was very clear, easy to understand, and he quickly discussed and corrected any poor form. He closely monitored my form, and was focused on me, unlike some other personal trainers that talk too much about themselves. i left the two sessions feeling competent and encouraged to continue using Kettlebells to increase strength and flexibility, and i am sure i will keep working at it.

thanks, Jordan.

Thorough and Challenging Rated 10 out of 10
Jordan's teaching style was relaxed and thorough. If some of us did not get the movements right away, he always had a solution and was patient to work with us until we got it. In addition, the class is hands-on so we all got a tough workout which definitely helped us understand how challenging it is to toss around a kettlebell. With that in mind as trainers, we will be able to know which clients are ready to progress through the movements.

By the end of the weekend workshop, everyone improved their technique in some way which shows that Jordan's teaching style and cues were spot on. It goes without saying that the weekend was entertaining especially when Jordan broke out the nail bending bag for us to try our hand at testing our grip strength.

Thanks for an awesome weekend! I'm already looking forward to the Level Two Workshop

If you want overall strength and the knowledge to teach it to others with confidence then Jordan is your man.
He is not only hands on with his demonstrations, but he kicks your a** while you learn this great "hard form" of the kettle bell.
I will definitely sign up for the Level II workshop when he offers it.
It's all about putting in the work cause the work pays off!
Thanks big pimp'in!

A TRUE PRO, FROM A TRUE PRO Rated 10 out of 10
I have known Jordan for a couple of years now. We worked together at a large facility in PA. He has always approached his trainings "out of the box". His natural attention to detail and his understanding that "conditioning comes first" make him a true "instructor". I have been in the business over 15 years and hold certifications from NASM, NSCA, ACE, AFAA, AFPA, AFTA, NESTA, PILATES, TRX and more (not to mention KB 1 Average to Elite "A2E"). I have veiwed several videos and have read RKC/Pavils books (Jodan's required reading) and feel that if you pay attention in Jordan's classes he will give you years of training experience in a 16 hr two day (kick your ass to the ground mind you) Certification cours. I highly recommend him, he is, has been and will continue to be my only resource for KB trianing.

Pick an Injury - I HAVE HAD IT! Rated 10 out of 10
Chew on this: Two back surgeries, knee operation, rib resection, shoulder surgery (thoracic outlet syndrome)and just about every sprain and muscle strain you can imagine.

I played basketball in college and competitive beach volleyball. Physical therapy has been my life over the past five years and only since I met Jordan 5 months ago and started kettlebell training with him have I been able to play ball and get out of bed the next day!

Seriously, Jordan took the time to understand my injuries and limitations while creating a workout that slowly built my strength while increasing flexibility. I spend three days a week with Jordan and cannot begin to emphasize the difference in my daily life. Sleep habits, soreness, flexibility, strength and activity levels have all gotten better during the past five months.

I could not recommend a training regime as highly as kettlebell training with Jordan.

Tim - Palo Alto, CA

Life Changing Rated 10 out of 10
Overheard at a recent training session:
JORDAN: "Would your co-workers think you were strange if you took the 24 to work and just banged out one press on each side, every few hours. You need to grease the groove on these."

That in a nutshell is what I love about Jordan.

This isn't about having someone watch me work out. I'm relatively intelligent and after a certain point with an exercise I can self correct and analyze my own body mechanics to usually point out my own flaws. If I wanted to have someone watch me work out and count my reps, I'd get a McTrainer. They're way cheaper.

This is about having someone around me on a regular basis who provides the motivation for this to be a regular part of my life. This is about someone who says "you need to pracice that ... can you just take it to work and do a few reps between meetings". This is about someone who emails to remind me about my independent workouts and make sure things are on track. This is about someone who works me to near death on a regular basis. Every session I leave having soaked through 90% of my t-shirt, and at least one point stopped hearing anything he was saying by virtue of sheer exhaustion.

I used to 'think' that this kind of thing was all about natural talent. Now, I 'know' that it is all about consistent ongoing effort, strength of will, and good instruction.

I provide the first two parts ... Jordan provides the last one.

Jordan is very professional and detailed in his approach to training. He takes what he does seriously and it shows.

I got along very well with Jordan as he is friendly, intelligent and straightforward in his instruction. If you are in the Bay Area, CA and you are interested in taking kettlebell training seriously you can't go wrong in picking Jordan to help you get there. He's a great trainer that wants to bring out the best in you.

changed the way I train Rated 10 out of 10
The experience I had with jordan and KB training was fantastic. As a former powerlifter, I had scene people using bells for assistance work for sometime but never tried them myself. After working with jordan my take on training changed completely. With his help I am now pursuing the RKC myself and hope to pass it this february. Jordans teaching ability not only motivated me but gave me the fundamental base to go for the RKC. Great instructor, I would recommend him to anyone.

