The inspirational force behind Core X Sports Performance stemmed from my desire to create a complete fitness and wellness service for people of all ages, with differing personal goals, and who participate in various athletic activities.
Recognizing both the physical and mental needs of people led me to pursue a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Becoming an RKC and CK-FMS is a perfect complement to my Physical Therapy practice. From my extensive training in physical therapy, Kettlebells and sports medicine evolved a comprehensive individual fitness program which we incorporate into every client’s program.

I have seen Chuck work with athletes and through the motivation he instills, these young kids are practicing core training with injury-prevention skill development. Chuck persistently emphasizes the need to use good technique with any type of weights and the kettlebell is an excellent example of both mental and physical discipline. His class incorporated high energy, good calorie burning, and fun. I had a great time and felt like I actually learned some new work-out tips!!

Chuck is not only a great boss, but also an awesome kettelbell "teacher"!!
He's been instructing me for about a month now, and I've definitly seen improvement in all my movements, including my core strength. I am gymnast/cheerleader, and I can surely see a difference in my skills on the floor and in the gym. I seem to be more aware of my body movements, after starting kettelbell training.
I always understand how to do a skill after his explenation, and I wouldn't want anyone else instructing me!

I'm currently being instructed in the field of kettle belling by Mr. Chuck and, I must say that my overall core stability has increased, benefiting me in extracurricular activity, dance. his teaching methods are very through and have encouraged me to spread the word about the wonderful world of kettle belling.

My kettlebell workout experience with Chuck is always fun, and never ends without a good sweat. I've known Chuck and have been working out with him for 8 months on most Fridays. I have seen increasing improvement in my over all strength and core stability. I really like to mix kettlebells into my other workout routines. No matter what sport you play or if you just want a way to combine strength training and cardio, Chuck is the man to see.
