In the 7 years I have known Colette, I have never seen her so enthusiastic about a training program. With her tailored approach she shows you how to get the most out of this workout. It's effective, efficient and most of all fun. Colette works on basic building blocks, always emphasizing proper form and technique. With this approach, you are able to work and add complexity at your own pace. This is a fabulous training program and Colette has the expertise, enthusiasm and encouragement for you to succeed!

Collette knows how to make a tough workout fun!
Rated 10 out of 10
I began training with Collette over a year ago with traditional strength training and running. I had a goal to complete a half-marathon, and now with Collette's guidance, expert training, compassion, and inspiration, I am now training for my third race. Collette has competed herself and knows that with hard work, one can achieve their goals. She can take a true beginner and safely teach them the proper techniques to avoid injury and to succeed. All of this transcends into her absolute passion and enthusiasm for teaching kettlebells. Let's admit it, they look intimidating, and lethal, but with Colette's keen focus on starting with the basics, and succeeding at those before moving forward, you can have a great workout which is hard, but fun! I have only been using the kettlebells for a couple of months now, but I can tell a difference. Make an appointment with Collette today - she is the best!

Strongest most raw power strength I have ever had. Colette and kettlebells are awesome.
Rated 10 out of 10
When Colette first shared with me the kettlebell system, and having never seen a bell, I was a bit skeptical at first. However, after our first training session with a small bell I knew Colette was onto something. We have been training with kettlebell's now for many months and I have to say I now have more raw strength and power than I ever would have obtained with traditional gym/weights workouts.
Colette's training style is very instructive, safe, but tough. In the 10 months I have been training with Colette, not once have I had any discomfort in my weaker left shoulder. Back to kettlebells: This morning Colette had instructed me to group certain excercises together. For example, swings, snatches, press, and squat, left side right side, then swing and walk 10 steps. She wanted me to do this routine enough times to get to the end of the grass field, about 60 yards. yeah right! NO way. Got about 2/3's of the way and had to stop. And for those of you who think you are tough... so am I, and Kettlebell has gotten me in the best shape of my life. I highly recommend the Kettlebell system and if you are in South Florida, get in touch with Colette today. Best thing you ever did for yourself.

Colette has made me a fan of the kettlebell!
Rated 10 out of 10
I have been training with Colette for almost 7 years and during that time Colette has re-shaped my body considerably. Despite the fact that Colette mixes up my routine with some frequency, I found myself looking for something new in my workouts. And although I loved how my body looked, mentally I needed something new. Colette had been enthusiastically talking about the kettlebell, getting me curious and excited. At first I thought that I could not achieve a "good" workout like I had been experiencing. Boy was I wrong! The kettlebell is one tough workout! It is fun, different and difficult -- it was everything I was looking for in a workout. Even after 7 years, Colette is still able to keep my workouts fun and exciting! When you combine those two things with her vast knowledge of exercise physiology - I feel safe in saying that Colette is one heck of a trainer.

Colette has me loving kettlebells!
Rated 10 out of 10
I have known Colette for about three years. With her expertise and guidance, she has helped me win my class in two figure competitions in the past two years. This year, Colette introduced me to kettlebell. I have never seen her so enthusiastic about the kettlebell system and was eager to try it. I found kettlebell challenging, but Colette's style of training was very instructive and safe. I have seen amazing results after just two months. Kettlebell training has given me more endurance, power, and strength. Thanks to Colette, I feel I am in better shape now than I have ever been.

Kettlebell is for teens too!

im alexa keno age 17. I started kettle bell just a few months ago. Not only has kettle bell transformed my body making me stronger and fit it has also gave me strength to swim faster than I ever have been swimming. Kettle bell has made me stronger in my arms that it is easier to pull underwater to get goals I never thought would be possible. I have noticed that I have gotten stronger too because I can't use the same kettle bell anymore. Kettle bell is a great thing to do because it works you in all areas.