Body Re-Configuration After 40 With Jordan Rated 10 out of 10
Those of you over 40 may have noticed your body requesting some type of movement to stay or get in form. After years of sedetary living I deicided I did not want to grow old, looking old. My answer training with Jordan Veznia. Within 1 week of training using kettlebells my endurance increased and my body began to respond. After severals months of training the visual transformation has become apparent and my body condition is no longer an indicator to my real age. Youthful is the feeling and toning is the result. the best part for me is this method with Jordan's guidance takes only 30 minutes. The method provides a streamline process for the best results I've ever acheived!
Show up to your sessions and you won't need to wait for long to see results. Happy swings!

Level 2 KB class at Equinox in Palo Alto Rated 10 out of 10
I had a very informative and comprehensive KB class with Jordan this past weekend. He was very informative on all details. My technique improved 100%. KBs are tough for 1hr let alone 6hrs, but Jordan made it enjoyable, fun, but not over doing it. I learned a lot. He was always available to answer any questions that I had. Great job.

Even if you're good he still can make you better Rated 10 out of 10
I've known Jordan for over 2 years now. I have never considered personal trainer before, last 7 years I work out myself 5-6 days a week, I could press 2x24kg kettlebells standing and 16kg in the straight split, so I thought I was pretty good.
Nevertheless, Jordan was nice enough to correct my mistakes, give me tips and instructions @ equinox club, which really improved my performance for several exercises. So, I've decided to go for it.

I've been training with him for few weeks now and improvements in endurance, strength and technique are significant.

I guess my point is, even if you think you're really good most likely Jordan still can teach you a lot to get you further.

I've also seen him teaching beginners and from my own experience I can honestly say he's a good teacher. He's got patience, explains things well, pays attention to the details and won't let you slack. All that, while keeping the training sessions fun & interesting.

So, if you're serious about kettlebells and yourself he's really good help.

Kettle Bell Class Rated 10 out of 10
I have attended two workshops taught by jordan and I found them both to be challenging and informative. I really liked the way Jordan explained the technique and then had the class perform the movement. I really liked learning the kettle bell movements and i find kettle bell training to be a lot more fun than just plain old conventional training. I would strongly recommend going to a workshop with Jordan. He will challenge you to do things that you haven't done before and teach you things you didn't know before. Very informative and fun.

The Devil with a smile Rated 10 out of 10
Once you've started working out with Jordan you may find your self pausing to ask your self whether or not you are in fact a pseudo masochist. Jordan demands the best out of you and pushes you to the point where you fall to the ground and choose to stay there cause the alternative is attempting to get up and well that will just hurt too much. His clear and concise teaching style makes for easy replication on your own. In short Jordan's awesome but he also sucks.

Jordan has been great for integrating a kettlebell workout into the life of a busy working stiff. I can't guarantee my schedule in my line of work but he's been able to tailor my progress despite the interuptions. He's very knowledgeable and a great personal trainer.

getting back in shape Rated 10 out of 10
jordan is awesome! i started training with him after moving out to california and realizing there was such good food here i would quickly grow horizontally if i didn't start seriously moving. jordan makes me move! he carefully explained the techniques and waited patiently while i figured out how to do them. he always has a positive attitude. and the positivity rubs off, which is important, cause you can't do a good kettlebell workout in a bad mood. he really believes in what he is doing and that translates into excitement and dedication in the training sessions and when i am at home working with the kettlebell myself. i would definitely recommend jordan to anyone, and have actually started doing so to anyone who will listen!

I strongly recommend incorporating kettlebells into your fitness routine if you have not already. I loved loved loved taking the kettlebell workshops Jordan. He is very patient in thoroughly explaining the movements and techniques step by step. The class was challenging, fun, and informative. Jordan focused on all the deviations I had and helped to correct them. While it drove me nuts at the time, I am very grateful he did. I finally felt it in my butt! If you are looking to challenge yourself and take yourself to the next level do it will kettlebells.

I watched my partner change week by week under Jordan's careful tutelage. I was amazed to see him compete like an animal (well, a 52-year-old animal) in the Tactical Strength Challenge and dust a 21-year-old in the kettlebell competition. Jordan's tops!

I've really gotten stronger Rated 10 out of 10
I was lifting weights in the gym regularly and had hit a plateau in my strength, plus I was getting bored. I didn't want to get bigger, just stronger and leaner. I explained those goals to Jordan and his program delivered them. After working with Jordan for a couple months, I suddenly realized that I had increased my strength without bulking up. He's also given me good nutrition advice and helped to improve the traditional weight program I still do a couple times per week.

I always enjoy myself during my sessions with Jordan, even when he's pushing me. He's professional and focuses on form and safety, which I really appreciate. I'd recommend him to anyone.

Jordan Knows His Stuff when it comes to Kettlebell Training Rated 10 out of 10
Anyone who knows a thing about kettlebells knows that RKC certified trainers are among the best at what they do. That being said, Jordan is a very good instructor who is prompt, professional and a stickler for form. The world of training would be a lot better with more trainers of Jordan's caliber. Anyone who has a chance to meet and work with Jordan is well advised to do so. If you are not disciplined, however, don't expect Jordan to treat you with kid-gloves. He is an individual who demands accountability from his clients. I am fortunate to call him my trainer and I look forward to continuing making progress in strength, flexibility, agility, cardiovascular conditioning and power. I never thought I could get to where I am today and I can thank Jordan for that.

