when i first met ken i immediately knew he was someone who not only had depth of knowledge but could practically apply those traits to show you why, how, what exactly works to get someone to there fitness goals. he's someone i am constantly resourcing for ideas and he is more than generous with his time and knowledge.

Worth It!

I first met Ken down at Santa Monica beach a few weeks before attending the RKC in San Jose this year. I was down there swingning a Kettlebell and he came up and asked me if I was an RKC. I told him not yet, but I will be attending San Jose. He let me pick his brain abit about what to expect as I was secretly scared out of my witts. He put my mind at ease, was very encouraging and down to earth. As luck would have it, he turned out to be one of the Assistant Instructors for my team. It was great to see a familiar face from the beach. Ken's feedback the whole weekend was specific, easy to understand and positive. Ken, like all the other RKC's I encountered over that weekend are dedicated and serious about what they do while remaining open and approachable.

Ken is the perfect balance between form and fitness. He takes the time to make sure you are doing everything properly but also kicks your butt with his workouts! He discovered a form correction that was very much needed in my swings that other instructors let slide. AND I always leave our workouts feeling like I've had the best workout ever. I hope to continue to train with him for quite some time.

Ken is the perfect headliner of what one seeks for in a great trainer.....he's knowledgeable, technically astute, good attitude, dependable/professional, always prepared and continually changes it up- not much small talk because this is a serious workout, and when in doubt of your abilty to complete any task, Ken provides the suitable motivation to keep u going strong.....In the short time we've worked together , I already feel like I've gained overall strength and flexibility...Eventhough I still struggle with the execution of certain exercises, Kens patience and willingness to see it through, as well as his thorough teaching ability and determined manner in converting ' know-how' into actual physical action keep me going and I feel far more equipped with overall body sensibility since beginning to work together.....Thanx Ken, appreciate all your efforts of which I am the grateful beneficiary.....If u looking to gain in your fitness/strength and overall physical aptitude, it doesn't get better than Ken - He is the REAL DEAL.

Ken is a great instructor. While I'm far from an expert, I've used kettlebells for the last several years. Ken immediately improved my technique and made my training not just safer, but stronger and more efficient as well. I highly recommend him as a kettlebell instructor!

Ken rocks! I've only been working with kettlebells for a few months, but noticed the benefits after only my first class. As a surfer & weightlifter with horrible shoulder flexibility, I tend to get bursitis flare ups. Regardless of how my shoulders & back might be feeling, after an hour of kettlebells, they feel like new. For me, Ken's classes are part strength/conditioning & part physical therapy. He makes sure that everyone uses proper form & that every class is an experience. I couldn't recommend him more.

Ken is everything you could want in a kettlebell instructor. He is very knowledgeable about different techniques and proper form. His classes have improved my strength and most importantly my flexibility. He is very easy going and makes you very comfortable when asking questions about proper form. If you want to know everything you need to know about kettlebells then Ken is the instructor for you.

I look forward to Ken's kettlebell classes every week. He has a tremendous amount of knowledge regarding kettlebells and overall fitness. He's willing to do whatever it takes to help you get the technique right. I struggled with cleans when I first started and Ken worked with me one on one until I eventually was able to get it down. The workouts that he puts together are awesome and they always make you work your hardest. When I'm done I always feel like I had an exceptional workout. I highly recommend Ken to anyone interested in kettlebell training. He's the best there is when it comes to kettlebells

Phenomenol Instructor & Class

I look forward to Kenny's Kettlebell Training Class every single week because it's intense, his teaching style is extremely attentive to each and every student, and Kenny's form while demonstrating is impeccable. I had a severe back strain that had prevented me initially from doing Kenny's class effectively. Part of the reason was I had been doing a lot of my movements (as a spill over from other workouts) completely wrong. Kenny immediately corrected my form and my back problems have slowly subsided over time. I feel stronger, more powerful, and covered in sweat after every workout with Kenny (which is a huge bonus). I cannot recommend him more highly or enthusiastically. You are dealing with a pro here.

Wealth of knowledge

Ken and I talked shop, or I should rephrase that to "I let him talk and I listened". Anyone training with him is blessed to have a knowledgeable, attentive and no-nonsense direct approach to fixing problems like Ken possesses. I am RKC myself, and have other certs and run my own shop, but Ken is one of those people you strive to become as you grow!

I had the distinct opportunity of attending a Z-Health certification with Ken. During the certification I mentioned my pistols were ragged and I needed a little heel lift to reach bottom without falling back -- a common problem. Ken demonstrated a couple drills to perform and then provided some additional "encouragement." After which I performed a "butt on achiles" pistol -- all the way to the bottom and all the way to the top! Although I am an RKC, that was my first ever full ROM pistol! Ken provides simple and effective drills and instruction...quality, excellence, and committed! Thanks, Ken

Quiet Confidence-Keen Observer

Ken was an assistant at my RKC Certification in San Diego. He has a quiet confidence about him that allows him to observe a lot before saying anything. Once you ask, he has a lot of great observations and correctives. He was able to help me with many different form issues. He gets in my head and makes me THINK about how I move and how I can move better. At a recent Pavel workshop following my RKC, Ken spent his own lunch break time to help me with some movement and pain issues I was having. Once again, his observations were quite helpful. He is willing to take a stand and hold his line even if others don't quite understand--he can basically back it up. Ken's a good man and instructor. I hope I can continue to work with him in the future. I have no reservations about recommending Ken Froese as a RKC or Z-Health instructor. He knows his stuff!