Improving my triathlon
Rated 10 out of 10
I train seriously for triathlon. Last year I was 9th in the World long course triathlon age group 45-49, in Holland.
Seeing biking is usually 60% of the race, I decided to give Kettlebell a try to strengthen my body, hoping these workouts would in turn, make me a better cyclist. At first I was skeptic to doing kettlebell. I will give the hard facts of my twice weekly workouts of kettlebell since December concerning my recent bike tests.
Performed on exact conditons of a indoor trainer.
OCT 14 2008 (before kettlebell) 30 minute time trial 11.85 miles
FEB 21 2009 (after kettlebell) 30 minute time trial 12.25 miles
In October I was in peak phase for my 1/2 Ironman World Championship NOV 8th.
My recent workout is my preseason workout and I am in early phase training after taking 7 weeks totally off. I did this test after only 6 weeks of base training for triathlon. I am ahead of where I was when I was in peak shape from last season!!!
I must now give full credit to kettlebell and Colette's training methods for my increased strength on my bike. I fully believe it's because I have a stronger core, quad, hamstrings and buttocks, not to mention the cardio I get with her classes. It's truly a 2 for 1 workout...cardio and strength.
In closing I have new found power and by peak phase triathlon I will surely be over 25 mph in later in the season if I am this strong so early in season. For endurance athletes I truly recommend this as a compliment to training. I will keep with Kettlebell and I am extremly excited as I enter my triathlon 2009 season.

Improved my 5K time and running ability-reduced flab
Rated 10 out of 10
I am a active jogger and runner, and since I ahave been doing Kettlebell training 2X per week for 3 months, I can say without a doubt my running has improved. I was always in the neighborhood of 24-25 minutes for the 3.1 mile race the last 5 years. To my astonishment I ran a 22 minute flat 5K last Sunday. I was skeptical at first with Collette, but she said to give it a try, I would not be disappointed. Man, was she right!
As far as my fast 5K, the only thing I can attibute it too was kettlebell training. I improved my core and muscle tone where alot of "skinny" runners are lacking, and actually are flabby. I guess I used to be a "Fat Skinny Person" if there is such a thing. The kettlebells have toned area's where all runners need to tone up. High cardio workouts are not the only thing needed for your body!! Listen up runners! If you want a new fresh PR give this a try. You won't bulk up like the "Incredible Hulk" and you no longer will look like a flabby malnourished runner...you will blow by the normal competition usually around you, looking lean, toned and healthy. Also the improved muscle in your body will prevent injuries, as by body can actually train harder and longer with the new toning and muscle I have accquaired. In a sense I guess this is why I improved my 5K time. I am the experiment gone right..whearas normal heavy lifting actually slows you down. Kettlebell training will not slow you down! It will only make you faster.

I started doing kettle bells 3 months ago with Colette.Colette is great at teaching proper form and implementing a combination of cardio and strength training. She motivate and inspire you to work hard, push yourself. While taking care to make sure you're doing the kettle bell workout safely useing the right weight for your strength level.
Kettle bells workout twice a week with colette has help me to lose weight, lose my jelly belly, strenghten my core, my arms but most important my bad right knee. I hurt my knee in a race 10 years ago and was unable to run any races since. Colette's kettle bells training as help my knee get so strong that I was able to run my first 5k race 3weeks ago avg. 9:05 per mile 28:11 min. and 1 week ago
8k race avg.8:40 per mile 43:42 min. after just 2 1/2 months of kettle bells.
I'm getting stronger, I'm getting faster, kettle bells baby let do it..

I became introduced to KB through Colette after admiring her legs at the local YMCA. After talking to Colette for a short time, I quickly became aware of her passion for fitness and personal wellbeing. I am an athlete by nature but have fallen victim to "too little time" and "my family comes first" excuses which has caused me to watch from the sidelines. Colette has reinvigorated my desire to get back into shape through KB; Colette's passion for the art, and her "you can do it" teaching style made it so easy and the results from her workouts make it even easier. If it were not for Colette I would still not have time to work out. Thank you Colette.