Excellent "E-Trainer" Rated 10 out of 10
All of my correspondence with Jordan has been through email consultation. Over the past 2 years, he has developed a training plan for me to meet my physical needs in regards to getting me to where I wanted to be. On my most recent physical test, I improved my pull-ups by 40% and reduced my run time by 2 minutes. His approach is simple, an in accordance to PTTP less is more. Jordan, thank you! Although I have not met with him personally, his training approach and training plan over the "net," has been top-notch. By providing videos, he was able to trouble shoot some of my flaws and corrected them with ease!

Truly functional training Rated 10 out of 10
I've been training in martial arts for a few years now, and after getting tossed around all too often, I decided to get into some sort of weight training program with the overall goal of increasing my cardio as well as getting stronger at the same time. At one martial arts seminar I attended, I learned about that kettlebell regimen the 70 year old instructor had gotten into, and after a couple of months looking around for a kettlebell trainer in the Bay Area, I came across Jordan's ad in Craigslist. That was the start of my love/hate relationship with kettlebells - they are great and highly efficient tools for getting results fast. My cardio's never been better (it was fairly poor at the time I'd started training with Jordan), and I've also gotten much stronger and consequently don't get injured as much during martial arts training. Jordan worked with me to understand my pre-existing injuries (of which there were several) along with other factors that were inhibiting me from getting the most out of my workouts. He's a knowledgeable and intense trainer who challenges you and never lets up on you until you're almost ready to drop from exhaustion - and I probably wouldn't have it any other way. Despite a somewhat sporadic schedule, I've improved my overall fitness, strength and even flexibility quite a bit, all thanks to working with Jordan.

Intelligent KB use Rated 10 out of 10
I have found Jordan's knowledge of KB history and practical use and execution of KB techniques to be extremely in depth and informative. He is truly passionate about the role KBs play in advancing one's fitness and it is demonstrated through his explanations and the results his clients accomplish.
Because of the risks associated with KB use, it is vital that an instructor is very detailed to ensure that the client performs the movement correctly and understands the intensity that is required of the movement. Jordan is someone who is always attentive and focused on the finer details to ensure just that.

Jordan and I served together as assistant instructors at the Camp Pendleton RKC of 2009. I found him to be a very effective communicator with a stealthy sense of humor. Jordan has an impressive depth and range of knowledge when it comes to kettlebells, Hardstyle principles and the pragmatic realities of training for combat. I look forward to working with Jordan again, and I highly recommend him as a trainer for athletes and non-athletes at all levels.

I thoroughly enjoyed training with Jordan. He helped me understand there is more to Kettlebell training techniques than meets the eye. His knowledge and training skills made our drills easy to comprehend. He has an ability to draw the best out of his students. He challenged us to learn and do amazing things! I believe I've learned from the best and feel confident I can apply what I've learned with any of my clients and help them reach their individual fitness goals with KBs. Definitely give him a try if you want to learn how, why and what a KettleBell certification class can add to your training skills.

thorough & passionate Rated 10 out of 10
Jordan is an extremely thorough and passionate instructor. those two things define for me what it means to be a good trainer. it is also clear to me that Jordan constantly strives to better himself by gaining more knowledge and experience in all aspects of physical training. not only for personal growth and development but also to further his ability to teach and impart his knowledge to other people. he is extremely down to earth and i felt no shame in asking many simple and silly questions.

Awesome Rated 10 out of 10
I've been working with Jordan and the KBs for about 3 weeks now and I can already see and feel results. He's very attentive and pays attention to little details -- he always gives me pointers on form and adapts the workout so that I'm really challenged, without going overboard. He knows a lot about conditioning in general and has also helped me with nutrition and given me exercises to help with my knee pain (they're working, by the way).

I never thought I'd need a trainer but it's amazing how much more effective basic exercise moves are when you do them with correct form. You can learn a lot about fitness just from reading on the internet, but it doesn't compare to someone who has all that knowledge and can help apply it to you as an individual. If you're serious about getting in shape I'd definitely recommend working with Jordan.

I have spoken to Jordan via the dragon door forums, via email and use his video tutorials again and again as a reference library for tricks, tips and techniques of all of the fundamental kettlebel lifts and much more. He uses excellent effective descriptions and demonstrations which leave no questions remaining in regards to how to improve and get effective and lasting results with your training.
This communication is true of every medium Jordan uses to help people make massive leaps forward in their training.

Jordan is second to none.

Jordan is an excellent trainer. His knowledge of basic and advanced kettlebells is astonishing. As a trainer myself I respect his hard work ethic and would recommend Jordan to anyone searching to implement kettlebells into their workouts.

That's why I had Pain Rated 10 out of 10
I stopped doing snatches because my left shoulder was killing me. Jordan watched me perform 4 or 5 snatches with my right arm and was instantly able to identify what I was doing wrong. Jordan corrected my form and I have been able to snatch with no pain since.

All-around Outstanding Rated 10 out of 10
Quite simply, if you want to get into outstanding physical condition, Jordan is the guy to see.

Although I had trained with kettlebells off and on for for a few years, I had never really committed myself enough to make a big difference. After a few sessions with Jordan, I'm stronger, have more endurance, my form is much better, and I've learned some new exercises, as well as ways to make my training both more effective and more demanding in less time. As a great trainer should, he does a fantastic job of pushing me further than I would normally go myself, but eases off before I plant my face in the deck. Likewise, he seems to be intuitively able to assess fitness levels so that the independent workouts he designs are just about perfect in terms of frequency and intensity.

Beyond expectation Rated 10 out of 10
I've been training with Jordan about a year and half and by far Jordan is the best trainer i've come across.

Jordan is very professional , besides being a honest hardworking trainer who is always learning more things to pass on to his clients.

I would highly recommend him to anyone who is not afraid to put in the hard work during the training session with him because the workout often changes to challenge the individual.

I want to thank Jordan for being a awesome trainer, his willingness to help and share information that he has is to be appreciated.

Jordan invented fitness... Rated 10 out of 10
...at least in my world he did. I'd spent about a decade riding a road bike but until I met Jordan I'm not sure I'd ever been fit.

He also invented kettlebells. Well, for me he did. His enthusiasm, creativity, and encouragement around this simple and powerful tool was so influential that after introducing them to our sessions in December 2007, by June 2008 I completed level I and II of the RKC cert program. Jordan gets top billing in that progression. He introduced me to something that has literally changed my life and my attitude towards fitness.

His creativity and curiosity sets him apart as a trainer in my opinion. He brings as much of himself to the sessions as he expects from his victims, I mean clients. And, he expects a lot.

INTENSE Rated 10 out of 10
I've had the good fortune of being fellow instructors with Jordan at Camp Pendleton for a Marines-only RKC instructor course, and fellow participants at various workshops, and let me tell you Jordan is the most intense and exacting person that one can ever meet, and this shows in the way he teaches - detail-oriented, precise, anal to the nth degree. Jordan has a great mastery of the RKC kettlebell repetoire, and one way or another he will make sure you get it and squeeze every last bit of effort out of you. Jordan is a prolific blogger and highly regarded contributor to the Dragon Door forum, and he has consistently put out high quality video clips to share with the kettlebell community. I learn something from Jordan everyday, and I would not hesitate to recommend him as a trainer. He will make a better monkey out of you.

An excellent instructor Rated 10 out of 10
I went to one of Jordan's RKC Preparatory workshops and I am very glad that I attended. Jordan was extremely welcoming from the start of the workshop, and he was very personal. He went through a large amount of material, and he was very thorough about all of it. It was very impressive because he had a good grasp on all of the material he was teaching.

He was also paid an incredible amount of attention to detail, and for that I am very thankful. He was very attentive to all who attended the workshop, and I would definitely recommend him to others. Jordan upholds the grand reputation of the RKCs.

Overall, great instructor, do not hesitate to take a lesson with him.

A Great Intro Workout Rated 10 out of 10
Though I had never recieved any formal Kettlebell instruction, the one-on-one lesson I recieved from Jordan was all around awesome. He corrected my form swiftly and hammered home the need for a solid core of basics before anything else. He was also profeesional, patient, and friendly. I walked away--maybe hobbled is a better word--with a much better understanding than even the videos had provided...not to mention an all around great work out.

Jordan Kicks My Butt Rated 10 out of 10
I tend to cyclically get out shape, gain weight, get frustrated, then just work out and diet hard to get things back in order. This time I decided to do something different, and checked out kettlebells with Jordan. I was kind of intimidated reading about the intensity of the workouts, but Jordan has given just the right push to keep things challenging every time without burning me out. I'm getting stronger, fitter, and am looking forward to many more workouts. It's much more fun than going to the gym and waiting for a treadmill or one of the lifting machines. And the results seem to be coming faster. Jordan's great - highly recommended!

Definitely Worth It...! Rated 10 out of 10
My husband insisted that I check out kettlebells with Jordan. I initially just went to the assessment session so I could say that I gave it a shot, sort of to get him to stop bothering me. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the experience, and I decided to keep seeing Jordan (along with my husband). It's cool that Jordan can run a workout for both of us even though we use different bells and have some different abilities. Jordan is super nice, but definitely pushes us forward and demands improvement every session. Those are great personality traits for a personal trainer. I find him to be a solid motivator. Even though he sneaks in heavier bells when you least expect it, the workouts are fun!

Good for One Arm or Two Rated 10 out of 10
Everything everyone says is true. The good, the bad, and the kettlebells. i got introduced to kettlebells just a week before I had shoulder surgery and thought it would be forever before i could actually get started but no sleep for the weary around Jordan. He adapted my workout to one arm and i was into it 3 weeks later. Jordan is a patient and adaptive trainer and like a good 401k will match the effort you are willing to give. did i really just make a 401k reference? There are no free rides, but Jordan helps you make make the most of it. A stickler for form you'll learn to get more out of 20 minutes than you ever got out of a 100 minutes before. I would highly recomend Kettlebells and Jordan for anyone looking to maximize their effort...whether you've got one arm or two.

A Trainer for Trainers Rated 10 out of 10
It's clear Jordan understands his subject matter. He knows how to articulate concepts in ways that are engaging and informative on several levels.

I'm a triathlon coach and a CrossFit trainer and I knew I needed help with my Kettlebell technique. While kettlebells are not a primary focus for the type of coaching I do, kettlebell workouts do come up, and I wanted to ensure I could convey the information properly and safely. Jordan was able to pinpoint form problems while providing effective cues to correct them.

Highly recommended.

I have recently begun KB workouts, and the videos by Jordan on you tube are a tremendous value to my early training. Even though I'm only using the 2 hand swing and Turkish get up, I have feel that my technique is good because of Jordon's videos. An Instructor's Instructor! Rated 10 out of 10
I have been training and teaching kettlebell training for a few years now and it has become a necessity to frequent his blog in order to check out his latest posts and youtube videos.

Jordan has an uncanny gift of presenting kettlebell training information and in particular training progressions in a refreshing way that is both concise and easy to implement .. I always leave with new insights in both my own training and that of my clients.

His latest set of three youtube videos on teaching the snatch has transformed how I teach it.

Thanks Jordan!!

Just wanted to send a quick thank you note. I've used your advice from several different threads as well as gotten important information from your youtube videos. You have filled in all of the information gaps left from my studying the ETK video and book. I have a saying I came up with after a voice teacher helped me make significant improvements to my singing that applies here: you know the 'magic words' to use that helped this noob 'get it' and complete the big picture. It's not always what you say but how you say it and demonstrate - great work! I appreciate your generosity and applaud your commitment to helping others without expecting anything in return.

Elite amongst the elite Rated 10 out of 10
Jordan is definitely elite amongst even an elite band of coaches that comprise the RKC community. I have never met him in person but you take notice when certain names keep popping up on the forums and such to help out not just the kettlebell novices but other RKC's such as myself to streamline our teaching skills. I had expressed that I had trouble teaching people how to time the snatch and he went out of his way to create some videos on how he teaches the snatch. Just watch him and you can see what an effective communicator, instructor, teacher and coach he is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01kc-W4Uv_8 If you have the opportunity to work with him DO IT!

Technical Genius Rated 10 out of 10
I owe a lot of progress in my kettlebell training to Jordan. His ability to simplify the complex moves involved in kettlebells is only second to his passion for teaching. He is a great role model for the practitioner, as well as the inspiring instructor. I am currently training for the RKC and Jordan's lessons are a big part of my arsenal. If you are in CA and looking for a RKC instructor that is passionate about his student's success, look no further.

I have yet to work with Jordan in person. I have only used his video's and information posted on Youtube and Dragondoor. To me it speaks volumes of the simplicity, and effectiveness of Jordan's teaching that he can assist me without any personal contact. His videos are clear, concise and actually help me learn the most complex kettlebell techniques in a few minutes. My hands haven't had a tear in weeks after watching his snatch "catch and release" video. I hope to work with this gentleman at the August 2009 Sand Diego RKC Certification Workshop. If I had the time ( just had a baby ) I would train with him in person in a heartbeat. Hats off to you Jordan, keep up the amazing work!

Clear and Effective Instruction Rated 10 out of 10
After the RKC, I could have won the prettiest hands contest. There were people there who deserved purple hearts after losing their palms. I had one tiny blister starting, and it wasn't even from the kettlebells.

Jordan's technique videos had me way ahead of the curve. His methods are simple and effective. He always answers my questions with patience and good humor.

An honorable businessman and a passionate instructor, Jordan Vezina combines all the best parts of the RKC system without ever being condescending or intimidating.

I can't say enough good things about him. Do yourself a favor and reach your goals with Jordan's help.

Now that's a workout! Rated 10 out of 10
Training with Jordan has proven that I'm a complete masochist. Legs wobbled like jello after every workout, yet I still went twice a week. Why? Because when Jordan told me I'd be able to do the get up with 12kg during our first session, I laughed at him and called him crazy. But he was true to his words, and I was doing it by the eighth session! After my sessions with Jordan, I've felt much stronger and better about myself. Thanks, Jordan!

Everything you have read is true! Rated 10 out of 10
I'm a 53 year old woman who recently lost 30 pounds. I happened to be walking in downtown Palo Alto one day and came across Jordan's brochure. What made me call? I'm still questioning that decision as this is one of the hardest things I've ever done, but I'm glad I'm sticking with it after several months. Jordan is very detailed (and enjoys our suffering), while doing our workouts. This past week I was tubing down in a river in Utah. My mom who is a fairly large woman, probably weighing 200 hundred pounds got lodged between 2 boulders in some rapids. I had to stop tubing, climb upstream and unlodge her from the rocks. Believe me, it was scary and I had to use every ounce of energy I had, to fight against the current, hold on to my tube and save her! I swear it's the kettlebell workouts that helped me in this situation. So although Jordan is a sadist, I want to stick with this and am excited to see further results!

Cool trainer who will push you to the limit! Rated 10 out of 10
I've been through so many attempts of trying out some type of work out and after a couple of times quiting. I finally found the workout that fits me perfectly in terms of getting a mixture of cardio and building definition. More importantly, I've found the trainer that makes all of this fun yet challenging (and yeah, I have to admit, at times painful). Jordan is a great trainer, who seriously knows how the body works and because of such knowledge knows where your body needs correction and what are the effective/efficient ways to get to that. Despite some of the "scary" reviews here, I was bit surprised when he didn't push me that hard the first couple sessions, but alas, I realize that those were the good, chill days. Now, he is pushing me more than before, and although I am sore after the sessions, I am so excited to see definite results -- just after about a month of training!! A cool trainer, who won't disappoint you in pushing your limits!

Jordan's got a ton of great insight on many topics from movement screening to the KB basics to Naked Warrior stuff (pistols, OAOLPU), etc.

We jumped right in at the top of the hour and for an hour straight Jordan provided point after point of great tips, corrections, training suggestions, drills, demonstrations, etc.

I took notes afterword and am still remembering points that I need to write down that he made that are really helpful to me hitting my goals of OAOLPU, SSST, muscle-up pull-up.

I have been a personal trainer for over 20 years and when it comes to kettlebell training Jordan is my go to guy. He has provided a wealth of information to me. Balances different objectives Rated 10 out of 10
My husband and I have been taking personal training sessions with Jordan for a few weeks. Both of us have very different goals - his is to scuplt, mine to lose weight. We also have different styles - I like variety and he likes consistency. Jordan does a great job of balancing our goals by tailoring our workouts even though we are both there at the same time. He is able to judge when I am bored and when my husband needs a break. His read on our ability balanced with pushing us in the right way is supremely appreciated. He is very responsive on emails and that is helpful if you are trying to work out at home and need some guidance. I also like his non-pushiness when it comes to buying kettlebells or signing up for personal training. Overall, I would recommend Jordan to anyone considering kettlebells.

Great DVD Rated 10 out of 10
I just finished watching "The corrections Kettlebell DVD by Jordan Vezina RKC. I had no idea how good the DVD would be. First you have to understand I have every Dragon Door DVD and Book, I am a RKC and Z health guy and thought there is no way I will learn how to swing a bell better I can now through a DVD. WRONG

Jordan not only blew me away with some of the corrections for the swing and other Kettlebell drills, but this dude is just fun to watch, This DVD is great for people who teach Kettlebells, lift Kettlebells, or plain on doing the RKC. I was shocked about how good this DVD is at showing corrections to common Kettlebell errors. Jordan Congratulations you have made a great DVD that will stand the test of time.

Cannot recommend highly enough! Rated 10 out of 10
I first discovered Jordan through his YouTube videos. Having started working on the ETK Program Minimum a month or two ago, I was searching the web for resources to help me improve my form. One of the first videos I found was his one on swing corrections, which I found hugely helpful. I was immediately able to identify several areas of improvement, and could feel things starting to click over the coming weeks.

Once I felt comfortable with the basic techniques, I knew it was time to have a session with an RKC, and I knew that Jordan was the guy to go to. My session was even better than I could've hoped for, and included several WTH moments. In just one session I feel that much closer to mastering the basic techniques, thanks to Jordan's expertise and guidance. It was a great experience being able to share in Jordan's clearly vast knowledge about everything to do with Kettlebells, and that one session has not only given me more than enough to work on, but the inspiration to do so as well.

I will definitely be going back, and cannot recommend him highly enough for anyone else looking for a Kettlebell trainer.

Excellent trainer, highly recommended Rated 10 out of 10
I am a student in a 10 year kung fu training program based on a remote mountain in Humboldt county. I live there most of the year, but spend some time in SF where I lived previously. My training schedule is 50-60 hours a week and is extremely physically rigorous. One of my fellow students got me interested in kettlebells as a tool to complement our normal conditioning routine and better prepare our bodies for this lifestyle, so I decided to seek out a trainer while I was in SF this summer. Based on many excellent reviews and a good intuition, I made the exceptionally wise choice of going to Jordan. I've never had a trainer before, so I have nothing to compare this experience to, but it's been fantastic. His knowledge of training technique and theory is both deep and broad. He does an excellent job communicating the finer points of technique that many lesser trainers probably overlook. I also have a great deal of trust in his ability to design an appropriate program for me and to give me the most effective and efficient training regimen possible. I've been training with him 3 weeks now and I already experience a difference in my strength, endurance, and general sense of well being. I can't recommend kettlebell training, and Jordan in particular, enough. Beyond the training itself , Jordan seems like a generous, friendly, and kind person as well, so extra points for that! =)

Since I don't live in USA I can't get live instruction so the only way I could learn HardStyle is by books and videos and Jordan is THE BEST when it comes to correcting technique through videos and I highly encourage you to get his DVD 'The Corrections' because it covers every little thing you missed when you learned RKC six basic drills.Another plus is when someone with great sense of humor like Jordan teaches you it's easier to remember because it promotes good learning(neural chunking a la Z).If you are located near him pay him a visit and your technique will go from average to ELITE!

Clear, concise and achievable - thank-you!!! Rated 10 out of 10
I have never met Jordan Vezina but he has had serious influence on my kettlebell training through his video postings on youtube, his youtube channel and his website.

Jordan simply connects with his audience. No predictable braggadocio or mundane machismo just plain, easy to understand achievable instruction delivered in a clear, concise and effective way that works. It's all good. I've also corresponded with Jordan and he has been more than helpful.

I have been using kettlebells for 18 months I have shifted an awesome amount of bodyweight and am fitter now than I have ever been since my early 20's.

I am self-taught through books and videos some have been good, some pretty indifferent. But whenever I've felt the need to tweak my snatches, tidy my cleans or tighten up my form in general I've had the best advice from watching Jordan Vezina RKC.

Thanks for everything Jordan and good luck with the new video I'm sure it'll be a winner.

Before I met Jordan, I had worked with perhaps a half-dozen other personal trainers and been disappointed by them all. Jordan changed that. I've been impressed with him since our first meeting around 2 years ago. In fact, after my first session I immediately called up my wife and told her she needed to sign up with him too. He is motivational, knowledgeable, and entertaining, but at the same time very genuine and low-key - truly a rare combination in his field.

I've found doing kettlebell work with Jordan to be the most interesting, productive and inspirational course of training I've ever found anywhere. Kettlebells are an amazing tool, but it isn't hard to see that they would be dangerous if used incorrectly. With Jordan's help, I'm convinced they are the perfect program for almost anyone at almost any age.

Sustainable Results Rated 10 out of 10
I've been through 3 work out routines in the last 5 years: typical gym-rat press/curl/whatever machines, CrossFit, and Jordan's kettle bell sessions. Not only have Jordan's workouts provided the most noticeable impact on my strength, the work outs have been sustainable. Have no delusions, Jordan's workouts will slay you, but you won't feel like you've damaged yourself to get it done (like some CrossFit WODs). This is probably because he's a stickler for form. Expect constant corrections, no matter how well you think you can swing the damn bell.

All that said, probably the best part is goading him into teaching you strong man feats ;-) Bending nails is damn satisfying.

Jordan really understands those of us who want to improve Rated 10 out of 10
The simplest thing to say is just that I wish I had come across Jordan and his videos a year ago. I know my technique would be much more solid and precise. What Jordan really seems to excel at is understanding where us novice types are and how we can get better, quickly.

He also does a tremendous job of leading by example, as all of the RKCs do.

I highly recommend his videos, especially The Corrections.

Awesome DVD Rated 10 out of 10
I purchased Jordan's "The Corrections" DVD. As a long time student and instructor (Krav Maga) myself, I can honestly say this is the absolute best instructional DVD I have ever viewed!!! Clear, well made, concise, easy to remember, and well illustrated. I train with a couple of RKC guys here in Charleston, and the DVD is a great tool to constantly remind me to work toward better technique. It is like months of instruction and correction packed in 10-15 min segments! Sadly almost every breakdown in technique Jordan points out-I have been making as I move up in weight. The DVD truly brought about a "course correction" that will allow me to progress more safely and effectively. Highly recommended!!!

Great Instructor! Rated 10 out of 10
I live in Palo Alto and noticed Jordan's location--Girya Training-- on Hamilton Avenue about nine months ago. I had just bought a set of kettlebells and was reading Pavel's books. I had bought some videos as well.

I was basically doing the KB movements incorrectly, as I tweaked my back. I set the KB's aside for about eight months. Then I decided to stop and discuss training options at Girya Training. This was a very good decision! I met Jordan and discussed my situation at leangth. He invited me to a FREE initial session where he did a flexibility assessment and watched me do KB swings.

Just from that initial assessment I knew I had met the right guy! His observations about my muscle tension and lack of flexibility were right on. I just completed my third session with him after having worked on my hip flexibility and swing technique. He just taught me the Turkish getup yesterday and between that move and a bunch of swings I'm exhausted, but feel great! I'm sore in a good way and I'm actually excited to learn more and really incorporate KB training into my life!

It was evident to me the first time I tried KB's at home that I would need instruction. I really believe that instruction is necessary for this activity. Jordan makes scheduling easy and he's very patient and explains all the components of each move in detail. He's a true "student of the game" and I recommend him highly if you're looking for an excellent instructor!

I've been able to assist with Jordan at a couple certifications now, and at this latest one, in San Diego (2009), Jordan presented a brief snatch lecture and led the MVO2 workout. So I can finally say, from first-hand experience, that Jordan is a terrific instructor. He's probably one of the hardest working people in the RKC, and his clients are the fortunate beneficiaries of that. His skills are top-notch, his presentation clear, his knowledge base strong, and his demeanor both professional and totally likeable. You'll be very happy you've chosen him to be your instructor.

Jordan has a very keen eye for the detail; being the one person on the course who had never touched a kettlebell and has severe mobility issues, his insight and expertise was enlightening for myself and those on the course; they got to see a real 'problem' client. Jordan was able to demonstrate an ability to teach across levels and instill enthusiasm and dynamism into all the participants. An excellent instructor, worth taking a course with him as the lead!

I am walking away with more confidence in my own technique, but also in my training skills. He thoroughly goes through EVERY problematic situation in the swing, snatch, clean, press etc. and teaches different techniques to help overcome every scenario. He is very motivating and definitely gives you an incredible workout; by knowing your strengths he manages to get you swinging/snatching bells you NEVER thought you could do. He is very confident in what he does and I would highly recommend him! THANK YOU JORDAN!

I started with Enter The Kettlebell a few months ago and although ETK gives you everything you need to know to start your journey and practice safely and smart there comes a time when you start getting curious about little details in your training where you are not 100% sure if you are doing them right. Nothing that would be a danger to your safety, but still you keep wondering, if you are still perfectly on track. Since I'm located in germany I couldnt find an RKC nearby, so I decided to get his new material "The Corrections" and I must say it was one of the better decisions I made in training. "The Corrections" takes care exactly of those little things you start wodnering about when you are down the road for a while without a RKC nearby. And it takes care well, I must say! Easy and practical spot on guidance to make sure you get yours basics 100% straight. And all this for a bargain I must add. So if you are in a similar situation as I am/was: Do yourself a favour and get "The Corrections", you won't regret it! TWO THUMBS UP FROM GERMANY!

As a Law Enforcement professional, I need a top quality trainer to keep me in great shape. I'm always looking for new ways to train.
I found Jordan and recently trained with him. He's the real deal.

He was extremely knowledgeable of the Kettlebell Training. I had a few injuries in which he was able to quickly access. He then devised an appropriate training routine for me.
He showed me in detail how to properly use the kettlebell and how NOT to get injured.
If you need a trainer who knows what he talking about, see Jordan.

Top Tier Instruction Rated 10 out of 10
Jordan's DVD and manual are vital tools for your training tool box. It was after viewing his video corrections series, on his site and on You Tube, that convinced me he did his research and applied his hard earned experience towards guiding his clients. He's quick to offer valuable, common sense advice on the Dragon Door forum and shows a true love of training. He'll be the first to tell you he doesn't have the greatest genetics, but his hard earned accomplishments are within the reach of any man or woman who is willing to put forth the will and time to reach their goals. In a world of confusing advice, fitness fads and gimmicks, Jordan's instruction and guidance are a sure bet.

He will make it happen Rated 10 out of 10
I went to Jordan because I was unfit and overweight. My objectives were simple to gain functional strength and endurance, to lose belly fat and to make work-outs a regular habit. With his help I am on my way to reach my goal.

What I like about Jordan's methods are the following
1) He explains why he wants me to do what he says
2) He adopts a systematic approach
3) He does not talk down to me
4) He does not over-promise
5) He is patient with beginners
6) He works around my injuries
7) He encourages me to do more without pushing too hard
8) He adjusts his approach to my fitness level
9 He is not pedantic

There is not much to dislike except that sometimes I would like to choose a routine and he won't let me. But he is the trainer so I guess I should not complain too much.

If you are looking to improve your fitness, strength or shape you should seriously consider Jordan as a trainer.

Jordan is simple one of the best. His ability to distill the complex down to the simplest components will help you take your kettlebell practice to higher levels. If you can't work with him face to face, be sure to invest in his "Corrections" series.

Jordan is an excellent Kettlebell instructor. I started taking his class during the summer and now I"m hooked. The first time I tried Kettlebell I was sore for a couple days. The exercises Jordan teaches are great for a full body workout! I highly recommend Jordan as a kettlebel instructor and a personal trainer. He is also highly trained at TRX. Try it out, you will not regret it!

The Corrections are a life-saver Rated 10 out of 10
After attempting to learn kettlebells from an instructor at my school, I was quickly suspicious of how fast we were moving (snatches in class two... we had maybe done a total of twenty swings). I consulted a friend of mine and looked around the web and found Jordan's youtube videos. I immediately dropped the course and bought ETK. Jordan's corrections helped me to develop a strong base with swings and getups, and most importantly to do them correctly.

Since then I have received his Corrections DVD and man is it awesome. Barebones and hardcore.
